Extremely disappointing experience. The drink itself tasted very artificial and the “popping pearls” tasted almost like perfume packed into a ball, and they had no ice which made the drink even worse. Would not recommend.

Used to come here a lot for a refreshing drink with the family so thought we'd drop in today. It has definitely lost its lustre. The shop hasn't need decorated since it was first opened and is looking really tired. The walls and floor are caked in grime, many items on the menus are unavailable and have bits of paper taped over items. Even the Ooballs that were still showing as available were out of stock when I ordered. The thing that made it worse than all of the above was that one of the female members was sat in the restaurant area with her partner and child and was only going back behind the counter to serve when she really had to. Her family had no drinks or food but were taking up one of the 5 tables available in the shop when there were paying customers waiting to sit. They looked like they had been there for some time and the child was really noisy, kept adding wind and playing hide and seek around the tables. Felt like a dirty day care centre rather than somewhere I'd want to enjoy a peaceful drink. Needs an urgent refurbishment, a better cleaning regime and some hospitality trained staff.

I come here quite often as this is the only bubble tea shop around Cambridge. But very often I am left disappointed with my order. I usually order the milk tea, Pina colada, and Taro and when ask for it ice cold that isn't always the case, it comes out lukewarm. They also nearly always run out of Tapioca pearls, and when they do have them they are hard and not chewy and soft. The quality of the drinks are not consistent sometimes they make the drink too sweet and other times they are just warm. They definitely need another Bubble tea drink shop to be opened in Cambridge who knows what they are doing.

During my first trip to Cambridge, while walking from the hostel to the city centre i kept walking past this colourful shop that was advertising "bubble tea". As an English girl i love tea, but i've never heard of bubble tea. So after walking past the place about 7 times i finally went inside. I walked in sheepishly as i got the counter i realised i had no idea what this was, so what on earth was i going to order?! As i approached the counter i admitted to the girls i had no idea what bubble tea was. They were really nice and walked me through the different things you can order and offered their opinions. With the help of the lovely staff i was able to order a drink and i was impressed with it. I opted for a cold, fruity mango tea with orange jelly bears. It was so refreshing and fun to drink. And only £3.25 for a medium size drink.

I've been going to Ooshi regularly since they opened the first bubble tea shop in Cambridge nearly two years ago. They offer a constantly-expanding selection of flavours and toppings, which are consistently good and reasonably priced. It's also clear that the owners and employees take pride in this independent shop as they frequently redecorate the interior and invent new drinks to celebrate holidays and even staff birthdays. So if you're visiting Cambridge, consider giving Ooshi a try -- it's just as unique as the colleges or punting, and almost certainly more refreshing.

If I have a yearning for a beverage, what leaps to mind is not snot balls in weirdly flavoured liquid. Opinion regarding bubble tea was somewhat polarised in our group but you should probably try it and decide for yourself. I did and once was enough. Whether you should try it at Ooshi in Cambridge is debatable - at the very least the floors needed a good mopping (especially after my six year old's gag reflex kicked in, in response to bubble tea's unique consistency). I suspect that we won't be rushing back to Ooshi or any other peddlers of this strange concoction.

Having ordered a regular Taiwanese Bubble Tea, I was greeted rudely. A colleague behind the counter was publicly complaining that it was too busy and didn't understand why they had to work so hard. 20 minutes later, I still did not receive my bubble tea. They said it was because there were too many people. I looked around, and there were 3 people waiting before me, with small orders. Moreover, hygiene is not their priority either, as gloves were missing when they were handling some of the orders. In a nutshell, if you want to enjoy bubble tea, this is not the place to do it.

Had been here after testing the sample in Grand arcade. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of bubble teas they have. Although I agree that this is not very healthy considering the amount of sugar, I certainly think that it is much better than a starbucks or costa as the base is green tea, assam or Oolong!. I have visited this place a couple of times an have tried the creamy mango , creamy honeydew with mango ooballs, fruity strawberry and milk team with tapioca jelly. The experience was divine and I will be visiting this place every time I'm in town!

This is a bubble tea shop, the phenomenon that started in Taiwan before flying it's way over here. The premise is simple choose your tea, choose your favour, choose your extras, jellys, semolina balls or the lovely balls which squirt a different flavour into your mouth, then choose if you want it hot or cold, ice cubes or slush style. Basically with all the different flavours (there must be hundreds) and all the other ways to customize your drink, there must be millions of combinations and you are bound to find one you like. Both myself and my four year old love coming here as it's fun! PS dont like tea? Don't worry it tastes nothing like it!

I was taken to this place by my student son, try it he says. This is the most weird experience, its like being transformed into a cartoon world. You pick your tea type (its nothing like tea) and add flavoured balls that pop in your mouth, sounds bizzar but strangely works. Very reasonable prices and worth it for the experience. Well worth a visit if you are in Cambridge.
