Whilst visiting Louth we stopped at our usual cafe for tea, coffee and toasted teacakes. The cafe is located in the middle of the market hall in a lovely location. One of the best thing with this cafe is you can take you dog, far better than leaving them in the car. The waitress even brought out a water bowl for Rowan and a couple of dog treats. In these troubled times the cafe complies with Covid rules and we felt safe. Next time we will stop for our lunch.

As a local to Louth I like to have a light lunch here occasionally. What I find odd is the inconsistency of pricing. I like just a simple "chips & beans" sometimes I'm charged £2.50 for a full sized plate & sometimes £2 for a child size. As a volunteer I can get this refunded but the inconsistency is troublesome.

Had coffee & cake here before, today was timed at lunch. We both had the £6.95 breakfast, which included large tea or coffee. Double egg, bacon, sausage (lovely), hash brown also beans, tomato & mushrooms, plus 2 toast each. What a feast. Waited a little bit but so glad when it came, well cooked, piping hot and delicious. Thanks!

Fish and Chips with peas and drink advertised on Fridays. Asked what sort of fish it was as said I would only eat haddock. Lady didn't know, asked in the kitchen and they didn't know, went elsewhere in the market (fish supplier?) and came back saying it was not cod so said if it is haddock I will have that. Plate came with small thin grey fish, not identifiable but certainly not haddock and tasted terrible. Chips were hard and inedible. Shall not be visitng again - please be straight with your customers!

Took my team here for a breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it. Good quality food (none of your cheap sausages etc) well cooked, good value and plentiful. Friendly staff and great service to. Highly recommend if you're in the Louth area

Visit to the seaside wanted fish and chips, as I'm gluten free I usually struggle. Not here have gluten free on the menu, also curry sauce. We both had regular fish and chips, mine was wrapped separately from husbands as he had normal.Great portions glad we didn't go for the large.

Had a couple of roasts today which came with free desserts. Meal was lovely, fresh, hot, just what you expect. We was really happy with that.....but....half an hour after leaving we realised we had left a bag behind. Money, cards, car keys, medication, all stuff hard to replace when on holiday. We returned to the Windsor and the lady who was serving, cleaning etc said she saw the bag as soon as we left, so put it safe behind the counter. Panic over. We can't thank you enough xxx

Can't begin to say how bad this pub was, miserable landlady and landlord and the worst food I have ever not eaten. I say not eaten as we didn't get through even a quarter of the plate of awful food we were offered. My husband said the beer was okay but please don't bother with the food it REALLY ISNT WORTH IT.

We went specifically to this venue for breakfast. We ordered different breakfasts and made some changes to one of them with the helpful counter staff. The tea in the tea pot was cold and we took it back for a replacement hot tea pot. The breakfast was brought to us by a member of staff who did not smile or speak. Having ordered extra well done bacon we were surprised to note that it certainly hadn't been even well done. The plates were cold and so was half of the breakfast, the rest of it cooling rapidly. The toast and prepacked butter were placed on the top of the breakfast and we had to use our fingers to try and get them off the top, even though there was nowhere to put them (have they never heard of side plates)? All in all, very poor. Customer care is clearly not a priority.

Visited here yesterday as we have done many times previously and i was on my VERY SMALL electric scooter (ES). It was quite busy but not full as it is fairly small inside. Myself and my scooter took up the same amount of sitting on the chair as i was situated so i didn't need to use their chair and if on a large bike this would not have been possible. However a young girl asked if i could leave my ES outside and walk in which i could not as not able to do so. I replied we have been in there previously and had never been an issue but she said the couldn't allow it when they were busy. I would not have gone in if i was going to cause an issue or restrict any of the pathways and so i felt i had to leave, which we did. However there was 3 tables occupied by approx 12 men who were blocking pathways and not eating anything and were loudly talking to each other across the tables who were who were quite clearly obstructive but seemingly that was ok !!! I am disgusted in this day and age that such discrimination persists and i will not use them again. Perhaps they need to add a sign to the windows stating people with mobility aids would not be allowed in busy periods. Totally Disgusted. LInda Halls
