Olivelli - Mayfair in City of London, Westminster

First visit and I’ll definitely come back. The staff were really friendly. The food arrived quickly and was a good portion size. I had veal in a mushroom sauce served with potato’s and tenderstem broccoli and my friend had the ravioli…. Both tasted great. For dessert I had a chocolate torte type thing which was also nice!

Most delicious meal in a quaint London street. The food is excellent, best delicious Anchovy Pizza, Pesto Pasta and more. We dined here twice. It is not to be missed always busy so be sure to book!

My family and I popped into Olivelli’s for some lunch without having made a prior booking and we were not disappointed - lovely drinks, fresh and authentic Italian food that were served in generous portions and lovely staff that were very accommodating. Thanks, Olivelli!

Excellent family run restaurant, very attentive and polite service by all waiters and waitresses. The food is delicious and cooked fresh. If you've not tried it, I definitely recommend you do!

Hidden gem located towards the back of St. Christopher's Place away from all of the other busy restaurants. I like coming here as it is never too busy. Small restaurant, seating is quite tightly packed (indoor and outdoor seating). Food is delicious. I normally have one of the pasta dishes. So good. Authetic Italian cuisine. Freshly made and delicious. Clean. Staff are friendly and pleasant. Nice atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Restaurant testé au hasard d'une promenade dans le coin. Les plats de pâtes sont plutôt bons même si notre commande n'a pas été respectée et ce sans explication. Service très peu agréable avec les touristes surtout si l'on ne prend pas de boissons (il a fallu réclamer des verres d'eau).

We were looking for an Italian close to us and found this. So glad we did. Probably the best pasta dish I have ever had. My husband had a pizza and it was equally good. Very authentic Sicilian food - having recently returned from a holiday in Sicily. Great service too. Thank you

Nicely decorated restaurant. Food well presented but unfortunately nothing special. The food arrived so quickly after ordering, it clearly isn’t freshly cooked. It tasted ok but not what I would call authentic Italian. The staff were efficient but not friendly & were moaning about working there. Not something customers should hear. Having read the reviews before visiting, it was a disappointment. Expensive for the portion sizes. Ok if you are in a hurry.

We only came across the restaurant by chance when having a walk around London. Given that within the group there was a fussy eater and a vegetarian always limits our choices but we were very happy to find the menu catered for all needs. The pizzas were cooked perfectly with plenty of fresh vegetables used as topping and I can only compliment the seafood pasta (Scoglio). The seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection, as was the spaghetti. Whilst the restaurant was not overly busy, it had a good ambiance and a good place I would meet friends for an evening out.

Amazing food as always, risotto perfect … service outstanding ! please check out the toilets when you visit, the sink and tiles are are a sight to behold and then you have the single use hand towels , beyond impressive

Horrible atmosphere and attitude of staff we should have just turned round and walked out before we even ordered, my food tasted like it was cooked in a burnt pan chips were disgusting and smothered in salt it was horrible the whole experience, got the bill just checked the amount card paid and left then checked bill later on service charge wish I would have read it before I paid they would have got nothing my night was ruined birthday meal and mothers day horrible place would never go back

This a relatively small but cosy venue. I had the sea bass which very nicely cooked and the meat remained juicy. The olives on top went extremely well with the fish. I indulged myself to end the meal with the Torta Paradiso, a must-try for chocolate lovers.

Really charming location which was perfect in between Oxford Street and Marylebone. The food and wine was very nice and the cherry and almond tart was to die for.

Stumbled across Olivelli when we were looking for somewhere to get a light lunch. We shared a goats cheese pizza (amazing!) and a couple of drinks and coffees. Even though the restaurant is a in a fairly busy area, it feels like a little off the beaten path gem! The staff were wonderful, very friendly and attentive, and service was prompt. The drinks were really nice and not too expensive. Food was good too especially the pasta. The inside of the restaurant could do with a bit of a makeover, the interior is basic so could be nicer but overall a nice place to go after work for some dinner.

Lovely cosy restaurant tucked away the food was perfect I order Americana Piccante it was very flavoured and order chips they was good too.

Se acercó a su colega por la caja y claramente ambos nos miraban y hablaban, lo que nos hizo sentir muy incómodos. El camarero volvió a la mesa para traer agua. Lovely to find them reopened with plenty of outdoor seating in quiet St Christopers place. Staff charmingly on the ball re all things Covid. Delicious tortollini paradiso and a pizza more than satisfied our needs with garlic bread and chilled rosé we felt very comfortable. Recommend.

Service was terrible- culminating in a half full beer bottle being poured over one of our party’s laps. Bill came with service still charged, and the beer wasn’t even knocked off the bill! Obviously refused service charge - waitress replied with “beer doesn’t stain”. Asked the manager’s opinion, who gave a mumbled apology but clearly didn’t care. The food is distinctly average with much better restaurants on St Christopher’s Place.

Entramos a este restaurante por casualidad cuando no se cumplieron nuestras reservas de cenas en otro restaurante, un sábado por la noche, la semana de Navidad. No hace falta decir que todos estábamos bastante angustiados por encontrar un lugar que pudiera acomodar a seis. Olivelli nos recibió y logró encontrarnos una mesa. Nos trataron con excelente comida por todas partes. El vino era excelente al igual que el servicio. Independientemente de lo ocupados que obviamente estuvieran, nunca nos hicieron sentir apurados. No se ve un teléfono celular (a excepción de algunas selfies, por supuesto) Nos sentimos como si fuéramos transportados en el tiempo, cuando la gente realmente se hablaba, obviamente debido a la atmósfera cálida y cómoda, como estar en un "italiano" reunión familiar. Ambiente perfecto y muy asequible por la calidad. Todos estábamos muy contentos de que nuestras reservas originales fracasaron, lo mejor que pudo haber sucedido. . . I have been to this restaurant 3 times in December and really enjoyed every visit. Good food, good wine, good ambiance, good service. Highly recommend it.

We were lucky to get a table when we found Olivelli by chance. It was packed and as soon as a table was vacated it was filled again. The atmosphere was like a big family dinner with everyone excitedly talking at once. Not a mobile to be seen. Despite being so busy the waiter was friendly and we were not hurried. The food arrived much quicker than expected and every mouthful excellent. We will return.

We stopped here for dinner one evening “on spec” without a reservation and were seated at one if the last empty tables. Staff were friendly and efficient throughout, and service was fast and efficient. Food was well presented and tasted good, but not fine dining. Good value and the ultimate test, we would go again.

I’ve eaten at Olivetti Waterloo and have to say that is much better. This one lacks a little atmosphere. My calamari was not great, way to think and batter was non-existent, dropped off and lacked flavour. Pizza was good though.

We have been here a few times and the food is always good, tables are a bit too close together and sometimes the waiters are a bit hit and miss but definitely worth a visit. The menu is varied and the price not too high, worth a go!

If you want a decent plate of pasta in a genuine Italian restaurant, quick, tasty, hot, value for money with decent service and the ability to sit outside, look no further. Been going there for years, will be going there for years. Ps they do other delicious things, salads, pizza's and more substantiation mains.

Went for a small light lunch. We saw they had interesting spritz type drinks, and we were not disappointed. Huge, tasty, and innovative! The beef carpaccio was fantastic, very thinly sliced, exactly the way it should be. Great service, too! We will be back!!

We enjoyed our dinner at Olivelli. The restaurant is small but nice, the service was very good and our meals were tasty. My husband loved his seafood pasta and I liked my pizza. I would probably order pasta the next time we go.

One of the best Italians I have been to in London. Decor feels a bit like a cafe, but food was excellent. Can highly recommend the seafood risotto.

Charming looking place on a charming street-- we walked all around the neighborhood and came back. Ah well. The place was empty but the manager ordered us to a noisy table near the bus station. I won't speak for my partner's food (looked sad), but my red wine was so so (sweet! yech!) and the pizza was less than so so. (dry. meager.) The salad was meh. I'm no expert in Italian food, but I lived in Italy for 18 months. In a city like London, I'm surprised this place survives. Our server was nice, but I think we'd have done a lot better at a nearby chain. They should try harder. And I think they know it.

Nearly walked into the place next door but went to Olivelli instead. Very nice and welcoming staff, fresh pasta and risotto and lovely raspberry prosecco cocktail. Great location away from roads and traffic. Will definitely be back. Good for a working lunch.

It was a bit late, around 9 pm and we were 13 people, so it was quite difficult to find a place with available tables, but we came accross this Restaurant. The service is perfect, the food was awesome. I really enjoyed my risotto with seafood.

We have eaten here a number of times and never been disappointed. The location is in a bustling foody area close to Oxford Street. The fare is traditional Italian served with friendliness and professionalism. Nothing has disappointed us on those many visits and we would recommend it to anyone wanting a decent meal at an inexpensive price for London.

Good for a quick Italian or a leisurely lunch or dinner. Near the northern end of St Christopher's Place, convenient if you are shopping in Oxford St. Daily so ecials and 2 courses for £12.95, but a broad a la carte menu will satisfy any hunger. Service was prompt and nothibg was too much. If its a nice day enjoy the outside tables, inside is cosy with atmosphere. It's stood the test of time.

Wine prices are a bit steep-£30+ for a good italian white but sadly par for the course in the Uk especially london. very nice coffee-recommended would return

Just a quick lunch. Squid starter was exceptional. Pizza very good. Pasta dish with wild fennel and sardines a bit strong. Wines are good. Coffee really excellent. Will definitely return and perhaps make slightly different choices. Fresh fish was excellent last time

Impossible to fault this super Restaurant . Service perfect. Food terrific. Price--well it is situated in Mayfair !! Doggy-Bags required & provided without fuss. We shall return to sample something else from the menu-full of temptations !!

This is a little Italian restaurant on a side street, looks cute from outside very traditional look ns feel, decent food!

Discovered this excellent restaurant yesterday. The food was great, nice surroundings, friendly (but not over-friendly) staff and overall a very pleasant experience. Definitely a place to go back to.

When in town we often went to an Italian cafe on James St, but it has been bought out. We looked around for another and found this delightful restaurant just after St Christopher's Square behind Oxford Street.Whilst modern decor, it still retained the feel of Italy, and the staff were brilliant - attentive, discrete and engaging. They served some of the best olives I've had in London and the battered veal was excellent; this is my test of a new Italian restaurant, and they had kept it moist yet thin - many restaurants overcook the veal.

Yet again we come back to Olivelli and it’s great food. Burrata was great, as was the great prawns. Mains of fish were fantastic. Good location Service was good ££
