The coffee is exceptionally good - never had a bad coffee. Or a bad customer service experience for that matter...all the staff there no matter how busy they are take time to chat and make you feel like a valued customer....especially Jack....I usually go in on my way to work in the mornings and it really does set you up for the day

Buen lugar donde desayunar un buen sandwich, unas tostadas o unos gofres con una pinta genial. La atención es muy buena por parte de los camareros pero un poco lentos a la hora de servir. Probamos la tostada de aguacate, los huevos turcos y dos sandwiches. Os recomiendo 100% el sandwich chilli cheese, con varios tipos de queso y una mayonesa de chili un poco picantita. Una delicia.

First ever time having avocado toast and this place made a fan out of me. Between this and their delicious waffles, I would comfortably recommend this place for food any day! Food stops serving at 3pm so get in early and treat yourself!

Delicious food, great service and lovely surroundings.very attentive staff. I spilt my coffee a little onto my saucer and they came with a napkin without being asked! definitely will come again Much better than we has expected Great cakes too!

Came across this quirky coffee house on our way to hire kilts (right next door). Loved the decor and how the tables are set out. Staff were friendly and the coffee was good, as were the supersized blueberry muffins. Only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is the size of the coffee cups (a large would be a good option).

Little independent place on Leith Walk perfect for a coffee stop off. Cakes, tea/coffee and baked goods, as well as hot brunch menu. Quite small but bustling with regulars and walk ins alike. Modern interior with little booths and nooks. Free WiFi (password protected) and designated laptop tables. Staff are friendly and helpful. Outdoor seating available if the weather is nice. Turkish eggs were good but could have done with more than one slice of toast (cut up into strips).

Went here for a (takeaway) brunch with a friend. Friendly staff and quick service. Really yummy 4 cheese toastie with chilli jam, so tasty. Also the best dirty chai latte I’ve had in ages! Will be back soon!

They have opened a little kiosk at the front of the store. Felt Covid safe as staff member was wearing a mask and kept at a distance. The guy that served me was so friendly and asked about my day and uni. Had so many different drinks options and tea flavours. The brownies are delicious!

Came across this little cosy coffee house a few days ago and all I can say is a massive WOW! Excellent coffee and variety. Food as really amazing fresh and home made. Very reasonably prices and you can tell effort has gone into making the food. Cakes are delicious ( homemade also) The deco is relaxed and no one rushing you in and out like most cafés. The staff are extremely friendly and professional. A lot of attention to detail. E maculate and very safe as per COVID-19 guidelines. Nice seating area in the front. Again I will mention the staff as they are very attentive if you sit inside or outside something you don't get in many places. Overall a great experience. Well done to the team that run this little gem!

I discovered Oqo Coffee, or Coffee Nook, a few weeks ago and have been back for a delicious 'Flat White' on an almost daily basis. A truly recommendable spot and perfectly located in the upper part of Leith Walk in Edinburgh's New Town. Staff are very, very friendly and make this inviting place a true gem. And I haven't even mentioned the wide selection of good food & drink - but that's up to you now to discover and enjoy!

An absolutely mess. Expensive and the worst breakfast you can expect. Literally, 7.5£ half green avocado on a slice of unflavoured sourdough heavy and dense. And 7£ for a bagel like the one from the supermarket. Also chai late very milky and not even hot. Honestly I've never felt so deceived as today. I'm a chef and I really can tell you this place is spending less than 0.40£ in each dish. Walked out thinking the only thing I can do is to share my honest opinion with you guys. Please, Don't give them a chance to rip you off like me.

Just reopened after lockdown, this was my first visit on a recommendation and I'll be back! Good cup of coffee and a very nice scrambled egg and avocado on toast. Friendly service. Tables separated by perspex, with outdoor tables too.

Fantastic place, relaxed and cosy. I had coffee there . Coffee was great. Staff are very friendly and swift . Overall it is a nice place. I highly recommend.

These guy's do the simple things well, not much to ask but often hard to find. Decent Cappuccino along with scrambled eggs with avocado, really tasty. "Shabby chic" styling, just a decent wee cafe and simple honest food. Recommended.

Lovely place to stop for a coffee, we found this on our way to Ocean Terminal. We were greeted with a smile placed our order and took our seat in the corner on the comfy sofas. Coffee, hot chocolate and Danish pastry were delicious. Well worth a look in if your passing.

My boyfriend and I went here wanting a nice afternoon coffee and cake. I have a nut allergy and made sure to ask if there was any nuts in the cake I wanted before ordering. First of all, the guy at the counter had no clue if it had any nuts in it or not. This is obviously forgivable but I had to ask him to go check with the baker, who informed him that it didn't have nuts. I then ordered the cake in good faith and surprise surprise, it had nuts in it. Cue burning mouth and being sick for the rest of the day. I told them I wouldn't be paying for the cake and they apologise and the baker admitted they didn't think walnuts counted as a nut?! Its only in the name! Shockingly poor customer service, I'm lucky I only have a mild allergy because otherwise things could have gotten pretty serious.

Met a couple of friends here for breakfast. The scrambled eggs on toast is unreal. Highly recommend it. The seaside, salmon dish my friends got looked delicious too. Great atmosphere and the waitress was so lovely&helpful. Will definitely be back for more scrambled eggs

I love this cafe so much, the staff are friendly, there is a huge selection to choose from and the interior is wonderfully decorated.

I've been here for a coffee and a sandwich which were delicious, the place is very nice and welcoming. The barista who made me the coffee is such a smiley and sunny soul. Great friendly service. Highly recommended.

Visited for breakfast early on a Saturday morning. Service was quick and staff pleasant. I had the granola which was excellent.

This is a nice space with good food and decent prices. HOWEVER, the owner, who is often there, is outspoken and frankly extremely misogynistic. He has a very loud voice and while trying to relax with a coffee, I could not help overhearing his conversation...

Oqo is a great place, where I feel very warm and welcomed. The staff is lovely, the coffee excellent, and they have a good selection of food, with yummy veggie/vegan options!

Smooth dark coffees, blended teas, home made pastries and bistro plates. Friendly staff, who really seem to care about their fare. The sweet, silky shortbread was worryingly moreish.
