Nando's Liverpool - Queen Square in Liverpool

All of the food seemed like it had been sitting in a fridge for a week before it was cooked and served to us. It looked and tasted old, the chicken was so dry, broccoli was hard and literally grey, the only good thing was garlic bread, mac n cheese and fanta. service was friendly tho.

And this time too we were not disappointed. In fact it was a real pleasure. The electronic control system is very simple. The service is kind and fast. The prices are honest and, above all, the quality of the dishes is very good.

I need to mention that the food in particular was tasty, the staff was kind, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I could not fail to mention William, who brought our food to the table us and provided an excellent table service always smiling and who received us very well. I'll come back more often. 🙂

Got a chicken wrap the chicken was under cooked pink on the inside I ate half couldn’t eat the rest they then made me a fresh one and it was freezing, staff were not polite at all every single one of them were slow in the head, will not be eating at this Nando’s ever again!!!!

Unfortunately the only Nandos that I've ever had to send food back in. Visited with friend and his son, chips were cold, as in freezing, and returned a few minutes later looking like the same product refried. I got the new menu item the loaded chip, also freezing and on its return I was unsure whether microwaved or remade. Not a great deal of chicken on the chips , not exactly loaded, and for the price of a Nandos these days, this one was extremely disappointing.

Amazing customer service, our order was put through wrong but they apologized and corrected this free of charge and so quick! All the staff were so kind and helpful with anything we needed!

It is not very enjoyable and the food is cold and it takes a long time to arrive at your table. One of our party members waited nearly 30 mins after being told it would be 4 mins.

Dinner at Nando's was great! The staff was friendly, especially William (special thanks to him)! The only upsetting thing was that we had to wait 20-30 mins For a table.

William greeted me with such a lovely warm greeting, that instantly I felt welcomed here. He was very polite and well mannered and explained the processes of how the service worked. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. I would recommend a visit here especially if William is there to greet you

I went to Liverpool for my holidays and I had the BEST customer service from the French guy called William, he was very polite, smiling and helpful. I wish to come back again.

We had a great experience from start to finish. As this was our first time in Nandos we didn't know what to expect. We loved the bottomless drink can mix them up and try new flavours lol. We were greeted by William, very polite and showed us where everything was. Will definitely be returning to this branch on our next visit to Liverpool. 5star 🌟

A little expensive for what it is but it's okay

No problem getting a table, food was hot and tasty albeit the chicken was a little dry. Popped some mayo on and it was lovely.

This particular store of the chain is located in Queen Square in the center of the city! It is a fast food restaurant that only serves chicken dishes! We chose a menu for two with grilled chicken, fries, coleslaw and a dip, and I can say it was very tasty! Finally, the staff was very friendly and helpful, while the prices were normal for the level of the city! I recommend it if you're looking for something quick, but not unhealthy!

Order my meal to take out I paid for garlic perinaise however when I checked the bag before leaving it wasn’t there so I had to ask for that, when I got home I noticed they didn’t give me the dip for the halloumi sticks aswell I ordered peri peri salted chips and I unfortunately just got normal ones extremely disappointed

came here with low expectations having had a bad experience at the liverpool one branch however this was a great experience, our waiter was so helpful helping us order as the qr code wasn’t working with my gift card, our food came and was lovely, have no complaints

Restraunt needs updating, food ok, too much oil on broccoli and salad, no atmosphere maybe just time of day. Staff friendly

Awful experience! Food was so cold and rushed out. Waiters were not helpful, they were constantly dropping a load of things either on the main floor or in the kitchen which was very disruptive. Do better Nandos!

The welcome was good he let us choose where to sit.

We had a lovely time at this branch. The meat was crispy and full of flavour when we came for lunch. The atmosphere was brilliant the staff was doing their job very well too. Thank you William for being so kind and attentive. . I will definitely visit again.

Lovely staff, very attentive. Our halloumi starters were cold but we tolerated that. My chicken which should have had crispy skin was slimy. We sent the corn back, one piece was burned another one wasn't cooked. When we got the corn back the butter smelled like paraffin. We really like Nando's but there's something seriously wrong at this restaurant. We won't use it again.

absolutely horrendous in here, come out for a meal together and all get out food separate, waited 40 minutes for a burger and was given the wrong meals, this is absolutely disgusting the staff really need to work harder and do there job properly

Staff speak to delivery drivers like something that's dropped off the bottom of their foot. Wouldn't ever eat there after seeing how they treat contractors that are making money for them.

Enjoyable visit for lunch. Friendly welcome and seated promptly. Food arrived quickly and was delicious. The manager was very helpful with allergy details as we needed gluten free.

Shame the prices Nando's shows in this app are not the same as in the menu in restaurant. Shame those in charge of seating customers place 2 people on tables for 6. Result obviously unnecessary wait to be seated despite loads of vacant chairs

The food and staff were amazing.

Our food unfortunately wasn’t delivered. Nando’s outsource their deliveries to Deliveroo but give you no control over when the order is arriving (unlike the food delivery apps normally do). After ringing up the Nando’s helpline to find out where the food was we were told the driver wasn’t able to deliver the food so he’d taken it back to the store. We then rang the store as we’d just go and pick it up but apparently the driver had told them he’d delivered it… For context we live in an apartment block with an intercom, not once was our room called. It felt as if the store have had this issue with drivers before so they agreed to send it out again. We didn’t want to keep harassing them so left it an hour as it still hadn’t arrived, hence we called again. The store said they weren’t able to get a new Deliveroo driver so wouldn’t be able to get a new order sent out and we’d need to apply for a refund online. The lady in the store took my number and assured me that she would keep us updated if anything changed but unfortunately she decided not to. I’d definitely think twice about ordering a delivery from Nando’s as the Deliveroo drivers can steal it without you really having a leg to stand on. We’ve started the refund process online but it takes several days to get a response from them. Very poor!

Just wish it wasn’t as pricey is it is. Staff are lovely, when it’s busy you would wait longer to get served but the system works for them. Food is amazing would taste better if prices were better.

Poor service and cold food worst experience🥲

Hospitality was amazing. I'm currently almost 6 months pregnant and got made to feel very welcome and looked after. Food was delicious too!

Me and my husband went to try nandoos first time from here . First we went in we don’t know that they will allocate us a seat. So we just stand there and looking for seats. So we tried to go upstairs. There was no sign it was closed. They said it’s closed and one guy came to us and speak to us in a rude manner.like you can’t walk in like this . I was so hungry . After that he allocated us a seat . But after this experience I don’t feel like eating something so I just walked out.

Just had a deliveroo from this nandos. It normally arrives cold and order is wrong from Liverpool one. However, this arrived fast, nice and hot. With napkins, sauces and peri salt! Thank you 😋

it’s was good for a first timer at nando’s, a lil sad that when i asked for the peri-mayo (can’t remember what’s it’s called) that they had none so i didn’t enjoy my meal as much, but when asking for a small takeaway box i was happy so i wouldn’t have to waste the rest. but overall the atmosphere and staff were lovely

Food was delicious. The Peri Peri sauce bottles needed to be cleaned. Lots of residue on the bottles, especially on the opener he at the top of them.

We went for a birthday party the other day and the food was lovely - one of the members of the group didn’t get their food for half an hour, however when we questioned this, her food was brought over and we received a large amount of free desserts which was unexpected and very much appreciated. The people we spoke to about the missing food were not the same as took our order but they still sorted our problem without question so thank you Shih, Jack and Alex

The food was lovely as always, the chicken wraps are always delicious, thank you! The atmosphere is always pretty chilled and relaxed, and the waiting time wasn't as long as expected which was a lovely surprise. We were waited on by Meg, who was so lovely and friendly, and kept checking on us - she went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied, even coming to say goodbye as we left which we thought was incredibly sweet of her!

Toilets a bit of a mess tbh, no loo roll, some Spanish speaking people who were struggling to navigate that, but your stereotypical Nando’s in every other way.

Visited 18/1/24 at 19:30 Everything was fine. Except for the rice it was very hard didn't taste fresh.

We was sat next to the door which was freezing cold especially not helpful when it is the season to be catching colds..Our drinks took 15mins to arrive and we have to go up and ask for our cups. The worst part was our food..We went up to go and get forks and there were none there, we went up to ask for them but they got more knives instead and said they were still in the wash...Our food then arrived even without our forks and we waited an even longer 20minutes for our food to go stone cold(disappointing..)We then asked for a fresh plate of our order but instead just clearly microwaved the food.. just stick to the one in Liverpool one. The managers there were lovely and did try their best but the other staff were just rude.

Well where do I start with the food. First of all my food was stone cold when it arrived, the titanic is still serving warmer scran. The chicken was dry and tough it was like sticking my teeth into a hardback version of the Oxford dictionary. With my throat being bone dry from the chicken I thought I’d get myself a bottomless drink. Only to find that the coca cola resembled what I can only explain as dish water that would be found in the sink of a Zambian Mud hut. Shocking standard letting the Nando’s name down.

Nice and clean good food not too expensive. Had only a 5 minute wait for the table, which for a busy Friday at Christmas was good. Staff were friendly, and food arrived quickly.

Food came very late, very expensive and small. Did not fill us up at all. We ordered 2 chicken butterfly with sides and drinks and it amounted to £40. Not worth it at all.

I really enjoyed my food from here the butter chicken was really nice not overcooked and would definitely go there again if in Queens square I would highly recommend to go there and get a quick bite to eat if your on your lunch break in work or have been shopping and are looking for a nice casual meal Nandos is definitely the best place to go 🍴😋🔥

Called in after a show nearby and the two of us were seated quickly as it wasn't busy. We were directed to order through the app rather than going to the counter. Ordering the food wasn't a problem and our glasses for the soft drinks arrived quickly. The starter (halloumi) was delicious and didn't take too long. The main however was a massive disappointment. The chips were overcooked, to the point that the potato inside them had disappeared and they were either empty or filled with oil. We asked for them to be replaced and the guy serving us looked like we'd ruined his night by asking for anything. He took them away looking angry and frustrated before bringing back the chicken on the same plate so that it wouldn't go cold whilst that chips cooked. The chicken was a bit dry but edible. The spicy rice was fine. When the new chips arrived they were good but we'd almost finished the chicken. In addition to this someone in the kitchen burnt themselves and started shouting that they wanted to die, which wasn't a great experience. Overall I would go back, but maybe not at 9:30pm on a Friday. If you've found this review helpful please give it a thumbs up 👍

So ordered food for me and the wife, the wifes was great she really enjoyed it, however my bean burger came cold would never normally send something back but I did, second one came out warm not hot at all but the bun was hard and wet like they had defrosted it so couldnt eat it, this is one reason I normally stick to independent eateries, the mango frozen yoghurt was good though

Food was good but it took ages to get our drinks (empty glasses for the refills. I had to ask at the counter after 10 mins. Food took around 30 mins as well. When it came it tasted good and was at the right spice level.

Didn't live up to other Nando's iv been to.

I'm usually pretty impressed by the level of customer service at a Nando's, for a chain restaurant its company ethos is pretty consistent 👌 But to have that level of great customer service at 10:30pm was awesome and unexpected. It's great to see and I felt compelled to leave a review, which I scarcely do. Ryan on the till was pure class.

Went today and couldn’t fault a thing! Our little boy has a dairy allergy and the manager couldn’t have been more helpful in making us feel comfortable that our little boys food would not be anywhere near anything with dairy in. The food came so quickly and was cooked by the manager, he was amazing and we will definitely be back

Around a few minutes walk from Lime Street station. Can be quite busy but staff aim to get food to you as quick as possible.
