Mister Law in Milton Keynes

I tried to make payment by card & cash, having the exact money ready, the wonton kissed her teeth at me at least 5 times telling me no I have to pay £10 by card and the rest cash which I explained kindly I don’t have that on my car but I have exact money. The women continued to be rude. I asked for salt & vinegar on my chips which she never done & I had all of 9 pieces of chicken in my chow neon, Would have been better off making noodles and curry sauce at home, chips were rock hard. I won’t be eating from here again. This women is so rude!

Wait time to get your food delivered is ridiculous

Needs a revamp tbh the signs on the back wall have been there since I can remember. Well over 20 years

Ordered tonight at 6.15pm and still waiting at 7.55pm.had to ring. Was told 5 mins driver then turned up with wrong order. Do not expect to wait hour 2 hours for a takeaway.

FOOD IS TAKING 50 MINUTES TO COME TAKING FAR TOO LONG LOWER THE TIME ALOT MORE

Our go to Chinese takeaway. My wife has been coming here for years and will continue to do so. Always collects, and is always met with a friendly face.

Awful. Don’t waste your money 🤢 uncooked chips so greasy and food was terrible quality. I threw it out it was literally inedible. When I rang all I received was sarcasm

Mister law more like check the law , ordered and was given some rice with an ingredient in that could have killed a family member when returned and asked why it didn’t state this ingredient on the menu I was returned with a very rude woman who gave me £3.80 back out of the 31 I spent , honestly update your menu we are in 2024 Will not waste another penny here

Food was very bland, not tasty at all. Tasted burnt and rushed!! Waste of money, wouldn’t personally order from here again

Been going here for few months been ok but today truelly let down ordered food for 7.15 pre booked still never arrived at 8.30 after chasing order up got lots of excuses

I've ordered here bout 6 times now and everything has been perfect it's great as u get so much choice

The food is very nice, I had chef special szuscian mix dish (chicken, beef, pork, king prawn and veg), also had Salt and Chilli Spare Ribs with Egg Fried Rice, they threw in prawn crackers, however I ordered food at about 5:15pm, requested delivery for between 7 and 7:15 pm food did not come till 8pm, I range them twice to chase them up, I know it is christmas eve and I imagine it is very busy but they should message people if they are running late, not just keep paying customers waiting. It would be 5 star if they arrived on time or messaged to say they were running late.

Ordered from here for the family and it took over 2 hours. Service was shocking no apologies or refund was given. Food was cold.

Disappointed, today i have ordered 2 pieces chicken and rib meal -two portions, but i went home, opened the box and inside was only 2 pieces chicken without the ribs, same in the second box.

Always use mr laws wouldn’t go anywhere else for our Chinese meal. Their salt and pepper squid is amazing aswell as all their other dishes

Just had 2 x large cod and chips delivered and I must say it was the best cod, very hot and crispy on delivery, than I've had from any other vendor, it was great, very well done Mr Law 👍

Pretty good, standard Chinese take away, with a decent menu. Order over the phone and pick up, but in-shop service in pretty quick. Always parking available and usually some form of 'entertainment' from other users of the nearby shops!

The food was very bad. Couldn't even swallow the food. Got normal noodles for chicken chowmien. Disappointed!!!

Ordered a small piece of fish it was very dry and cold and disgusting, even my dog refused it. Horrible. Never will I buy fish from here again. I had to put it in microwave, also my order was here within 15 mines which means fish was not cooked from fresh.

Worst service ever for a Chinese place they told me 10mins waited and when I asked for my order was told it's not ready I have to wait for another 5mins, then I questioned how she served people that were behind me she said do you want a refund rude much.. No sorry for the wait found the young lady to be very rude won't be coming back.. appalling customer service..

I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN. Absolutely awful customer service from the young lady at the front. Frowned face, no smile at all. After talking to me in an unpleasant way, I went ahead to order special chow mein and special fried rice with no pork because I promised wife and the kids but I nearly changed my mind. Got the food, reached home, wife opened the food, it contained pork which we don't eat. I took the food back, she offered to give me another food with no pork, I refused and collected my money. I sometimes order nearly £50 of food for the family. It was better when Mister LAW himself was there. NOW THEY GIVE YOU AWFUL SERVICE WITH DISGUSTING FACE AS IF THEY ARE A FOOD BANK.

Great Chinese take away! We ordered twice from there and it didn't disappoint. Chicken chow mein and chicken with cashew nuts are great. Delivery although takes a while, always arrived as advised on the phone on time and delivery men were always nice! We will definitely use them again!

Ordered online for collection which is extra arrived at the suggested time but left waiting 10 minutes later I seen the sever put a order into a delivery bag I then stood in front of the counter to get her attention she carried on serving others then I spoke to her and she took it out of the open bag 🎒 I complained she said there busy this was 35 minutes after first ordering food was luke warm chicken balls have the size they used to be Never again

Does not even deserve a one star. Will never buy from here again!!! Very poor customer service. And not only once have I been subjected to this kind of poor excuse for customer service. That small lady taking orders was very rude as if you are queueing for free food when she talks to you. No courtesy and respect at all. Don’t be on the front line of your business if you can’t even talk decently to your customers. We customers bring business to you. You can do with a little smile on your face when you talk to people! Food is not even that great. Don’t waste your money on this😡

My husband said he wanted Chinese tonight I fancied some cod so placed an order for Chinese and English food I cannot believe the disgraceful Piece of ‘cod’ I received pictures attached it went in the bin shame on you !!

Kung po more tastes and looks like sweet and sour...and after the meal food poisoning for 2 days so far...

The relevant services should control the quality of food. Extremely do not recommend.

I think it's a hit and miss at Mr Laws. I think they've changed the chef it's gone Down hill over years. Think I'll find another venue.

Had Chinese takeaways the last 2 Saturdays.....absolutely lovely ....

Was told it would be an hour for delivery baring in mind they are at Netherfield I'm in Fishermead. After 1.20 phoned and they said another 15-20 minutes. They would give me 10% off my next order. I don't think so this was my first and last time in ordering from them.

It's always been a great place for getting good quality food quickly

I’ve never had a problem with them. Longest I’ve had to wait for them is about 10 minutes. Portion sizes are good, they do me 3 meals and they’re not bad prices!

The food was absolutely awful. The oil smelt and tasted old. The food was dripping in oil it seeped through the paper and after we ate it we all needed the toilet. I don't live near there so had to just stay home or I would have gone back and complained. I couldn't eat all of mine. None of us ate all our food. I was just so shocked at the poor quality. The spring rolls didn't taste fresh either. I will never go there again.

Only ever use mr laws for our Chinese always flavourful food and really good portion sizes won’t go anywhere else

Rice was dry and pork curry was not made properly

Just recently had a try of this takeaway after years of knowing the owner had changed for a while. Personally I would not recommend going if you’re into food with taste. The food is quite flavour less for me. The costumer service was quick. The rice quality was no where near as before. They used to have the best special fried rice I’ve ever had, but everything has changed now. The store is looking bit rundown. The rice was soggy and tasteless or bland. Was very disappointed. The portions of meat in the blackbean sauce dish was so little that majority was just veg and watery sauce(prefers thicker sauces). However they do have a decent Sweet n sour prawn balls. Price was very friendly, so it wasn’t a massive regret afterwards as it was only a £35 order. But I don’t think I’ll be ordering anymore from this place, unless they improve the quality. Hope this review helps.

Mr Laws staff have no idea what customer care is, if you walk in your kept waiting because their customers for delivery take priority, but on ordering this evening at 7.15 and being told the food would be delivered at 8.26 pm it has still not arrived even after 2 phone calls to chase at 21.18pm. I think they should take a course on how to please their customers and run a successful business.

Fist time i ordered from here 1/june im quite fussy but the chicken curry was delicious! So whoever was the chef that night please carry on.

Ordered food at 6 20 this evening chinese for our family Rang again at 7.45 said sorry we re do your order be with you in 15 mins So at 8.30 it was finally delivered Food was not cooked fresh as was told Everything was cold had to microwave it The prawn crackers were soggy Worst chinese take away we have ever had Never going to use again Would not recommend to anyone Chips very greasy Unhappy customer to say the least

Absolute rubbish food!Ribs not in sauce but in a separate container so not soaked in and ribs were tasteless to and the chow mien was awful in taste.Never going back here even if you payed me.

Best order by phone and collect yourself; otherwise will have to sit and wait... Singapore chow mein can be HOT; I also like the HK style sweet & sour.

90 minute wait, phoned back to be told 30minutes or so, or 10 minutes if collect.Maybe busy but should have been told. Only plus was offered 10% discount.

Mostly good food. Everything was delicious except from the crispy shredded beef which was just over fried crispy shredded beef fat. It was disgusting. Ribs are chopped and I prefer them whole. All other dishes were very good.

Rubbish service!! Cant understand your order and get it wrong!! Over charge you plus delivery drivers have a nasty attitude!!!

I first called and placed my order at about 6:30pm I was told it would take about 45 minutes which is the estimated time any company would give meaning my food should have arrived by 7:15 at 7:30 my food was still not here I called the number I had placed my order on to ask where my food was to which I was had ago at and told to use the other number when calling the other number I was told my food was in its way and would be approximately 5 minutes at 7:45 my food had still not arrived and by this point I had two very agitated young children so I called again to be told I would have to call the driver myself and was rudely hung up on I was not given the number to do so I called back at 7:55 to say quite frankly I was not happy with the service provided and I found the staff manners appalling to which I was once again rudely spoken to and hung up on I will definitely not be using this place ever again as I feel that this was very unprofessional.

Got a special curry omg it was the best

Went in at 10.30 for fish and chips to be told they stopped frying fish earlier they are open to 11 served by a miserable teenager

I ordered mr law today got told it would be delivered with in 1 hour it was 1 hour 15mins after I got a phone call saying that he could not find our address we explained how to get to us the driver was rude and got told we had to go and meet him! We finally found were he was and got back home with the food. The food was cold and has gone down hill I had it a few months ago but decided to give it one last try food was cold and really greasy compared to last owners meat in the beef and mushroom chow mein was really fatty and chewy the sweet and sour pork balls was freezing cold and had a funny taste to them. The roast pork curry has now got less meat in since new owners and was cold as well the egg fried rice was stone cold as well! I won’t be using mr law any more the Chinese on the market is so much better and also better prices and food is piping hot and really nice!!!

It’s convenient for us to get to. The food isn’t authentic Chinese but it’s okay. They used to make an excellent salt and pepper prawn dish but have taken it off the menu.

Love the Chinese food here and my children love the fish and chips! I never have to wait long, the food is always piping hot and fresh and above it's all great value as the portion sizes are generous.

The fish and chips can be a bit dry and they don't change the oil often enough but the Chinese food is good if there was only Chinese food I would have put 4 stars if they only done fish and chips it would be two stars.

Mr law has gone right downhill since the other owners left .won't be using again that's for sure !!!!!!

Since Mr law was taken over by new owners the food is not anywhere near as good as it used to be. Might give it another chance in a few months to see if there is any improvement.

Just had a take out from what was one of the better Chinese Take a ways sadly this was one of the worst meals I've ever had, the food was cold probably because it took an hour to deliver, The chicken in the chicken curry was not fresh chicken, it was obviously frozen and out of a packet. Will not be using Mr Law again.

Terrible service! Took order and quoted 1 hour. Called back 10 minutes later and said there was a minimum order of £30 required for deliver in Wolverton. Joke.

All I can say is yuk ! Soggy and tasteless and that's being kind. Don't bother visiting here. Not impressed at all.

We got a take away from here for the first time ever, as recommended. The currys were not good, however the rice was one of the nicest ive had. Generally I wouldn't go back though as delivery was very late.

Wow! So I've been struggling with where to order my Chinese from as they have all been terrible lately, so a friend recommended mr law I was still a bit unsure, but I will now use no where but mr laws, was so yummy best Chinese I've ever had! Customer service was brilliant and food was good quality and fast! Thankyou and see u again soon! :)

Thought I would try this out. Foolish on my part as the fish tasted funny and the chips were undercooked for my taste. The place looked like it needed a good clean. I wont be going back.
