Old Bull and Bush in Camden

Booked this for a random Saturday lunch for the family, and was pleasantly surprised how nice this pub is. Tasteful decor, comfortable chairs, good options, food was of good quality, lovely wood fire. We did have to wait for over 40 minutes for our food which slightly ruined it but overall pretty good.

Nice ambience, convenient location. Some food was ok Chicken was dry It would have been early helpful for staff to remind to register car: we didn’t spot any notices and ended up with a PCN

The decor and service is great. The Mrs enjoyed her Sea Bass. I was underwhelmed by the dirty burger (the patty is bought in bulk with limited texture), although I enjoyed the chips. It's toppy for £21 and the patty felt like a corner that didn't need to be cut.

Had an amazing birthday gathering with my family, food was amazing everyone was super satisfied. Amazing service by Eliza and straightforward organising by the manager Antonio. Thank you guys you made my day!

The table was booked for 6.45 and the room looked good, but it was cold and unfriendly. I asked why is was so cold and the manager said that the heating was off…. So we put our coats on…. But the food was only warm and it cooled down quickly in the cold room… Well, not going there for Xmas

I had a great experience at The Old Bull and Bush, thanks to the fantastic service from Tianna and Megan. They were warm, attentive, and efficient, making me feel welcome from the start. The food was equally impressive—classic pub dishes with a modern twist. I highly recommend the steak and ale pie, which was hearty and full of flavour. Overall, it was an excellent visit with top-notch service and delicious food.

Just had to jot down a few words about my experience at this cute and wonderful little pub in the heart of Hampstead, ‘The Old Bull and Bush’. Only came across it by accident with my wife and a couple of other friends as we were talking about how hungry we all suddenly felt and like magic, this pub just happened to be right there, so in we went. After a couple of glasses of wine, we ordered some food from their lovely menu and was served from the time we walked in by this beautiful angel, Tianna. She had such an awesome spirit and actually, with hindsight, I think she may have made us spend more than we had anticipated because she just seem to have a way of suggesting what she thought we might like to try, so we tried all her suggestions. (Very dangerous when you’re hungry) Either the Old Bull had trained her well, or she was just a dream waitress. We said that another visit to this fabulous pub was a must if only for the food, well and maybe that lovely young lady too. Honestly, check it out if you’re ever in the area. 10/10.

Surprised this is a 3.5 on Trip Advisor. Food is good, prices are good - especially for Hampstead, and the decor is great.

Best pub food in Hampstead! Fresh fish and salad, tender steaks with vegetables and a great selection of wines to accompany.

Very Disappointing. Service exceedingly slow, waiting one hour for main course after starter and then told it was our fault for ordering a starter and also told that they are very busy. Whose problem is it. Not good enough I'm afraid. This used to be a very reliable place.

The food was delicious, we all had a roast followed by one of the mini deserts. Our waitress Jade was friendly, efficient and made a fuss of our dog we had brought into the dog friendly bar area. A lovely lunch and great experience! Thank you, we’ll 100% be back!

I came in with a very good family friend for my pre birthday dinner. Clemmy took care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious. The drinks were made perfectly and they sang happy Birthday to me which was unexpected but very much appreciated.

We three asked for rare roast beef for a much longed for Sunday lunch, as per the rare beef on the publicity photo on the board outside. Sadly, our beef was really overcooked, the meat was chewy and stiff to the eye. One of the pieces was an end and was so tough it was inedible. Several of the carrots were under done and hard, the roast potatoes were not crispy and it was a great disappointment. We found the service however, very helpful and friendly. A pity the kitchen let them down.
