Great food and service. The only problem we had was it is quite noisy due to the high ceilings.

It is about time a neighbourhood like this had a cafe/restaurant where people can meet and enjoy a good meal without leaving the area. Having said that, I’m sure plenty of people will come some distance to enjoy the atmosphere.

Average selection of veg. Staff ok not exactly pleased to get the custom. Pointedly told when we had to leave table.

Private party that was great, super service, food was outstanding and staff couldn't be more helpful, great location for public transport and ample parking, can't recommend highly enough.

Good menu, staff very friendly and helpful. You can dine in or outside (depending on the weather) live music once a month. Also dog friendly, nice location no heavy traffic, parking can be tight as it's street parking only.

Nice lunch and attentive staff...a tad on the pricey side and felt a bit claustrophobic in there-could do with perhaps removing a table or two especially given the ongoing pandemic.

Lovely place....love taking the kids here for brekkie after dance classes on a Saturday. A hidden gem.

Absolutely love MJs, the cakes are amazing. I've been for lunch and just coffee and cakes both sitting in and taking away. I've noticed too that we'll behaved dogs are allowed in and also in the outdoor seating area which is brilliant as not a lot of places are up to date with allowing dogs in.

Nice little brasserie. Modern decor with a small outdoor space. Got the eggs benedict /BLT with mayo and cheese on a focachia bread/ chilli bowl/hot chocolate/ 2x cokes/ 2x cakes all for £43. All the meals were delicious tasting. The chilli bowl could have done with a little more mince but still tasted nice. Service was great too. I'm sure it was with a smile but covid protocol was being followed stringently. I stay a fair bit a away from its location but would go out my way to go back.

Just had the best filled ciabatta . Wee bit pricey but so scrummy and great to this take away open at the moment.

Over priced £8.50 for half a sandwich and soup, £3.20 for a flat white coffee. Not even that nice.

A very enjoyable meal in comfortable and safe surroundings. Staff were attentive and friendly. Very much appreciated since we were accommodated at the last minute.

Last night we unexpectedly ended up in this lovely restaurant for dinner when our table booking elsewhere fell through. The food for all 5 of us was absolutely delicious and they had plenty vegan options for me despite the last minute booking (they even had an amazing vegan chocolate dessert!!!). Staff were so friendly and professional, really glad we ended up here!

Great food and coffee absolutely no complaints

Food is fine. Staff are great. Cake a bit dry(2-3days old)? And could do with soft furnishings to dull the noise level. (Cushions on seats would do it) but will go back at quieter time.

Realy good food and nice friendly staff

My wife and I had tried repeatedly to "drop in", but , without a reservation, it was hopeless. Until recently. Very busy. Well liked by the locals at lunchtime! Menu is very similar to Moira Jayne's in Polloksheilds. Staff are amicable and helpful. Would always try for a table when I was passing.

Simply great food. Visited on an open mic night, so the live entertainment was fun. Ate from a set menu and the food was fantastic, menu was not over priced either. Well worth a visit.

Chicken and bacon salad very disappointing, 2 tiny chicken strips, minimum bacon and a loads of salad leaves, oh I might have spotted half of a cherry tomato too. Miserable portion

I was here Saturday 17 August 2019 to watch some live music and have something to eat and drink. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and the music was delightful. All in all a fantastic experience and I will come back again. I highly recommend checking this wonderful place out.

Not impressed. While it was perfectly acceptable for me to have half portion of mince and potatoes on first visit (can't eat a lot - however, my husband had a normal size portion of his meal) when we returned 2/3 days later, different chef apparently who refused my request for half-portion(if I hadn't felt so unwell would have left immediately but we had no transport and my husband was hungry so no other alternative -and to my surprise, when my plate arrived, it was the same size portion of mince but a double helping of mashed potato! We shared a dessert + I had glass of wine and Steven had coffee. Definitely won't be back. Serving staff were lovely and girl who had served us on our first viisit was amazing but although she didn't say anything, I felt she was embarrassed at my request being denied -the meal was lovely just far too much and couldn't finish.

A very good local cafe with well prepared, tasty food and great coffee and cakes.

We have visited for an open mic night and we're very pleased to find out that the offer an evening menu with delicious vegetarian options. Very enjoyable night and super friendly staff - I'd recommend not only for an open mic evening (even though the music was a great addition to food - or the other way round). They have great selection of drinks and cakes as well. I expect its even nicer on a sunny day! :)

First class service and great food, reasonably priced.

Much improved and worth another visit to see if that continues. We've been before and never been convinced by the attention to detail. Wrong food coming or something simple like a baguette arriving when brown bread ordered. Dramatic difference this time in both service and food quality. We'll be back to see if that continues.

lovely place but disappointed with their baked potato.....dry and tuna very dry with no sweetcorn....not everyone likes sweetcorn but surely easy too ask????

Asked specifically for the five bean chili, was instead brought meat chili without being told it was meat..!! Was only informed it was meat chili after asking the waitress to please double-check, because I was suspicious due to the smell and look of the chili - was told they had run out of bean chili and so had just decided to give me the meat one! Sorry but that's just not acceptable, I don't eat meat and my basis for this could have been religious or due to allergies etc. I should have been asked if meat chili was an okay substitute or told there was no bean chili left, which would have been totally fine - I would happily have ordered something else and waited patiently, it wouldn't have been a problem! As it was it was a close call :( in all fairness, they comped my replacement meal and drink, the meal was tasty and after saying I can't eat meat they made some fresh bean chili for me, and I am thankful for that. hence not giving a 1 or 0 star review. but for future, please don't try to give someone something different to what they ordered without asking or checking first, or without telling them! dietary requirements are quite serious.

Getting more like the Parent Restaurant Moira Jane's, as Time goes on. We really enjoyed our Soup and a Sandwich lunch. Starting to lose the New restaurant I've for livid in and comfortable😎

Cullen sink was top drawer, sandwich was so good! Staff were very helpful, polite and new the job😎
