District Bar in Harrogate

A must visit! I went with a couple of friends for a few casual beers and something to eat. The mushroom and truffle oil pizza was delicious, washed down with a couple of European lagers. Great staff who clearly love their job and the owners are very welcoming. Perfectly done 👌

Loved this little bar, well mainly the cocktails. They were very well made, loved the Pornstar martini - think it was Dan? and really nice atmosphere in the place.

Visited this bar on my birthday, after a recommendation by a friend. What a little gem! Despite it being a Tuesday evening there were 4 groups of people already in. We ordered a cocktail and a beer, the barman was knowledgeable and friendly. We also ordered some food, a very limited menu but I knew that. Pate, hummus and pizzas were all excellent. Would definitely visit again, cosy and a little quirky, so much nicer than an anonymous pub.

I visited district on a Sunday night for the odd drink and I can say that I met the most amazing people in this bar! The atmosphere was amazing, the vibe was incredible and the staff were fabulous. I met the loveliest staff member there! She made me feel so at ease. I want to say a massive thank to Kristen for making my night! I’ve recently moved to the area and I can say with no doubt that I am officially a regular.

You get a warm, friendly welcome. It's a great place to get warm brew on a cold winter day. The food looked amazing, looking forward to trying the pizza next time

The District Bar is a small, smart little bar very much in the modern “bar” style as opposed to cosy old pub. The decor and furnishings are attractive and comfortable. We enjoyed good service and reasonable beers, albeit there are no hand pulled ales and, when I say reasonable, I must add that this doesn’t extend to price and we thought that £11 for two pints of an average keg IPA was a tad on the steep side. Having said that, I fully understand that small micro bars can’t compete price wise with large chains. The bottom line is that this is a pleasant little bar. It made a nice change and I’m sure we’ll pop in again.

Stopped by for a drink on our way home from town. Lovely bar with a great atmosphere. Great cocktails and very friendly staff. Wish it was my local.

Visited the fantastic little bar on Saturday 29/1/22 atmospheres lovely all the staff couldn’t do enough for you we had pizza and pitta bread very tasty rustic food they have different types of beers and cocktails. We are from Liverpool and will definitely come back.

Best bar in harrogate, the staff, music, drinks, food and atmosphere is on point. The owners are friendly and down to earth. The decor is edgy and modern and the location is perfect. Highly recommend for any occasion.

I booked a table three weeks ago for my brothers wedding. We arrived on time after calling to confirm. When we got to the bar we got shown a a tiny fold out table on the street in the rain. The barman had clearly given our table inside to some of his mates and they where happy to mock and be rude to us about the fact we had no table. Not very nice.

Shocking service. Despite booking weeks in advance, the guy serving was outrageously rude. Terrible bar. Do not go.

Didn't know what to expect from this place with it looking small and with covid 19 reducing the capacity etc, but once we got inside we thought it was excellent. The place was lively and had a great atmosphere. This little place has a bit of character and surpassed all our expectations. Nice lighting and there's another room out the back with more tables and chairs. Outdoor seating too.

This bar doesn't have airs and graces (well apart from Grace behind the bar); it doesn't pretend to be something it isn't. What this bar is - is fabulous, full or quirky charm and the staff ain't half bad either! We loved it from the moment we stepped in, there's always a warm welcome, good chat and banter - and of course always something nice to drink. What impressed me the most that on our second visit ever the lovely Grace welcomed me with "same as last time?" - impressive! Grace and Adam make a great team, the owners Dan and Andy are welcoming and down to earth. I'd have this bar in my district anytime.

District is just round the corner from me so I find myself in there quite a bit! The atmosphere is great in the evening - nice and homely, relaxed but still a lot of fun. In the day you can chill and have a chat with the guys that work there, who are really welcoming. There's also a great choice of craft beers and wines and I've heard that the pizzas are amazing! All in all its a great addition to Cold Bath Road and I can see it going from strength to strength as more people become aware of it

Given that it was a busy night we were very lucky to get a seat at the bay window (1 of 2) The atmosphere was great, music good, not too loud and the drinks were exceptional. the cocktail list was a real eye opener very different from other micro pubs, and the actual drink did not disappoint! We were visiting Harrogate and found the District Bar through trip advisor, the other reviews are spot on. Definitely recommend to anybody looking for a smashing little pub with great service and a character second to none.

Perfectly placed on the outskirts of town on Cold Bath Road a real hub for fab shops and restaurants, this cool and snug bar is ideal for a weekend catch up with friends or a coffee stop during the day. Fab selection of drinks, cocktails and simple but delicious bar food that's great for sharing, we can't wait to go back! Relaxed atmosphere, gorgeous interior and friendly and helpful staff make this one of our favourite spots in Harrogate.

A fabulous new local for us on Cold Bath Road with such a diverse range of craft beers, excelent wines and cocktails! Our new Friday night spot! Can't wait for the summer outside patio afternoons here!

Cosy local bar on a vibrant street, good for a spot of shopping. Simple and unpretentious, good selection of beers and wines....opens in the day too for coffee....really nice atmosphere, great for meeting up with friends and a bit more laid back than town bars. We didn't have any food but they do pizzas and light bites, the menu looked good.

My wife and I visited the District Bar recently and wow thank goodness we found it, different to other pubs and bars we have used in Harrogate, it has a homely warm feel as soon as you arrive selling great craft beers but it also has the charm of a wine bar again selling top end wines and beautiful cocktails. I thought the outside area was incredible where you can sit outside as if you are in Europe with large umbrellas, heaters and blankets, what a great idea. I highly recommend a visit if you are a local or visiting Harrogate and it’s only a few minutes walk from the town centre.
