Olive Branch - Mediterranean Street Food Liverpool City Centre in Liverpool

I Came here with friends and a group of kids on Sunday 23rd February. The customer service was awful. And the food was dry, and the guy at the till looked like he hated his job and did not want to be there, he was very rude and had bad attitude. I got over charged for my meal. Be aware!!!!!! I will never return to this place again.

The doner is very tasty, we love coming here. The flavour is as we are used to, the vegetables and sauces are fresh and the bread is soft. It is a flavour we are looking for, we love it.

Absolutely incredible food, and brilliant small restaurant vibes. If you hate fast food chains, love nutritious salad and tasty traditional meats, this is the place for you.

Mix schwarma wrap with chips and a drink 9 quid . Made quickly . Really nice will be back

Great food selection, I woulda chose everything if I could. But went with the Shawarma Burger and it was great. Service was on point, plenty of seating and a sink to wash your hands afterwards.

A place for quick grabs. Chicken, Lamb or mixed shawarma are all delicious. Small sized dine in area is available and their food is priced on par with others.

Excellent place to go, especially after Uni lectures. Food and staff are great. I usually get the mixed shwarma wrap meal, which comes with a wrap, chips, and a drink. There is seating. However, when they're busy, there might not be any available seating spots.

They gave me cold and really hard meat and chicken mix too small with a non grilled bread.

Love this place , I always get the lamb shawarma wrap meal ,cost about £8 .60 Always fresh and tasty ,you get chips and a can as well, staff , are friendly, salad is always fresh , been going here for years , beats McDonald's anyway, real food

****AVOID AVOID**** Zero star service, the lady serving us was very rude, given us burnt wraps and shawarama was disgusting as if it was days old. The cheese burger too chewy and undercooked. We left feeling sick. The quality of food is bad and the service is appalling. Many better food options out in Liverpool, save yourself time and money.

Menu doesn't clearly explain the shawarma with fries meal is a platter and not a wrap. Doesn't offer any solution when problem rose after making the order. Also not restocked on many home made sauces they claim to offer. No toilet in seating area.

Delicious shawarma! We had a shawarma wrap and a sandwich. The portions are very generous, so much that the filling from my sandwich spilled onto my fries, so I basically had some loaded fries as well. Recommended, great food and a great price.

£9 for a "shawarma" fries. Had very little chicken and waited for about half an hour. 🤷‍♂️

Food is always top notch when you go in. The guys behind the counter can tell you about the food as it's made fresh by the owner.

Be wary if you pay in cash. Check your change, especially if paying with a £20 note for something under a tenner.

Food lovely staff really nice and helpful upstairs sitting area to small could do with redecoration and tidy up, saying that it's street food so more takeaway, but couldn't fault food would defo go again, my granddaughter loved the food she is 7. Value for money 💰

I was attracted by the name and misguided by the reviews. The so called Shawarma is anything but Shawarma. It has no authentic taste and merely chicken without any shawarma spices. The wrap was full of watery salad and little chicken. The seating area is so small with low ceiling so if you plan to take a seat, mind your head. No toilet facilities on site and a blocked sink to wash your hands if you dear looking at. Unfortunately. One star is a generous review for this place.

Firstly the guy got every order wrong, Waited 30 minutes for a wrap and chips which when preparing he told me they ran out of mayonnaise then to top it off my friend ordered chips with his wrap which he had already paid for and the man serving tried to recharge him and made him show proof of purchase again! There was only 3 people in store at the time so it wasn't like it was busy. Worst customer service I've ever experienced!

I visited this shop with my friend to eat something, but i found the staff highly unprofessional and uncooperative. Seriously disgusting. Yeah food was okay like 7/10 but the customer service quality is pathetic

We went there but their service was very worst especially their manager rude behaviour with the customers disappoint us way too much. Although the food was not too bad but their service tooks half of our hunger. The experience was pathetic.

Shawarma wrap was superb. Meat was freshly carved and plentiful. Lots of salad and choices of sauce. Very busy but not a long wait and the team were helpful and efficient. Highly recommend and hope to find another near home.

The shawarma is really good. You can select your toppings and sauces for the shawarma wraps just like you do at a Subway. Nice place to have a quick bite at an economical price.

AWFUL RIP OFF! got 2 x wraps, virtually no meat in them at all (more meat in a happy neal) salad, lettuce and olives only! NEVER AGAIN! Worst £14.50 I've ever spent!

Finally tried this place, after months of being undecided! All i can say is i wish I'd tried it sooner. The food was amazing. I got the loaded chips so I had lamp ontop but you can choice chicken or both- choice of salad and sauces. Will be going again.

Had the mixed shewarma in pitta. Not bad but not great either. Portion was small with the majority of it being salad. Server was uninterested and unwelcoming. There are better places nearby.

The worst £20 spent ever!! Been there with my partner and was really hungry long awaited food served cold and they forgot our fries. Total miss management and unprofessional staff and really poor food. Never eat again 👎 Not recommend to anyone 👎

Horrible. Empty chicken kebab with loads of sauce , salad and nearly no chicken. The chicken wasn't fresh. The wrap bread wasn’t even warmed. Very rushed. I regret having ordered. I went with a friend and it was very embarrasing. I will not go back

Went there today for a kebab we stood there for 10 mins being totally ignored while 4 staff dealt with 2 customers in the end we left and went to the kebab shop opposite where we were served immediately with a superb kebab the service in the olive branch wad shocking I won't be going back

Shame on you, ordered a shawarma sandwhich that was not only delivered stone cold but was practically empty, the little lamb in it was full of grizzly fat as pictured. Went here today, schwarma and lamb looked great, ordered the wrap meal, myself and a friend were shocked at the portion size. Bare minimum put on the wrap and chips portion very small. Tasted nice but £8.50 wasn't good value for the amount given.

I don't get people complaints about this place. Yes, the wrap was small, but it is like that in many places here. I had the lamb shawarma, and it was very nice. Yes, their hummus is weird and they don't have tahini, like in most places here. Nice lite dinner.

I've been here for the first time, I had chicken shawarma wrap which was the smallest shawarma ever had , the chicken portion was so small like the quantity of a chicken wing. So disappointed!!!

The best Doner/Shawarma (chicken and Lamb) in Liverpool. For a small eat in and take out restaurant this exceeds all other in Liverpool One. For the price, and comparing it to all other establishments, the price and quality is excellent.

Very poor quality food, not friendly staff

Portions below average. Poor value for money. A crime not to have tahini sauce to go with the lamb shawarma (a basic for a Mediterranean resto). A bigger crime AND to add salt to the wounds, you put bbq sauce in the wrap when the customer clearly settled for garlic because you don’t have tahini. Hummus was too lemony and liquidy. Giving 2* because the little chicken that we got was actually not bad.

I’ll be honest, I don’t know how the reviews are so positive. I ordered the chicken shawarma with rice and both the shawarma and rice were cold. Not willing to spend another £7.50 to try again unfortunately.

The shawarma sold here can be best described as a sandwich with lots of veggies along with the meat wrapped in a tortilla bread. If you have grown up eating Shawarma in the Middle East, this is not for you. It has far too many veggies and not wrapped in a Kubboos, so better continue your search for that authentic Arabic sharwama in Liverpool :)

Went here for the first time. Usually the wife and myself usually goto one of the fancy restaurants. Never again the food in the olive branch is delicious great value for money. Staff are friendly of you haven't visited you really should.
