Olde Penny's Tea Room in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Visited with a friend and was instantly thrown down nostalgia lane. Having afternoon high tea nestled in-between the antiques was exactly what we had pictured. The food was tasty and the staff were warm and welcoming, I would definitely recommend.

Went for afternoon tea,well only ended up with a sandwich each. Young lady serving seemed overwhelmed. Not checked on for tea/coffee refills and eventually after an hour asked if we wanted anything else. I had said we were there for afternoon tea when we chose our sandwiches. Ended up leaving and paying for what ended up just being expensive sandwiches. This was supposed to be a treat for visiting family and left me disappointed and embarrassed. Been before abd the afternoon tea was good,but unfortunately I won't be going back after today

I came across this tea room by chance. I am so glad I did as I had a lovely lunch, home made quiche with salad and a coffee. The tea room itself is in a vintage setting which was lovely. The food was very good value. There were also many cakes on offer so I took some home with me. While I was there I took the chance to look around the rooms, if you like vintage items this is the place for you, so many interesting items for sale. I found a beautiful Italian handbag and silk scarf. I would recommend a visit.

Amazing quirky and quaint tearoom with so much to see, the cream tea was the best, very delicious 😋. Me and mum enjoyed our visit, we brought a plant and are looking forward to coming back 💖✨️

Even if you don't want to browse the "Antiques" and old 1940s,50s and 60s items, you can just sit in the tea rooms and drink in the atmosphere whilst listening to music from that era. The tea is worth having though as its excellent. Recommended.

went for a look around , lots of old furniture , really reasonable , and i was told , EVERYTHING is for sale , its great .some shabby chic ,and up cycling .my wife spent ages in the Vintage clothes shop ,its like going back in time ! Staff are really freindly , no pressure at all to buy , so relaxed . Then we had a cup of tea in the Tea Room , lovely home baked cakes , really couldnt choose between cream tea or a slice of Seedy cake , havent had that since my nan made it , memories. and served on china plates and cups .
