We were pleasantly surprised to find how quiet our stay here was, especially since our 2nd night’s stay was during England’s semifinal match against the Netherlands in the Euro Cup. The location of this pub with rooms is only a few minutes walk from Farringdon Station, a very busy area with connections to ThamesLink, Elizabeth Line & the London Underground. The pub is actually located on a small side street that doesn’t have much foot or vehicle traffic which also helped with the quietness. Check-in was very quick & easy. Our room was ready when we arrived early and the young man who checked us in helped with our heaviest piece of luggage. There is no elevator and the steps are steep and narrow. We were on the 2nd floor, 2 flights of stairs up with a separate entrance from the pub. There was a nice little goodies basket in our room with free snacks and some water bottles in the mini fridge. Our stay also included a 10% discount in the pub on the ground floor. The size of our room, bed & bathroom were more than adequate for us. Overall a very comfortable feel to the pub & room. The only problem we had was that the in-room safe didn’t work. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at The One Tun. It's near Farringdon Station and 10 minutes away from St Pancras Station. The room (2) was spacious. The bed was large and very comfortable. The separate bath/shower room was spacious too. Friendly staff. The diner in the pub was tasteful. Great place to have a drink.

Great accommodation. Quirky accommodation two minutes from a tube station. Wonderfully comfortable and quiet rooms. The only downside was the narrow and steep staircase to the bedrooms. That was only a minor though and did add to the experience (of note to those with mobility issues there is no lift and the stairs are steep).

Great little place! Nice atmosphere, good beers & really tasty food at very reasonable prices, especially for London. Staff were all really friendly. Will be going back next time I’m working up there & recommended to my daughter who recently moved to London as a good place to go for a night out with friends.

Contacted in advance to confirm my teenage son would be allowed to stay until 9, and that they’d be showing the Fulham v Newcastle game, all good, Table reserved was perfect for the big screen, very friendly young man behind the bar, decent choice of beers and good value for money, Would definitely call in again.

We had a lovely stay at The One Tun recently. It's in an excellent location, approximately two minutes' walk from Farringdon Tube & Rail Station, which was great. Our room (room 2) was spacious, beautifully decorated and well equipped, with complimentary good quality teas & coffees (plus fresh milk which is always appreciated!), bottled water and chocolate. The bed was large and comfortable. The ensuite bath/shower room was spacious too with a good range of complimentary toiletries as well as a dressing gown and slippers provided. Friendly, helpful service from the staff and nothing was too much trouble - thank you!

Really comfortable and big bed in a spacious and well equipped room. It’s a great location too. Shame we didn’t have time to try your food - we will have to come again!

My son and I absolutely loved our three night stay at The One Tun! It was spectacularly clean. We felt very safe and secure. The interior design is unique and beautiful. Our room was exceptionally spacious with grand high ceilings. We had the most comfortable twin beds. The pillows and linens were excellent. The bathroom was absolutely gorgeous. Housekeeping is done daily. The room always felt so fresh and was lovely to return to after long days out. The stairs are steep but well worth the effort. Tina warmly welcomed us and showed us straight to our room. She clearly explained everything and we immediately felt so happy we had chosen to stay there. Whenever we saw Tina she was so friendly and the rest of the staff were lovely too. The pub itself is quintessentially English and popular, attracting locals and office workers. We could hear the quiet, pleasant hum of people having a good time which made us feel part of a big cosmopolitan city. The pub closes at 10.30pm and then it was completely quiet. We twice walked the 10 minutes or so to Grainger & Co Clerkenwell and it was fantastic. The One Tun is in a nice, busy part of London and super easy to get around. Just a very short walk from Farringdon tube station and so close to bus stops. We prefer the bus and every ride was great. There was always seats available and the buses seemed like they were brand new as they were so clean and comfortable. For travellers like us who want to stay in old pubs with a fascinating history, wonderful rooms and friendly staff this is an excellent choice.

Good spot to stay. Check in was fast and easy—you check in at the bar. The One Tun is very close to the train station—about a 1.5 minute walk! Staff is quick to reply to an email, which is awesome when traveling. The rooms are above the bar—there is no elevator. Not a big deal if you’re ok with stairs. Of note: the bar is in the financial area so there’s a lively after work crowd, but during the week, the neighborhood bars close around 11pm. A few are open until midnight but it’s definitely a business suit crowd. The food was good at the bar and there’s a nice local beer selection. As for the room, it’s a little on the smaller side but very clean and well appointed. They provide 2 bottles of water and a little chocolate bar as a welcome gift. Staff was super nice and check out was easy. Recommended!

We spent two nights in The One Tune room number 4. Very large and cosy room, lovely and well equipped. Even if the rooms are above the pub, it’s quiet after the closing at 11:00 p.m. I recommend The One Tun and Farringdon and Clerckenwell areas are amazing

We had a lovely stay a the One Tun. Brilliant location near Farringdon Tube station. Room was immaculate, super clean, really nice bathroom and very comfy bed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. No lift but apart from that it was perfect. We didn't get a chance to eat there but it sounded delicious. We'd definitely go back and highly recommend.

This was our first time in London coming from the states and The One Tun ended up being a great place to stay!! The staff was extremely friendly and let us drop our bags when we arrived before our room was ready. The service was also impressive, every day they left us new water/snacks/towels/coffee pods and cleaned the room. The pub downstairs was lively, especially during the week since it is located in a business district and many seemed to stop after work for a few pints. It was pretty loud until around 10-11, but we figured as much when we booked it. The location wasn’t the best it could be for central London, but there is a train station right across the street and you could still walk to many places. The only thing that could’ve made the stay better would be a full breakfast included, since many days we had to go elsewhere to grab a bite to start the day! Overall though The One Tun was perfect for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay’

We were looking for Thai and I had researched the One Tun, didn’t disappoint! Food was delicious and being a pub / restaurant the atmosphere was great, not formal, more of a pub experience. Definitely recommend the reddang curry, was lovely.

El olor de los aseos de caballeros impregnaba todo el pub, que estaba muy ocupado increíblemente, así que salimos directamente. Nos alojamos en el hotel y también comimos en el restaurante y la comida era deliciosa! Las camas son muy cómodas y tuvimos una gran estancia. También pedimos el desayuno y disfrutamos. La ubicación es excelente, ya que es fácil viajar en metro o a pie. Recomiendo altamente este hotel.

We stayed in their rooms above so ate here for lunch one day. It's wonderful and we wished we had ate here more. Very good flavors. Had the dumpling appetizer and burnt pork.

One of the best pubs around this area. Never have to wait and the bar staff are amazing - shout out to Carlos, Anush and Carmen! The food is also excellent. Can't recommend enough!

Found this Pub/B&B; because of its proximity to The Crypt as we had to attend a wedding reception there. During our stay on a Saturday night the surrounding area was very quiet. Did not eat at the pub for obvious reasons but our room (No: 6) which was on the top floor was a superb room despite being in an old building. It was a very modern, clean and spacious room with a comfortable bed. It had a fridge, safe, tea/coffee, biscuits, water etc and the information pack was well put together. The bathroom was compact but immaculate with a large shower. We had a little difficulty with the heating controls but soon mastered them. I can forgive the fact that we only had one cup and we were pre-warned about the stairs so cannot complain at all. If we were in the area again we would definitely stay here.

The One Tun has great spacious rooms in a lovely traditional building, over a lovely traditional pub, they are well fitted out, warm and cozy. The check was also efficient.

Over our stay at the rooms upstairs we had 3 entrees and 3 starters and I honestly don’t think you can go wrong with any choice. It’s all good. Great beer and cider too. Highly recommend!

Delicious food, great service and reasonably priced. I was part of a group of 15 people on a busy Friday night, food was served quickly and received rave reviews from everyone in the party. We also received 15 complementary Bailey's - definitely recommend!

Went for a few drinks and decided to order food and when it arrived, I was really impressed. They have an Asian chef so its a pan Asian menu. Pad thai was one of the best I've had. The young bartender (male dark hair) working on a weds night was delivering great customer service. Will recommend and return! Great night.

I had one meeting nearby. All other hotels around full up. I made the reservation there not sure it was "my type" (I usually stay in fairly high-end hotels). Arrival in a pub youngish atmosphere; very warm welcome; nice staff and a surprisingly nice room with absolutely everything you need, including an espresso machine; large bathroom with a bathtub. The pub itself closes at 11 p.m. so, no pb with noise if you are not an early sleeper. London is expensive then, good value for money.

We (my wife and I) often pop into the One Tun on a Saturday evening as we meet our daughter nearby. This time we decided to get to the pub earlier than usual so that we could take advantage of their Saturday deal - 50% off food. We had prawn tom yum soup, a sharing meat platter, tempura tiger prawns (with a dip) and (Thai) French fries (with a dip). It was more than we could eat - all for under £16! It was all good but the tempura prawns were delicious. It is a nice friendly pub and not too crowded (whenever we have been there). There are several TV's showing sport around the walls.

The best Chinese/Thai food I've had in the UK! Hand down! I have been to Thailand a numerous amount of times and visited here on Saturday with my partner and all I can say is everything we tried we loved & will be returning VERY soon. Also forgot to mention but when arriving Saturday we found out that there is 50% off all food on Saturdays which just made the night really. I think all in all ended up costing about £60 and we had way too much food but glad to experience many different dishes.

Stayed here with my daughter as we were going to the theatre..cant fault this place..the hotel has a seperate entrance at the side of the pub which gives privacy..the room was just perfect and after the heat of the day had wonderful air con which was much needed..beautiful luxurious bathroom..just one point could do with a full length mirror for us ladies to use..pub is warm and friendly and chilled

Comfy seating, relaxing atmosphere and nice beers. Often looks very crowded as people tend to congregate around the main entrance but it is usually much quieter inside. Great location for a couple of beers after work.

The Pad Thai was particularly good. It comes with chilis which were placed together and so easy to pick out if that’s too hot for you. The crispy duck pancakes are also tasty. Service at lunchtime was fast: food came in 10 minutes or less.

Llegamos por Super y encontrar el pub era desafiante en estrechas callejuelas y cortes de tráfico. Saludo cálido y acogedor. Nos llevaron a nuestra habitación en la planta 2ª, escalera estrecha y empinada, pero bien para dos en forma de 60+ años. Decoración moderna en las escaleras con fotos. Preciosa habitación con un montón de espacio, más grande que he estado en Londres. Cama king size dos sillones grandes armario con caja fuerte y nevera. Buen Suministro de té, café, galletas, papas fritas, nueces, chocolate y agua. Aire acondicionado. Baño super grande, con lluvia y ducha de mano en el baño. Buen Gusto en todo. Trabajo actualmente edificio de al lado, pero no afectó a una estancia tranquila y agradable. Uno de los hoteles más tranquilos en el que nos hemos hospedado. Muy cerca de la estación de Farringdon.

No había estado aquí desde que me he jubilado casi hace 3 años. El pub ha sido bellamente restaurado y el menú ha cambiado para ofrecer una gama más amplia de platos del Lejano Oriente, pero la calidad y el precio es tan bueno como siempre. Mi gyoza pollo eran ligeramente crujientes por fuera y tenía carne tierna encantador picante. La carne rendang era exactamente como debe ser, una vez más picante pero no demasiado caliente. Mis amigos todos disfrutamos de sus comidas demasiado aunque uno dijo que el pad thai le faltaba punch.

Nos alojamos aquí por 5 noches en febrero y nos encantó. Las habitaciones están muy bien y el personal que por favor. Hay un montón de café en la habitación, así como la leche y el agua potable. Cada vez que necesitábamos más agua, preguntamos en el pub y que felizmente obligado. Por la 3ª día, ponen agua extra en nuestra habitación cada día!

This is a little gem. Walked in on a Wednesday night and it was great. Delicious dumplings to start and the mains were fantastic. The roti was like a fine buttery pastry for my curry.

No disfrutar de una comida con descuento en su pub, el recepcionista y bien que estaba a una corta distancia a pie. El personal era muy servicial y amable, y nos ayudó a subir el equipaje por las escaleras. Sin duda lo recomiendo!

We only had one night as we were flying back home to Australia the next day, but as I had also stayed at their sister hotel/pub earlier in the month, The Clerk & Well, I now wished I booked here instead. It's so close to Farringdon Station that getting there with luggage is a breeze. The staff were really friendly and helped get my heavy bag up the stairs to our room. As we were done with sightseeing, we just went down to the pub for dinner and enjoyed the lamb rendang curry and sizzling beef dishes, we then retired to our room and watched Netflix! The rooms are so funky and the bed really comfy. The only thing you need is an eyemask as the blinds are set away from the window so that the street light filters in. Given the location, it's extremely quiet - they have seriously soundproofed the windows!If I end up back in London, I will happily book myself in here again.

It was a fantastic room – you can hear quite a bit – including the pub and music below, coughing, etc, but the size of the room, bed and overall décor and little extras are awesome. Only real negative is that the stairs are very steep and coming down with luggage was a bit tricky, but made it and I will definitely stay here again. Just one little suggestion – perhaps you can provide some simple instructions when you check in about how to use the shower – it was a little bit complicated – finally got it in the end, but as a first timer – might be good to have a quick lesson! :-)Really looking forward to my next stay and thanks for everything.

We spent a week in London headquartered from the rooms above the pub. As others have said, there isn't a lift and the stairs are steep, but the room was lovely, and the bathroom wonderful. You can't beat being a few hundred feet from a major Underground station in Farringdon and it made getting around the city easy. It was less than a half mile to Fleet St and all that was available there.We'd definitely return to the pub, it's a gem and a neat way to recreate an authentic London visit.

Came here a couple weeks ago with a large group of friends.Thai food was fantastic. Between 8 hungry guys we were able to enjoy a large number of items on the menu. Clean plates all round, we ended up ordering extras of 2-3 dishes such as the lamb neck. Service was friendly and prompt too. Overall great to have a excellent new Thai place to depend on in Central London!

My wife & I just spent a week at The One Tun and couldn't have asked for a better home away for home except for the lack of a lift and very steep stairs. The room was extremely comfortable and well stocked with snacks, water, coffee, wifi, etc (all included). The staff was wonderful and couldn't do enough to make sure our stay was indeed successful. The location is great with very easy access to Central London and we even took the Underground to/from Heathrow with only having to transfer once. The pub and Thai food is just icing on the cake. Good value and very tasty. I had the £10 menu where you have a main and drink (wine/beer). Fast service and nice staff. The crispy duck was really lovely with enough pancake and filling.

I am ashamed to say I never leave reviews but my stay at The One Tun has changed that. My stay was perfect after a long day at a conference I just needed to relax. The staff were welcoming and couldn't do enough for me. I rang down for room service and the most delicious Thai meal arrived about 10 mins later. The difference for me were the little things- Netflix,ITV catch up, fluffy towels an iron & ironing board ( I didn't have to call down stairs for it) There were crisps in my room and lovely coffee. The bed was huge and really comfortable and the room felt like a suite. Thank you so much and I hope to come back with my husband and eat in the pub.

The One Tun Pub has an excellent location near the Farrington underground station. The rooms are small but decorated with style and are perfectly clean and well maintained. Staff has been very kind and the food was great at the restaurant downstairs.You have access to the clerkenweel llocal lifestyle nearby while the location is very quiet and far form the tourist busy city streets. For us, it was a well hidden treasure and we recommend it for a stay in London.

I have 0 complaints about my stay at the One Tun. I stayed here for several nights. The bed was comfortable; the room was well kept & clean. The bathrooms were gorgeous & clean as well. Snacks, water, & milk is available in the room. The room we stayed in was quiet despite being above a pub (even if the pub was busy). Staff was friendly & helpful. We were able to get an early check in & recover from a nasty case of jet lag no problem! They even offered to store our luggage before and after checkout. The pub has easy access to the underground & the rest of London. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

We stopped at the One Tun for the weekend and the accommodation was of a high standard, spacious, bright and modern. A great location to use as a base to explore London and very near the Farringdon underground (5min walk). I would recommend and will stop there again when visiting the capital.

Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated with excellent facilities. Complimentary tea and coffee and fresh milk with choice of nibbles too. Bathroom nicely done and very clean. We were fortunate to have the roof balcony which made it extra special. Optional breakfast in your room although there are plenty of choices for breakfast nearby. Will be recommending to friends and family. Thank you for a great stay!

Soggiornando nelle camere sopra al pub abbiamo pensato di provare anche la loro cucina per uno spuntino/aperitivo. Abbiamo preso degli ottimi involtini primavera, croccantissimi e per niente unti, birra e un cocktail davvero gustoso (il Plum Spritz). Super consigliato!

I was attending a conference in Hatton Garden and found the One Tun online as I needed to stay overnight. What a little gem, a historic and charming pub which serves great Asian food and also some lovely cocktails - the Lavender Collins was great! My room was on the third floor, so a bit of a climb, but my luggage was carried up for me and the exercise up and down the stairs was good exercise, although i guess not too good if you have mobility issues. The room was exceptionally clean, very well equipped and nice and quiet (probably being on the top floor helped). The decor is modern and charming and the pub itself a very typical London pub. The best thing about this place, apart from the comfortable rooms, is the friendliness and happiness of all the staff. They can't do enough for you and seem to be genuinely pleased to help - makes such a difference. forgot to say that the food in the pub was very yummy and reasonably priced too. If I was looking for downsides, then aprt from the stairs, I would say that I could have done with more milk in the room so that I could have had more than just one cup of tea/coffee. The windows were sash ones and there was no way to make them stay open so it did make for a rather stuffy, hot night but thats maybe because I'm used to sleeping with the windows open and i live in the countryside. All in all though, a real find and i shall definitely stay here again if I need to be in this part of the city again. Thank you One Tun, I enjoyed my time with you.

I just spent 4 days in London and I miss it so much. What I like about it is also the One Tun!The position of One Tun is very central: you can reach very easily Farringdon Station (it's behind the corner), just few minutes far from Liverpool Station by tube. As the pub closes not so late, you can enjoy quite and silence inside your room. My room were bright and spacious, the attendants very polite and the cleaning service so tidy! I enjoyed my stay at One Tune, and sure I will suggest it to my friends who are going to visit London!

Looks like a lovely traditional pub but serves amazing Thai food. Service great, food beautiful, price very reasonable. Seems a popular place for a work lunch.

We were doing a Course in the Hatton Garden area, and luckily found the One Tun for our two night stay. It was perfectly located, with parking (NCP) right on the doorstep. The room was immaculate, quiet and the beds were heaven. All the tea/coffee making facilities were great, and there was a fridge for fresh milk - brilliant touch. I'd stay here again no problem, the pub and staff were lovely. Brilliant find.

We have just returned from an overnight stay at The One Tun - the rooms are immaculate, modern, contemporary with all you need for an extremely comfortable stay - best nights sleep we've ever had in London! A bonus was how quiet it was, the pub was actually closed last weekend during our stay, so no noise whatsoever - would highly recommend. I have not rated food, as we did not eat here, due to the pub being closed, but the menu looked really good.

We came here for a work lunch and I absolutely loved the food! I've never had Asian food in a British pub before so this was definitely a great experience - very well prepared and cosy interior as well! Would recommend!

I knew this Dikensian pub in the 1980's and its conversion into a boutique hotel is very well done. We turned up early for check in and the reception could not have been nicer finding a table for us in the buzzy restaurant for a very good meal. We walked to the Barbican to see a production. Next day, after a good nights sleep, we took a Dickensian walk to Doughty Street for the Dickens Museum and took a peek at the Old Curiosity Shop on our way back to the station. All in all a great place to stay.

Always lovely to come back to the One Tun. Rooms are beautiful, nice bathrooms and great room service for dinner even on a staff only night at the pub. Will definitely come back.

What a lovely room we had, I was so surprised at how much space we had, was a beautiful room and a lovely shower too. I will definitely be using the One Tun again and will recommend to others.
