Food really great and great service

This is my local and I try to support my local businesses but this one is just very inconsistent. Sometimes it's good but others not so much and today was the latter. I only ordered sweet and sour chicken balls and one had a huge hair in it, the others got thrown out. I'm done with this place now, I really cannot recommend it, will go further afield now.

Sadly, the food was late and by the time it arrived it was of poor quality and although the containers were warm, the food was not as hot as expected. Having had great food in the past, we are disappointed.

Rubbish experience. food was over 40 mins late and was Luke warm when arrived. rice was sticky and congealed. chicken was soggy.. threw most of it in the bin.

Disappointed, poor food quality with this price. Salt & Pepper Squid wasn't crunchy, too much moisture, difficult to chew. Satay Beef, beef quality is just ok, but no flavour itself. Sauce doesn't taste like proper satay. Roast Duck was not roasted?

Tried plenty of other Chinese's in the area - but this one was supeior by far; hot, tasty, well cooked, good portions. Will be ordering from you again, me old china!

Ordered king prawns in black bean sauce there were only 5 tiny prawns in rang them and they put phone down on me tried again and they won't answer the phone now. Terrible service

Terrible food, couldn't have been cooked fresh, as the time it was delivered was too quick for cooking and delivery.

The food wasn't great on this occasion, disappointingly. I've had food from here before and it was good. I am sorry to say the sweet and sour chicken and the rice were like warmed up leftovers.

Thought we would give old china ago despite the bad reviews and have since Ordered from here many times and the food is always piping hot, well cooked and tasty. One of the best Chinese takeaways in Milton Keynes.

Have been extremely unwell since eating this on Sunday. So have my two friends who ate this with me. Although delivery time was very quick the food has put me off eating Chinese ever again. A part/ full refund would be appreciated as I haven’t been able

Amazing food! Highly recommended!

Ordered sweet and sour chicken balls and chips. Chips ok and chicken balls absolutely uneatable. The batter I simply can't describe the taste but it was that bad I simple bined it. Removed the chicken for my dogs however even the chicken looked bad. Looked old and chewy. Bined that too. Worsed Chinese ever. Should of taken the reviews more seriously but I thought can't be that bad.

The chicken balls were reheated and hard and the ribs were so chewy and sharp, the sauce was nice and the special fried rice too , but overall for £35 not great

I have been using Old China for a long while now. The delivery times are always efficient and the meals always great. Mistakes have been few and mainly centred on opposite preferences on noodles, 3 or 4 times ever.

Food good as usual with very speedy delivery.

The experience was horrible. The man was too lazy to come upstairs and tried to blame it on the parking which I had said was free and then when I got the chicken it had gone off. I spoke to someone at just eat and she refused to give me my money back of £7 on a £22 order. She closed the conversation before I could even screenshot it and refused my rights to complain

chips were a bit overcooked rice was dismal but the curry and fuyung were lovely 😍

Have ordered from here many times and always enjoyed it.. but today it wasn't as nice. The sweet and sour sauce had a weird taste and the ribs were not in bbq sauce, not sure what the sauce was. disappointing 😞

Have used the delivery service for a very long while now. The food that I’ve ordered has always been very good, the delivery service always efficient. Tonight, I received an exceptionally great meal - cooked to perfection (king prawns involved) and the delivery was ultra fast/efficient. So impressed, I needed to give this review - something I wouldn’t do normally. Thank you ‘Old China’ , so impressed 👍🏻

Poor quality, weird satay that was 80% veg, but the pot of satay sauce is a different sauce (which was thick and jelly like) Overall, a sad experience.

Do not waste your money or time Placed an order through deliveroo. It said 25- 35 minutes it took around 10 phone calls and a live chat with deliveroo that went on for over half an hour. To cancel the order and request a refund. They were too busy but still taking orders. Couldn't even find our order when I phoned. Made out it was out for Delivery but we doubt they'd even started preparing it. It was already 40 mins late then they just kept saying it will be there soon driver is just pulling up soon. Was 1 hour 50 mins total Do not waste your money or time. Extremely poor service Would not recommend. Steer clear of this one.

Understand that it is busy. Still good quality food and worth the wait.

ordered a couple of simple dishes and being a Saturday evening was expecting an hour wait. I wasn't expecting to have to chase the delivery 30mins after being informed your driver is on the way only to be told it's going to be delayed by a further 30 mins. I wouldnt have minded if it had been lost/forgotten and cooked again but it turned up what can only be described as warm. NO apology from the driver and the usual "sorry your food is delayed"

The chicken chow mein had virtually nothing but overcooked noodles. A serious lack of chicken onions and beansprouts. It was unseasoned and tasteless. Even when I put soy sauce on it, I just couldn’t be bothered to eat it. Very poor indeed.

Great food and arrived a lot faster than normal

it wasn't the best chinese curry I've tasted. I ordered 2 special curries, one of my quests didn't like prawns or mushrooms, so when these were taken out that dish was left with a couple of bits of beef,onions and gravy. the other portion was fine. the taste was OK, but not to my usual chinese curry experiences. marks out of 10,,,,,7.

Had cooled down, quite tepid, Arrived 1/2hr late. Used this Chinese twice, 6 months apart, both times very late, first time an hr late. we are 5min away!... Foods okay, so will consider collecting, but never again for delivery.

rang the old China at 20.10 was told delivery would be approximate 20 minutes. It arrived at 20.50. That is 2hours after l ordered it. No apology. This is not the first time this has happened

they messed up and had to refund the money. the service was appalling, and to make matters worse, they lied that it was on its way and blamed the weather and traffic. I said it was a great race away, now I won't use them again. disgusting service

Tasty, good portions. Really pleased. Delivery was about 20 mins late but everything else was spot on.

Don't normally do bad reviews but the staff were so rude. Thought I would. Pancake rolls weren't cooked rice was soggy and sticky and they overcharged us On phoning them to complain the staff said your not getting a refund do what you want and hung up. Great customer service. It was our first visit Won't be going there again. Think about how you want to spend your hard earned here

I ordered my food at 6:30pm and didn’t receive it until 8:50pm. At which point every item was completely cold. I have requested my money back. I did call the restaurant, but they just said they were very busy. It was New Year’s Eve, but that’s why I put in an order early, and if they couldn’t fulfil it, then they should not have taken the order. I don’t like to leave bad reviews, but unfortunately this is a fair reflection of the first (and last) time that I will use this takeaway.

We love our usual Chinese but they don’t deliver so gave these a try as it’s New Year’s Eve and they deliver, big mistake, the worst food ever, big portions but all bland no flavour cold, fast delivery but that’s the only good thing unfortunately…

Chicken in yellow bean - sauce very watery. Food overall not as good as we’ve had from here previously.

The food was good. I just had an issue with the delivery guy. Our flat is on second floor and I have a 1 yr old baby to look after. But the delivery guy asked me to come down to get my order and said it will take time for him to look for our flat though there is a map each floor for easy location of room. Hence, I carried my daughter down to meet him outside on his car. This is my first time to go down and take my order, previous delivery men delivered it in front of my door. Delivery people sho

Quality and taste of the chicken noodles is very poor . The chicken is very hard and the noodles tasteless - sorry for the bad review but people are paying for this it should at least be edible

Lovely food at a reasonable price

We order from you regularly and this was the worst meal we have had. The chilli beef strips are normally our favourite but they were very greasy and inedible

The delivery man was very friendly

It could have come from an S&M store as the beef was like leather and the noodles were like rubber. I threw the beef and noodles in the bin. Prawn balls were nice.
