Another fabulous meal, always perfectly cooked. So nice to go to a proper family run restaurant.

As usual, thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The chicken gyros was especially good.

Lovely place, servers, and the owners are really friendly, with amazing customer service, delicious food, and a nice atmosphere. 100% recommended for everyone.

We visited this restaurant based on the previous reviews. We weren't disappointed. It was very quiet as it was a Sunday night. The food and the service were excellent. We certainly recommend this restaurant and will return sometime in the future.

Excellent cuisine, very welcoming environment, the waiter welcomed us in a very hospitable way, you can see that he is a guy with a lot of enthusiasm and desire to do things. Good luck see you soon when I return to Tirana!

Nice Albanian resteraunt in Harrogate and reasonably priced. Great atmosphere with host presume owner interacting with customers A double gin and tonic with a choice of gins included the flavoured gins at 9.50 was nice. The chicken cacciatore is a good dish, nice authentic resteraunt 10 min walk from convention centre

Oliveta is a lovely family run restaurant with good food and great service. The Albanian menu brings flavours familiar to those who have eaten Greek or central European food.

Excellent restaurant in the town centre. Welcoming staff, lovely service and wonderful hearty food (goulash and roasted aubergine) you won't be disappointed eating here. Highly recommended if you are visiting Harrogate.

Oliveta is a fantastic family run restaurant that looked after our party of 14 superbly on a busy Thursday night. The food is authentic and first class and the portion sizes are generous. Highly recommended if you’re staying in Harrogate.

Easy booking & confirmation online with this restaurant. This was our first visit to this family-owned, extremely pleasant, restaurant. First Course: Calamari Fritti & Speca te mbushur Ve; all fresh ingredients, nicely presented. Main: Traditional tave kosi & Lamb leg roast fshati; both dishes nicely cooked, and presented. We drank a very good house red wine from Puglia Italy. The staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The food delicious and the atmosphere relaxed. Really recommend a visit to this restaurant for honest, well cooked food and wine.

Great place for fantastic food and the very best of hospitality. Highly recommend for the best of fresh flavoured food and service. Relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Lamb leg roast fshati and smoked salmon farfelle were faultless. The highest compliments to chef and daughter, and team. A place not to be missed.

First visit and definitely not the last! A birthday lunch. We had the Traditional tave kosi and Perime Zgare & Haloumi, both really really flavoursome and good portions. The variety of olives in the olive starter was really great. All in all a very good visit with great service too.

Booked here last minute and so pleased we did. Food is amazing. Would definitely recommend the lamb shank, served with a fantastic broth full of flavour. The homemade baklava was one of the best I’ve had! Service was excellent and very friendly atmosphere. Will certainly be back soon.

Two of us visited this evening and enjoyed a really fabulous meal. A outstanding family run business, it’s really comfortable and so well presented. The food and service was top notch. There are plenty of choices on the menu. I recommend the Albanian stuffed peppers with beef and vegetables to start and the King prawn risotto. Thanks guys. We’ll bring the family when revisit Harrogate.

the food here is amazing, it’s the best authentic albanian food you can have outside of albania :) the staff are so so friendly and welcoming, i heavily recommend! the lamb also was cooked to perfection, will definitely come again and order more next time im in harrogate

Pretty good food, as authentic as it gets in the UK, plus you have the chance to try out Albanian dishes which are not as popular as other cuisines in the UK. Relaxed environment and friendly service too. :)

What a beautiful place☺️the food was so wonderful and fresh and tasty with a fantastic value for money. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the music and decor is on point for a Mediterranean restaurant and the service was so friendly and warm. I would definitely recommend, you will not be sorry, it is lovely place. We will most certainly be returning!!

My wife booked this restaurant for a family gathering to celebrate my 60th birthday and I have to say she couldn't have chosen better. The owner is an absolute gentleman and made us very welcome, the restaurant is beautifully presented and is a lovely environment to eat in. Between us (4 generations, from young children to my parents) we tried a wide variety of starters and main courses and the food was superb. I had the tave kosi as I'd not tried it before and I wasn't disappointed as it was absolutely delicious. The house red and white wines are Italian wines and really good quality. We will certainly be returning in the near future.

Delicious food, exceptional service, clean, warm atmosphere. We had, stuffed peppers with beef to start with then Sea-bass as main and Rovani dessert.

Last minute booking whilst visiting Harrogate for the weekend and really couldn't have been more pleased. Staff were lovely, friendly and attentive, food, which is a mix of Albanian and Mediterranean was absolutely delicious. The baklava we had for dessert was juicy and packed with nuts, nicest I've ever tasted.

What a lovely place for a meal, we where greeted by a wonderful attentive manger who made our evening feel special, the service, staff and food great it made for a nice evening as we frequently visit Harrogate we had tried many restaurants here. But this was a very special meal. We almost felt part of the family here. 10 out of 10 all round. I had lamb chops they where marvellous, so tender i didn't had to chew. My better half had Gyros it was well cooked to her taste. Drinks reasonable and staff great.

Me and my fiancé came to Harrogate for a weekday away and was recommend this restaurant. I'm so glad we followed the recommendations. The food was incredible. The staff were absolutely fantastic, friendly and in truth, would take another 200 mile trip just to visit again for the food and service. Great place, and food, good portion size as well. Lunch from the al la carte menu, two courses for two with wine £70. The service was very friendly, and not at all rushed. Will return and would recommend.

Discoverd this place by chance. Extremely delighted with my find. A really warm welcome from the delightful Albanian family. Made to feel special. Nice spacious and very clean establishment. Sadly I was at work and only had time for one course. I chose the Sea Bass as a main. Superb "pretty as a picture" presentation and so delicious. Exactly how I like my food to appear and taste. Must come back another time to really appreciate this wonderful restaurant. They deserve to do well.

Visited this restaurant after reading the fantastic reviews. The place was spotless, host was great and food was delicious. My picky 4 year old ate his way through a full basket of bread and dips (unheard of) ! Lovely place, we would have returned the following evening if we weren’t scheduled to return home.

We ate here on NYE 2023/24. The food is uncomplicated but perfect, very fresh and Mediterranean. What makes it is the welcoming family vibe. From the welcome at the start to the many goodbyes and happy new years at the end it exuded friendliness and goodwill. Dad is the manager and front of house, mum in the kitchen, and daughter waitressing. Such lovely people. Who knew this place even existed? Not me. We’re going back for sure.

We visited here one Saturday evening after the seeing the positive reviews and it certainly lived up to the hype! The welcome was friendly as soon as we arrived and we were seated at a table in the front of the dining area. It’s nice that the tables aren’t too cramped together and the table itself was spacious enough for a couple. The service of drinks was really fast, and remained so when getting refills throughout the meal which was fantastic. The menu is a good size and has a nice mix of traditional Mediterranean dishes as well as some more recognisable options. The stuffed pepper with beef starter was sizeable and really tasty. The king prawn starter had a very good chilli kick, although the white wine sauce seemed more tomato to me, and an extra ciabatta slice would have been welcome, but was also very delicious. The main Greek gyros dish was again sizeable with succulent meat, and the traditional tave kosi was impressive, with the lamb tender as promised. Service time was quick, presentation great and the two courses filling. We still decided to sample the tiramisu though and it rounded everything off perfectly with more decent presentation. The whole atmosphere is cosy and enjoyable, as well as being in keeping with the style of food on offer. The service from all the members of staff was great and it was a very enjoyable evening. A lovely restaurant and I’d highly recommend!

Found this restaurant with good reviews on TA and Google Maps. Booked a table ahead of time, but when we arrived we were the only two customers for quite a while on a quiet Wednesday evening. So it’s safe to say that ambience was a bit lacking. The restaurant was clean and organized. The food was nice although I can’t really place where its origin is. There were all sorts of items from Albania and other Mediterranean regions. Sadly my colleague decided to have a quarrel with me in the middle of the meal🤣. Hope to return to this restaurant next time under better circumstances.

Our visit to Oliveta was excellent.. Kolin was a fabulous host, food and wine were delicious. If we lived local this would be our go to restaurant but sadly I can only highly recommend it for others to enjoy!

We found this delightful restaurant on visiting Harrogate for a long weekend. The best hospitality from the family owners, three courses of wonderful food and drinks. The most disgusting dining experience of my life in Harrogate, I was presented with a dish that was supposed to be authentic Greek dish. Lol. It was a plate of reheated chicken and chips (flashed under a grill), not a very nice or well cooked...

This is a great, family-run restaurant with an interesting menu based around mediterranean food. We both chose Albananian main dishes which were delicious. The lamb in particular was outstanding. Wine selection was good. Very attentive and friendly service from the owner. Not many people in on a rainy Wednesday night but the warm welcome soon made us feel at home. Thoroughly recommended.
