Amazing place myself and my work mates always come here for lunch and after work drinks for relaxing time All the staff is brilliant very friendly and profesional they are all amazing very kind and caring working very hard We love all the activities they prepare like karaoke on Thursday and life music on Friday it is the best place to go in Sutton

good service, staff are always friendly, great choice of food, Thursdays are always a laugh with Karaoke Thursdays are always good fun and always have a laugh, excellent choice of food aswell, would highly recommend

The nearest pub to the office for a good meal and a nice cold pint of Guinness. Also a fun night out afterword. Karaoke is good

Food is always lovely and comes in big portions, atmosphere is great, they show all the sports, and the staff are always fab and welcoming (shout out to Andrew!)

Great service as always from the team. Drew and rest of the bar staff are very attentive and happy to bring Guinness over to customers rather than have customers wait at the bar for it to settle.

Drew and the rest of the staff are lovely, good food, good live music and great atmosphere. Karaoke is a good laugh don’t miss it.

Booked a table to watch the Six Nations games on Saturday (24th Feb 2024) so it was very busy. The team were all very attentive and the food was again 10/10, as well as there being an amazing amosphere. The team behind the bar (Andrew, Barni, Kerri & Ryan) kept up with the high demand at the bar and worked well as a team to provide efficient service to all customers, including the table service they now offer. As always a fab experience - 5⭐️

Had actually been to a funeral and the wake, and fancied a couple of pints on the way home. Always good fresh beer in O’Neills Sutton, a welcoming face, be it from the landlords Johnny and Emma, Drew or Ryan, or any of the other staff. Didn’t eat in this occasion, but have in the past, and the menu is nice and varied and always tasty. All in all, one of the best pubs in the area!

Popped in to oneills for a couple of drinks and some food after work and luck be have it, it was happy hour. Great choice of food and drinks, great atmosphere and the staff were super friendly.

Where do I start, what a gem, been drinking here for a few years now and it's the best place in Sutton. Guinness is creamy and the bar staff are great. Ryan's a regular friendly face and always greets me and my friends with a smile. I mainly drink in O'Neills but on occasion I'll have some food, love the chicken burger and fries. In summary, if you're looking to make a decision where to go, give O'Neills a go, it gives local pub vibes and there's always some entertainment to be had. 6/5 would recommend to a friend Mick

We had our works xmas do here.. (festive menu) the food was delicious and the service was excellent. Would recommend it.

Has been my go to pub for many yeras considering many other options available. Best Guiness in town. Consistently.

The draught lager is undrinkable , the lines most likely have a yeast infection , an absolute disgrace , clean you beer lines , we won’t be back !

LUNCH with fish and chips was really good, this changed my biased on fish & chips, and I would not mind trying again. Lisa, the staff, was really hospitable and helpful. She recommended a pint of Madri and I had a double. My friend is also highly appreciative of the friendly environ. Cheers.

Very busy due to the womens World Cup, but all the staff were very attentive and friendly, both bar and kitchen. Definitely be back in the future, amazing atmosphere.

Went to O’neils in Winchester last week and the food and staff was amazing, the burger I had was cooked exactly how I had asked and the man who served me called Gabriel was so friendly it made my visit. I will be coming again:) thank you

I often call in here when I'm in Sutton. The pub is spotlessly clean, great beer and good pub food. If you like sport excellent TV screens. The staff are always friendly.

Been a few times now and always had a great time with great service, particularly by Ryan and Carl. The food is great and you can watch most live sports throughout the day! Will be returning again!

Went in for a pint and dinner! Food was great! Pint was delicious! Friendly staff behind the bar! Covid measures are good! I felt safe and secure in the environment! Toilets were sparkling clean! Overall a ten out of ten! Will be going again!

My friends and I came in as we were in the area for a gig, the minute we walked in, we were made to feel extremely welcome and at home. We had the pleasure of meeting Ryan, who was nothing short of amazing. This guy typifies hospitality. He was on point in everything he did. We didn't feel overwhelmed, he didn't come to the table every five minutes asking if everything was ok, he just let us enjoy our experience. The guy is top drawer and does his job extremely well. If he's not a supervisor, he damn well should be. He's got legend status by just being himself. Whenever I'm in Sutton next, I'm coming here just for Ryan's level of service, his energy and attention to detail. Ryan is a rock star.

I called in today and enjoyed a nice lunch and lovely coffee. The pub is very clean and Covid safe. You can order via an app if that suits you. The venue has several very good quality TV's so looks a great venue for sport. The burger was excellent and service very good.

Bar far the best pub in Sutton. Every member of staff are welcoming and go the extra mile to make sure you enjoy the whole visit. From socialising over a quick beer or watching one of the many sporting events they show on the screens around the pub you go can’t go wrong. Check it out!

I have not always been able to work from home and have found solitary and warmth at O'Neills, Sutton. Elaine, Emma and the team are on a first name basis with me as I come in and although take lunch - also cheekily take their wifi for half a day at a time!They deserve recognition for making me feel at home and providing incredible service, it's not a word that can be floated around easily to summarise the quality of service everywhere.The team are really great and wanted to thank them.

Visited O'Neill's yesterday for lunch with family. We were warmly greeted by Elaine who remembered us from our previous visit (great memory!). We were made to feel very welcome and were seated quickly. The service was great, the food was delicious and we were surprised at the excellent quality of the meals. I would highly recommend this pub, it has a really lovely atmosphere and the staff go above and beyond to make this a very lovely experience! True Irish charm!!

Had a lovely afternoon here this Sunday, a warm welcome and felt very clean and safe with all of the new restrictions in place. Food and service was excellent at a very reasonable price and this is the best Guinness in the area. We will be back.

Booked a table for 2 for nibbles and drinks early on Saturday evening, good job we booked as tables were pretty much full all evening. Not really surprising though, as the excellent friendly team at O'Neills are managing a great balance between following the Covid rules so we are all safe whilst managing to create a great atmosphere and provide a quick and efficient service. Actually loving the table service !

I have been visiting here for a number of years, and the changes put in place to comply with Covid are very reassuring and to a high standard.Cleaning takes place regularly, mask wearing is enforced at relevant times and seating is spaced and allocated to ensure distancing, it is good you must do track and trace before you enter.Above all I have an enjoyable evening even in these changed times and the team are all welcoming as always.

Came here for a quiet pint and a read of a book. I have to say these are very Covid safe.. Better than most i have visited. You have to download the NHS app and scan in. You are politely shown the hand gel, shown to your table and the one way system was explained. You have to wear a mask where moving around the pub but not when seatwd. Orders taken at the table or via an app. Ryan and team were so polite and helpful and i didnt feel as though i shouldnt be here. A very calm, relaxed and safe time in this place. Well done Ryan ans team.

My partner and myself have been coming here for the last five years. Staff are always friendly and the prices are very reasonable. We would recommend the burgers. We were delighted at how the bar has adapted to Covid, we feel very safe coming here. Very close to the station also after a few drinks.

Karl(apologies if I spelt it wrong) and the team are the most welcoming and professional bunch.If you're feeling unease regarding having a few in the local during covid you should go O'Neills. Everything is done beyond good measure and to the highest standard. And its great f**kin' craic as well!!

Great family friendly pub and a good night out with the boys. They always help my Grandad out and give excellent customer service. Great food for a reasonable price. They show all sports and events on the multiple screens they have. Highly recommend.

We live closely and are regulars here. The food is always delicious and the staff even better. Carl is a great guy who always remembers our order and has great banter just like everyone else who works there. Would always recommend and always feel welcome. My partner is a sport addict and always gets a great view with the big screens and the individual screen tables!

First time back out to O’neill’s since the lockdown yesterday. A proper warm welcome back. Elaine, John and Carl were on top form as usual. Already booked my table for next week for the game. The chicken bacon and avocado burger was 10/10. Highly recommend that if you’re their for lunch or dinner. Good to have the pub back open!!

Has to be the best pub in Sutton bar far. The whole team are always friendly and certainly know how to make you feel welcome. Today is my first visit since the pub reopened and I’m really impressed at how in these uncertain times the team have adapted to make the environment feel really safe in a professional manner whilst not taking away from the great atmosphere the pub always has. Always recommend this pub as a place to visit but with how the reopening has been handled I will more than ever recommend the pub as a nice and safe place to visit. See you again soon!

I have been coming here for years, lovely management and great staff...'Lisa' behind the bar is such an asset to the place!...Went to pop in after Covid situ today, and found an horrendeous woman 'on the door'. SO unprofessonal, rude, obnoxious....terrible experience before I even got in the place. Just VERY unprofessional!....Needless to say I quickly changed my mind - and went to the bar next to Waterstones in the end. Much more professional and pleasant customer service! Never seen that woman before - Please get rid of her -she will cost you SO much business!! Horrendous experience overall sorry to say.
