Went to have coffee and cake on a busy Saturday afternoon. It was busy, but this was due to the nice weather and limited staff. The choice of cakes and treats is really good, staff are friendly and efficient and we had a lovely rest. The red velvet cake was delicious and the cream tea was so fresh and yummy. Well everyone at the cafe.

The toilets in the cafe are really decrepit and dirty, which put me off ever eating food in the cafe. However, my children were very thirsty after playing on the playground and wanted a cold drink to take away. There was a long queue of people who were getting ice creams so I asked as I only wanted drinks for my children if I could just pick and pay for them. A young boy serving said “yes”, then as I was asking my children what they wanted, he said “I’m sorry , it’s all one queue”. I asked if that meant I’d have to wait in a very long queue of ice cream being scooped to customers individually and he said “yes”. It was so impolite and unfriendly and they ended up not getting my money or custom. What an ineffective way to run a business!

Nice cafe with pleasant staff. Dogs are allowed in but must be kept under control which is fair enough. Food and drinks prices average for these kind of cafes. Very busy weekends and in the summer months but open all year round. Parks well kept and well worth spending a few hours in with free parking, lots to see and a children's playground. Geat for families and walkers alike. What's not to like.

Delicious tea and bara brith & Welshcake. Prices are reasonable and lots of space to sit inside and outside. Great place to end the walk.

We ordered three meals, on a quiet Saturday. Prices very reasonable. Two meals arrived after 25 minutes. The manager told us the third meal was on it’s way after 45 minutes. We’d given up waiting and had got to to leave when manager offered a refund. We could see other people having problems and calling the manager over. I got the impression, although trying hard, she had no experience of running a cafe and her staff seemed to be a youth of school age. The food that did arrive was well cooked. Very limited menu.

I only bought a coffee (good coffee) from the shop and then ice-creams for two our little ones (great selection of flavours) but the range of food and drink was amazing! The lunches range from packed lunches to hot meals and I could have easily fed my fussy bunch but we had already done our own picnic for the day! Highly recommended and well-priced, too.

Despite the odd layout of the serving hatch the food was good and not bad value, we seemed to arrive at a busy time and could only find a menu once we had reached the serving hatch after queuing for a few minutes. A prominently displayed menu would have been a help.

Popped into here for a quick bite to eat and drink after going around Mold doing some shopping. The location of the place is ideal as it's located right on the main crossroads of the town and within a very short walk to the other shops in Mold. I found the staff to be very friendly when I entered and they made me feel at ease. I bought a cup of tea and a slice of cake (Persian lemon cake) all for just over £5, which seems reasonable considering other coffee shops. The cake was superb and a decent size for a slice - no scrimping here! Also, it is a nice location to just enjoy a cup of tea whilst watching the world go by, especially if you manage to get one of the window seats. I did notice they had a good choice of drinks and cakes available on the menu, so there should be something for anyone who chooses to visit in the future. Highly recommended!

This used to be a lovely place and the Sunday lunch used to be really nice. They’ve decided to put the prices up and cut the portion sizes now, I questioned about the children’s meal size and apparently it’s tiny now it’s a different chef and wouldn’t even suit a 10 year old. So had to buy an adult portion. Even the 10 year old finished the adults meal! Will never return

Cracking local pub, excellent food courtesy of the hungry cow and a pool table too!
