Fantastic Chip shop reminds me of good old fashioned Fish & Chips & curry sauce, I would highly recommend. Prices are fare its very clean and lovely staff. I will definitely be going again. Thank you Olympus 😋🤓🥳

This is a gem! So underrated but honestly so damn good. The fish and chips are just badass, they are so original and can’t be competed with thus far. They aren’t Halal yet there is no cross contamination with their food, so you can have their Fish and Chips

This has been our local for the past 5 years or so. Their level of hygiene is second to none and you can tell they put serious effort into keeping everything clean. The quality of their food is great too and the staff are friendly.

Wow this is now our new go to. Years ago we loved the Original Pineapple chippy and now the new owners have it even better. Absolutely delicious food. We spent £26 trying a bit of everything and absolutely EVERYTHING was perfect!! Prices are fair too!!

Food was decent for what it was. I hadn't enjoyed chips for a very long time and this time I did. As far as atmosphere goes it's a fish and chip shop so always very basic but the place was very clean

Been going here for years portion sizes are ridiculously small now and prices are constant going up and sizes reducing dramatically it’s not worth the money at all! Every time I go I get different sizes smaller and smaller.

This chip shop is my local and was really good untill a few months ago when the portion sizes have become ridiculously small, a £3 “Large” chips now resembles a cone with a few extra chips absolutely not worth the money in todays climate. Sadly will not be going there anymore

This Chip Shop is the worst I have ever been to in my whole life the fish was stale must’ve been yesterdays and then the steak and kidney pie was rock hard when I say rock hard I mean rock hard on edible and chips disgusting🤮🤮🤮 This is the worst place l have ever been to!! When l called to Complain the young lady was rude on the phone and hang up on me they will never get my money again never

Food warm not tasty at all went at 5.45pm service was very unfriendly and close to being rude.....won't go there again.

I happened to be passing and decided to order a small chips to make the (hopefully) perfect accompaniment to a reheated curry at home. As small accompaniments go, it was pretty big, but certainly didn't disappoint. The chips were hot, of varying size (suggesting hand, or close to hand-cut), completely cooked through and not in the slightest bit oily or greasy. My friendly and efficient server also seasoned the chips to perfection. A much bigger and more famous chippy in the area doesn't do chips half as good as these. Give them your custom in these difficult times and fill yer boots!

They cook the best Fish and Chips. When ever we go there we always ask for freshly cooked and they don't mind. They look after us when ever we are there. I certainly recommend this shop. Thank you Olympus Fish shop. Regards Georgette O'Neill

Very Impressed,fish batter was light and the chips were excellent.Thats not easy because it doesnt happen everywhere.So it isn't just open the door and fire up the fryer.Fish & Chips in a box I definitely think helps for a takeaway and not saturating the food,a bag would be cheaper but doesn't work as well.Ill be back !

Absolutely appalling behaviour from staff. Stood there a long time, waiting for any attention. The lovely lady at the till was too busy chatting away with her friends, didn't give a damn about her customers waiting to be served. And the two blokes just stared away in the distance totally trying to avoid eye contact or showing any willingness to serve the customers. Safe to say I won't be going there again. And I hope that management at Olympus takes this seriously. 👎👎👎

Friendly staff, nice chips and large portions. Fish is soggy and greasy though and some items are a bit overpriced in my opinion

My favourite chippy. It's changed hands once or twice over the years but has been consistently good over the 20+ years I've been going there

Chips were cold and not very tasty

Got food poisoning. We ordered from here on Tuesday 12 July - We only came here because Broad Lane Chippy was closed and boy do I regret it. I was served by a friendly lady who apologised for the wait which wasn't actually that long but I appreciated the courtesy. I ordered a large portion of chips with a portion of chicken meat. My wife, my son and one my daughters were content with making chip butties so I shared the chicken with my other daughter - she ate very little because she said there was too much fat. I ate the rest of it. Within 2 hours we both had diarrhoea. No sickness though. Bear in mind we had eaten cous cous for lunch that day - so this was undoubtedly the chicken from Olympus Fish Bar. This was our first visit to this place and will certainly be our last. Seeing another comment on here about the food being kept overnight, seems to be from an inside source - maybe a previous employee? This place should be investigated.

Kebab meat frozen over night and rewarmed next morning battered fish is also scraped and redone you will taste the difference and unsold pies, sausages and chicken are redone and sold next day ppl have complained but are given vauge answers a couple got food poisoning and food safety certificates were given by manager it needs to be throughiy investigated.
