Do yourself a favour and order the Scottish oak smoked salmon sandwich with lemon mayonnaise, side salad and crisps. Quality!

Nice cafe and shop built in the old stables and piggery, we just had a sandwich and a drink in the lovely sunshine.

The current titles of the 2 cafes are SWAN POND CAFÉ & HOME FARM KITCHEN Decent cafe, the quality of which (including the shop) in the old pig farm is another example of where lottery cash goes I guess.

All through the Covid crisis this was a haven for a decent snack after a visit to Culzean. Now that life is improving the catering has taken a nose dive. Gone are the BLT's , Bacon Rolls and tasty hot snacks. All that they offer now are cakes and biscuits and the the occasional sorry looking pre-packed white bread sandwich. Very disappointing. We have persevered for a few months and even written to the catering manager but to no avail. Culzean is still a great day out but take yor own food!

Having been in lockdown for so long we were delighted to come across this lovely coffee house and we had the most delicious smoked salmon sandwiches and coffee and a Hot Chocolate - all wonderful. Thank you.

Even under covid restrictions they are serving carry outs to then sit on the benches and enjoy. Tap with cold water to give the dog a drink or fill your water bottle beside the benches

Called with family earlier this week and we were blown away with the quality of the food that we received, I opted for their home made 'Chicken & Leek Pie' and it was first class. The staff there couldn't have been nicer and more helpful, all the food was first class and reasonably priced. We will definitely go back again in the future

My friends and I had lunch here on a recent visit to Culzean Castle. We had the home made soup which was absolutely delicious. The choice was lentil or spiced carrot. I had the spiced carrot and it was really lovely. It was served with crusty bread. We sat outside because we had the dogs with us. There was plenty of room but we were bothered a little by the wasps (it's that time of year unfortunately). My friend also had sticky toffee pudding which was served with ice cream. That was also delicious. I think that the hot food served here is better than the sandwiches which were pre-packed.

I wish the US had these coffee/tea houses associated with our historic sites - the food is wonderful the people are lovely - a truly great option.

The Coffee House doesn't just do good coffee, try the Soup and the Scones. It has seating outside, and on the many good days in Ayrshire its stunning sitting outside with Coffee and a Cream Scone.

Visiting Culzean Castle we dropped into the Old Stables coffee house beside the Castle and took the sandwiches, cappuccinos a slice of fruit loaf and a fruit scone. . 2 pleasant young lads serving . Situated in the old stables of the Cafe there is outside seating with a really good view of the coastline ,the place has a lot going for it . The sandwiches were made on the 12th this was the 14th and sell by date was the 15th One side of my sandwich was hard ! this is 3 days old, sandwiches need to be fresh . The fruit loaf was dried out but this was lying on open plates instead of being covered and the scone was not the same day. This is a great location and it would not be hard to sort the problems. The other problem is we could see into one of the toilets from our seat there is no second door between the cafe and the toilets We would have been better going to the much larger restaurant which looked much better organised

This was definitely the worst Burger I’ve ever eaten in my life. It was dry terrible with plastic cheese never worth £17.95

I visit the shop daily, and have done for the last few years. The staff are amazing and know exactly what i like and how i like it, you can’t beat service like that. The shop is always well stocked, clean and tidy with a lovely welcoming atmosphere.
