Lovely food and excellent service by Reece!! Reece was extremely friendly and professional and nothing was too much trouble for him! Outstanding customer service from him!! 👏👏👏

Went for lunch on a Saturday at 12pm and had a carvery each and a dessert. Alyssa, our waitress was friendly and polite and the guy serving the carvery was awesome. Food was great, as usual and we got 30% off our mains which was a lovely added bonus. Highly recommended as one of the best carvers in the area.

The carvery was really good, and bearing in mind it was only £12, I was very impressed. The staff were really nice and couldn't do enough for us. A gem 👌🏼

No frills but perfectly adequate for a casual meal out. Only complaint really is that the coffee machine is rarely in use. They say it’s broken but I’m a fairly regular visitor here and I have heard this nearly every time I’ve been there (over a 2 year period visiting every 1 - 2 months). Simply not good enough. This issue needs sorting permanently.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. My partner had to wait a little while for his meal so the manager compensated with a free drink from the bar. My partner was very impressed with the gesture. He also had to change his order due to there bein limited meat on the carvery and it was all sorted for him effortlessly. Thankyou, fabulous team!

We call in most Sundays for lunch, we never book a table but the staff always manage to fit us in, the food is really nice, but on the odd occasion it was a little cold, the staff are really helpful and pleasant, and the atmosphere is good, probably one of the best Sunday lunch, and we have tried a lot of places, keep up the good work old hall farm.

On entering The Old Hall Farm Restaurant you could feel the welcoming atmosphere. It was spacious and airy with lots of seats to choose from. Whether it be inside,in the conservatory or al fresco! Reece welcomed us & asked us if there was any particular place we would like to sit,we said no so he showed us to an empty table. He was extremely attentive telling us that we could down load the app to place our order or order at the bar. We sat down & chose what we wanted and ordered at the bar. We didn’t have to wait too long before our meals arrived. Reece came over to us a couple of times,asking if everything was okay and did we need anything. After the delicious meal our plates were swiftly taken away and Reece then asked if we wanted any dessert. On refusing this(we were both full),we were ready to go. Reece asked if we wouldn’t mind giving a review and he handed us a card with details on. All in all a very pleasant experience and Reece was a charming,attentive guy. Well done.

Good food, great service. Comfortable and nice atmosphere, but coffee machine not working so only had instant coffee (no thanks). Good value for money.

Carvery was cooked to perfection, nothing was dry, servers were lovely and prompt. I knocked it down 1 star purely due to the state of the chairs, 1 leather chair had a rip in the seat cushion exposining the foam and the other had no support so you sank into the seat.

We are not from around this area. We went to the Blue Planet Aquarium and stopped in when we were hungry. We had a lovely carvery, not your typical one. The meat was fantastic, and so was everything else.

We arrived without a booking on a Saturday night, we got seated straight away. Food was really nice and didn’t have to wait long. Ordered with the QR code on the table, really easy. Ample parking outside too.

Main meal was okay, starters were a complete joke in my opinion. Four mozzarella cheese bites for £6 over priced for whats served, probably won't come back.

Lovely pub with great food - only major complaint being the bar staff’s inability to provide what had been ordered . I had ordered a Pepsi max for my type 1 diabetic daughter . Had she been given full sugar it would have made her seriously ill . On receiving the drink and tasting it my daughter checked with the bar man that the drink was sugar free and he replied no it isn’t, he had poured a full sugar pint of drink and this had been served to us . After speaking to the bar man it seemed like he did not understand the severity of this incident and was very blasé at the importance of getting this correct . It is important that the bar staff are attentive and careful when pouring drinks to stop this from having a detrimental and serious impact on people’s health . For my daughter, in particular, it is not as simple as ‘dealing with a high blood sugar’ and it is likely that this would have resulted in hospitalisation if she had not been smart and quick enough to question this. Please train all of your bar staff on the importance of providing what the customer has asked.

When we visit the area with our caravan we always stop to have food at the old hall farm. We’re always guaranteed good food and its a perfect place to visit with our 3 children as they have a great play area at the back. We decided to visit Old Hall farm twice on our visit due to this reason and the first visit we were served by the wonderful Alyssa who was very helpful throughout and the second visit Matt, Reece and again Alyssa was very helpful during our stay and we cannot wait to visit again in the near future.

Beer flat food bog standard and very overpriced

After a long day at chester zoo its the perfect place to dine a relax with the kids. Alyssa who served us was very friendly and helpful and gave us excellent service Its overall a very Family friendly pub with good food with the carvery always a big hit , reece and matt also gave us great service, will be returning soon.

We went for a family meal (13 of us) and once we ordered, the food was prepared and arrived at our table very quickly (except for an adult meal, a kids meal and a side of fries that we had to remind them we had ordered, but then that came out within 7-8 minutes) All in all, it is a nice place with hood food at a reasonable price.

We went to this pub for lunch. It was comfortable and noticeable clean. We enjoyed the food very much. The place was nicely decorated. Lauren came to our table and asked if we were comfortable and were we enjoying our food. We will be going there again. Thanks.

What a lovely family evening meal. Lauren was exceptional, went above & beyond, a credit to you. Every establishment should have a Lauren. The food was great, big portions, hot and prompt, the play area outside was a big hit especially in the sunshine. The facilities were clean and all staff were friendly. Highly recommend

Nice place to have a bite to eat we popped in on our way back home after picking up some things we won on eBay it was a nice ride out and we was going to stop at McDonald's but didnt fancy a burger we stopped at the designer outlet and stopped here great food and great service if we're out this way again this will be a definite stop for a bite to eat

Well greeted nice comfortable seating really good menu food vegetables was excellent meat unfortunately beef was tough and fatty surprised chief didn't see but overall really good and enjoyed, deserts sticky toffee pudding was bland cheese cakes was too bad but didn't hit description overall enjoyed the experience

My first time here, & oh my the food is amazing. I have never had a burger as good as the one I had tonight! The pudding was fantabulous too! The team are lovely & friendly! Karla was absolutely awsome, so friendly & chatty, plus it helps we both love Disney!

Good food but didn't have any carvery left at 6pm on the Sunday so we had to order off the menu. Small play area outside great to keep kids entertained. Service was good. However, £3.20 for a regular coke/lemonade was a rip off

All of the staff ensured that the gluten free person in our party was safely served. All the food was served quickly and hot. The drinks were also served in a timely manner. The carvery was lovely too.

Visited today and was served by Tina at the door and the whole experience with her was amazing. Couldn't have asked for more and she is a credit to the company. Thanks again Tina.
