Brilliant wee place for dinner. Food was great and the staff were lovely. Can't wait to go again 😊

Visited Okome for lunch and had their lunch deal, 2 courses for 11.95. The food was so tasty and such good value for money, the chicken katsu was flavoursome and rich, i did have to ask for more sauce though but the staff were so happy to give me more. I really enjoyed it and would happily reccomend and eat there again to try other things on the menu.

Great little Japanese street food place, love the vibe, love the food and definitely recommend going if your considering this for lunch or dinner.

I had previously given a 5 star review and having been multiple times the food and service was always great however my most recent visit was disappointing. The prawns used in the tempura were not not de-veined rendering them inedible. The rest of the food was great however when mentioning the issue to the server it was brushed off. I was further disappointed to find that the bathroom labelled disabled had the emergency cord cut at the ceiling rendering it useless.

Got a delivery, decent. Nothing to really say about it. Had sushi just about it

The takeaway portion was a bit expensive for just under £12 and was way less in quantity and ingredients than the sit in portion. Not sure if I get a takeaway again.

Ordered online for delivery. Sushi was not fresh, looked discolored and tasted stale. Tempura was overcooked and bland . Had to bin it. Very Dissapointed as it was quite pricey

I gave the food a 4 score as my son got a fly in the rice that he got with his chicken katsu, he mentioned it to the man when leaving, the man apologised but really should have offered my son a discount as you could clearly see it had been cooked or heated with the rice my son felt sick afterwards at the thought of it, but the manager was extremely apologetic and very nice has offered us free bubble tea and meal next time we are in as the lad that served us was just young and helping out if Chris had been in ot would have been sorted, great customer service and will be back soon

We bought hi tea from here and it was really awful. The tea itself was good but the boba pearls were not cooked properly. Some pearls were overcooked and some were extremely undercooked to the point that it was inedible. Will not be buying from here again and do not recommend.

Arrived there at 15:00 without a reservation. Got a table without having to wait. Menu is massive and there‘s stuff everyone will be happy with, even picky eaters (asked for no onion due to sensory issues and it was no problem at all). Portions are big and the food is a solid 10/10. Staff is super nice and friendly - and I was also allowed to box up and take away food i couldn’t eat with no extra charge. Would totally recommend going there.

Had our first takeaway from Okome which was disappointing as it was left at the door which we did not discover for 20 minutes. When we phoned to complain we were told that was what we chose as instructions for the driver. We were shouted at for being unhappy at receiving cold food and that will be the last time we ever use this establishment. Disappointed as we are real foodies.

Ordered boba tea, the tea itself was alright but the tapioca was very undercooked. Waste of a fiver. They also forgot half my order and when I phoned them to get me the other half they made the same mistake.

The food is ok but the wait time for the staff just to take your order (on a day where the restaurant only has 7 people) if you don't book is long enough for me to get all the ingredients from different stores, then waiting time to serve is enough for me to cook it and eat it, wash up the bowls, pots and utencils then go watch half a episode of young Sheldon. Hopefully the wait time will change

Food is great. Excellent selection of vegetarian food too. It is tasty without swimming in grease. Would recommend.

Wow what a wee gem of a Japanese place. Staff are super nice and friendly, food was amazing and lunch time deal is a steal ! Will be definitely coming back for more! The salmon and rice was incredible. Sushi is on point and the miso was delicious too!

This place used to be good but this take away is a joke, to pay that much for a rice bowl for 2 bits of brocolli and be able to literally count the beansprouts with nothing else is poor

1st visit, but it won't be my last. Great food & drink choices. Food was delicious and great portion size for lunch.

As always, everything was delicious! If I had to give one tiny negative, it would be that the chicken katsu curry didn't have much curry sauce

We always get this to go, it is absolutely delicious. My fave Japanese spot for their rice bowls. Highly recommend the beef bowl & the kimchi beef bowl (it is spicy!)

Lovely Japanese food, very fast service. Waitress was very attentive. Not cheap eats but not exactly expensive either. They also have a wee shopping bit where you can buy ramens or unique Asian desserts such as matcha ice cream, mochis etc

Was just here with my son. I’m a vegetarian he’s not. We were so happy with our meal! The staff are great. Waitress was wonderful. The chef cooks with love and you can taste it. The salt and chilli tofu is a work of art. I am quite picky and I can cook myself so when I go out I want to taste things I can’t make for myself. These guys did it. Thankyou so much. We had a really fun night. Really impressive.

One of, if not the, best restaurant in Clarkston, employees are cheerful and happy to help and the food is delicious. Have never had a bad experience with either take out or dining in. Highly recommend.

Had a meal in Okome on Saturday night, sushi was some of the best ive ever had. Service and staff were friendly and helpful.

The food here is absolutely amazing, the service speed is usually quite fast, and there's always a really happy atmosphere 😀!

Shocking delivery driver ,what a nasty woman .my husband went to get the food and she screamed at him as he did not receive calls .the signal in mallots view is bad .even if the food was okay it was ruined by the initial transaction. Sorry but won't tolerate this this kind of behaviour again .no from me .

The food was delicious & plentiful. The girl who attended to us was very helpful in explaining the menu. As we were the only people in that lunchtime , there really was no atmosphere.

Every single time I come to Okome or order it online, it’s always 10/10. Honestly, it’s so hard to find restaurants that smash the assignment every time and these guys definitely do it. Food is consistently amazing and the costumer service is on point. Special shout out to Arran who is super kind and helpful - Don’t change!

Love it in here normally, food is great. Service overall is good, apart from the Asian lady who waitresses and is in the kitchen. Her attitude is not very nice, not welcoming and speaks rudely and abruptly. Once we'd been given our food, nobody came over to ask if we needed anything else. They were too busy chatting, eating and drinking in kitchen area. We had to go up and ask for more curry sauce, water and other things. Even after that, nobody came to clear table for atleast 30 mins and I had to ask if they could pack our leftover food and have dessert.

Love this place. Everytime I order its fresh hot and delicious. Can't wait to dine in the restaurant itself. Never disappoints.

Visited Okome multiple times. Have always had amazing service & great food. Had a slight issue with my order last time but was resolved straight away. Best restaurant in Clarkston!

I placed an Ubereats order for bubble tea from okome clarkston as I knew they served hitea which I’ve had many times before and is one of my favourite places for bubble tea. However this experience has been horrible, I ordered 2 milk teas and 1 fruit tea. The fruit tea was good and was as expected but the milk teas were horrible, the tea itself was alright but the tapioca pearls were a mix between hard (which they aren’t meant to be) and some chewy as they normally are. We left the teas in the fridge as they arrived lukewarm and decided to drink them after they cooled a bit and because of this when we did drink them their ubereats page had closed. As someone who frequently visits and orders from hitea for bubble tea I was very disappointed. I’ve ordered bubble tea from Okome in Shawlands and it was amazing, everything was as expected but after this experience I don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again.

Okome food is very flavourful, specifically Bibimbap and Spicy Tofu Ramen are our favourite, regularly ordered dishes.

Food was OK, tbh was not that tasty. Won't be back. Pretty basic restaurant as are.many Japanese restaurants, bright but actually cold. Our evening was just OK

Food was quite good but it was quite salty. Bathrooms were nice and clean and very clean and hygienic shop. Probably would come back again as food was quite nice.

Every time I go to Okome, there's one thing that sets it apart from everywhere else. The food is phenomenal, the workers lovely and the atmosphere is great, but what really sets them apart is consistency. Every time I go, it is the same fantastic standard, the same portions of food, the same set up every time. I'm more likely to go to Clarkston for Okome than I am to travel into Glasgow for any of the other big names.

My first time trying yakisoba with chicken and vegetables and I couldn't have chosen a better place for a heaped plate of it. I also tried the vegetable dumplings and the ramen and they were good, slightly less flavoursome.

Just had a lovely dinner in here with my daughter its by far the best and cheapest Japanese place food was lovely fast service

This is my second visit to Okome. The food was delicious and service was fast and friendly. I always find there's a nice atmosphere in the restaurant. I enjoy the decor and the place looks spotless 👌 I'll definitely be visiting again 😊

Been here a few times and it never disappoints. Food delicious. However, there is a new girl (Scottish, short dark hair, wore flowery top) who keeps scratching her head and playing with her hair, it doesn't look very hygienic. Maybe someone could mention to her.

Have been down here many times for Ramen, Gyozas and Sushi even went down on my birthday I would highly recommend this place if they liked Japanese. Staff was friendly, super quick on delivery and great value for money!

Absolutely delicious! Chicken Katsu curry bowl, beef Raman, chicken gyozas and a Happy Set sushi. Definitely ordering again. You are missing a trick though not having Eaglesham deliverable on just eat/deliveroo etc (we are only 3 miles/8mins away) however no problem for delivery when I called the restaurant.

One of the best takeaways in the Southside. Freshly made, all fresh ingredients, and tasty in one. And, apparently, healthy - but who cares when it tastes this good.

Just finished our first takeaway from Okome Clarkston. Ordered through website which was mouthwatering in the presentation of the menu. Made it really difficult to narrow our choice - so many great photos. After much deliberation, we chose the seafood chahan, nigiri set and dragon roll. Embarrassed to say that we scoffed the lot in under 15 mins - didn’t come up for air🤣. Great food, super fast delivery and superb value for money. Now our no.1 choice for sushi in the Southside.

Delicious, authentic Japanese food. Had the chicken gyoza and yaki soba and it was top notch. Recommended.

We sat in and had the lunch special - sweet and sour chicken. It was excellent, fresh and clean tasting, best sweet n sour I've had in a long time. Sticky rice was lovely too. Great value at only £6 each for the meal. Will be trying the take away in future

Ordered chicken and a seafood yakisoba, was very disappointed hardly any chicken in pot and both very tasteless. This was the first time we ordered from Okome Clarkston and won't bother going back.

I am really impressed. Me and my fiancé went today, 8/1/22, for lunch got the chicken katsu rice bowl, sweet and sour rice bowl, chicken gyoza and cheesy kimchi fries. It was absolutely delicious, especially the cheesy kimchi fries! Chicken was delicious in both the rice bowls! I honestly feel the prices were valid for the quality of food and portion size. We will 100% be back again 😁

Tonight was the first time ordering from Okome. Simply amazing food. Delivery was 25 minutes earlier than expected and was Delivering outside of clarkston. Overall very good experience and will definitely be ordering again.

The food is really good, but if you order for collection you need to double or triple the waiting time. Last night i ordered and it said 30 mins, i arrived at 45 mins (as this happened last time as well), at 90 mins i was still waiting, and it was the same for other customers. I was given the response that someone had just ordered £150 worth of sushi, so in other words that order which came in later than mine had been prioritised.... And my time is clearly not valuable. As i said the food is really good, but most likely I wont be back.

Price hike just 3 days after it opened. Quality average. Will not go again if price the same.

Really good food at very reasonable prices.

The sushi I ordered was really nice. The tofu and avocado salad was far too sour, and the chicken yakitori had a lot of fat in it, making it unpleasant to eat.
