Just recieved my delivery and it was barely warm. The sausage was half battered ,the chips were disgusting like they have been reheated. As for my onion rings were a sloppy mess.will never use them again. £15 wasted. Would not reccomend to anyone

Verry slow service.poor chips,poor quality burgers,scruffy shop.give it a wide birth.

Awful food the chips tasted funny, the gravy tasted watery and pie even tasted bad definitely won’t be going back

If you're looking for the ultimate chippy tea then this is the place to get it from. Friday night and looking for take out options, I thought it was ashame fish and chips couldn't be delivered. I went looking on Just eat and discovered 'oh my cod' did delivery! I ordered fish and chips and the homemade tartare sauce. It was probably the best chippy I've had! Perfectly cooked chips, not greasy at all. A generous sized piece of cod in a light batter which was chunky and delicious but then combined with the tartare sauce it was out of this world! It all came in recyclable containers and a large paper bag so not adding to the plastic bag problem. Reasonably priced and good timely delivery. Completely satisfied customer, this will be my regular Friday night choice from now on.

Need to not waste peoples time and update opening times, saying open when not.

£2.75 for a large bag of chips lol it was barely enough to feed the 2 of us on our dinner and the distinct tast of fish on them didn’t go well with our HOMEMADE steak pie 🤢never again

I Got some Chips and Curry from here on Easter Saturday and the food was really good, they have reopened again now with new owners and I was having a chat with them, there is 3/4 guys and they are very nice and polite. They have a lot more addition’s on their menu as well like kebabs and breakfasts plus other things. I will definitely be returning and I have recommended it to friends and family. 10/10

Oh my WORD I ordered a gluten free fish chips and peas en route 10 minutes later was greeted by the entire staff wanting to know what I thought of their efforts We'll to be honest I think they were absolutely brilliant The meal was great and will use the establishment again Thanks to you all and well done Cheers John G

Ordered from here a few times always tasty, enough to eat, the food is fresh hot and chips and fish still crispy. Tonight my order time ran over. The owner was on the phone to tell me he was sorry for the delay and he was cooking my food and it would be out to me very soon. My food arrived not long after with a free ice cream in way of appolgy. The food was great as always. Great customer service goes a very long way many thanks till next time XX

Our first time trying here tonight, got to say 100% scrumdillyumtious I had the steak pudding, chips, peas & gravy 😋😋 Other family members had the fish & chips & they've all said how delicious both the fish & chips were. I would highly recommend to everyone to try here 👌💯

Was passing through Coppull and saw the chippy and thought I'd give it a go based on the great name it's got and I glad I did, nice large fish and exceptional chips, very clean and tidy establishment will definitely go again.

Great food excellent service order was a little late but received 2 tubs complimentary ice cream for my patience which was unexpected will definitely order again

got fish and chips and a jumbo sausage got home to eat it the sausage was cold the chips were nasty warm ups and the fish was cold disgusting place i dont recomend this chippy should be closed down also one of the assistants working without a mask on wont be going there again

When I see people write reviews like its was disgusting went straight in the bin I always think they are exaggerating for effect. Until I tried this place it was absolutely vile. Worst meal I’ve had in 20 years

Ordered my food at 5.05pm for delivery. Was due to arrive at 5.40. Still hadn't arrived by 6.30pm. Rang twice. Just got told we are busy. Yeh so that justifys nearly an hour being late

I asked for Cod & Chips and the cod was rock hard with dark brown batter, the chips were warm and mushy like yesterday’s had been reheated.

Went to O my Cod Wednesday 26 at teatime...staff could do with lessons in customer service, a smile helps and a friendly approach would be appreciated. The fish had a very thick and dark batter...more batter than fish. Will not go there again...very disappointed

Opening times on Google, shop front and website are wrong. Closed when I turned up just before 8, everything I'd seen said 8.30. Hard to use a business if you don't know when it's actually open

I was visiting Chorley with family when came across this shop it looked nice done a quick google search had good reviews and pics i ordered fish and chips and a fish cake bap when i got back to my nearby hotel the fish cake was all burnt and literally black it was not eaten and binned now surely the lady who cooked this saw it was burnt out the fryer but still gave it me that is disgraceful i would never do this to anyone if she is the owner this shop.will go down hill very fast but im sure it was a careless worker 13th aug at 730 i visited never again

Went in 19th march and bought cod bites and chips. Tried to pay with debit card but it was declined 3 times..so nipped Home and got another card and paid with that. But on checking balance with account found had in fact been deducted 3 times on card that was declined!! Went back and staff took picture of amounts deducted and my mobile contact number and was told owner would contact me. No contact been made and I'm out of pocket £12.90. I only live few doors away and I've been a good customer. Staff said their contacless machine has done this a few times so I'm not happy if this was a problem already known about. Where is my refund please?

First time in the local chippy since it's renovation and it's change of ownership. Like the aesthetics of the place, naming of the place non original and corny, but staff polite and chatty. Had the large fish chips and curry. Curry was mild but pleasing to the tastebuds, Fish & Chips excellent. Would recommend. Will B trying the cheese burger. All in all 8 out 10.

Nice friendly establishment caters a lot for the just eat franchise was sad they had no fish available when I visited but chips were very moreish!! Only negative was the lack of fish and think owners should take into account their passing trade also.

Just ok. Chicken burger is of the frozen variety and quite frankly.... yuck. Chips not done properly.... hard in the middle. Sausages ok. What chippy doesn't offer onion rings??!?!?! lol

Went with a friend who had been once already and enjoyed it, he took me and both were dissapointed. Chips not fully cooked through and the fish a little dry. Hopefully just a one off as the place looks great. But my first experience wasnt great im afraid to say.

Called here for a late tea tonight of cod bites and chips. Cod bites were very nice but the chips well wat can i say apart from at least half of them were still uncooked and raw in the middle. So just hope i'm not ill tomorrow..

What a Change from the Previous Business, Nice Friendly Staff, A Few teething Problems at first, but im sure they will be sorted once they get into the swing of things. Fish and Chips was Lovely. I will be Visiting more often. Also Like the fact they are open Sundays. Only Criticism (if you call it that) Is that i would Like to see More variety of Fish Like Haddock Or Plaice

Been this afternoon. 2 of us had fish and chips, they didn't like the batter on the fish and chips wasn't the best. 2 of us had pudding chips and gravy, the chips was hard I think this was due to the fish being ready so they took the chips out way too early so wasn't cook left alot of them, there wasn't much gravy at all and the pudding was soggy. Potion sizes wasn't the best but OK. Nuggets was to well done on the kids meal. Not been open long so hoping it will improve.

It was just average the Chips were bitty and brown and I ordered a small fish it was tiny and all batter and I had to drive back they got the order wrong posh boxes and bags is not enough I've tasted better further away but would give them another chance I just think there is room for improvement

Finally!! Coppull village has got a fabulous chippy. Not only are the chips cooked like they should be, the gravy is devine and the hot curry sauce is a delight!! Now here is the thing fish bites and tartar sauce, for the love of Peter that tartar sauce, homemade may I add, is just awesome. Fancy a chippy tea Sunday well now you can. The place is being run by a team who have a passion for food and that my friends is a winner👏

Thought I'd give em a try sorry to say chips were poor fish bites were not much better and the price wouldn't mind if ot was good sorry guys first and last time. In reply the chips were very greasy and undercooked and the batter on the fish bites was greasy aswel I understand that batter can be greasy when left too long in the wrapper but took me less than 5 mins to get home as this chippy would be the closest but the chips were bad and for me the chips are what makes a good chippy good fish is a bonus maybe it was just a bad day but will stick with another chippy further away Like I said sorry guys

Absolutely love this chippy you can tell the owners take so much pride in it and want to deliver the best, the amount of hard work and desire to please customers is awesome. The food is delicious well worth a visit, the fish is the nicest around by far.

Thanks for the response but not adequate, others may not have ordered what we did or waited 1hr 10mins to be served. Regardless of any federation membership if you are charging premium prices the quality should be premium shouldn’t it? I guess you were overrun the first night with demand and some just got what they got, good for the business but bad for the punter, hopefully your queues don’t dwindle too much if the service continues that way, doesn’t seem like we are on our own with the experience either does it

Terrible food, chips have been burnt the last two times we've been and the manager blames it on the starch in the potatoes!! Very bad attitude from him when we complained the second time Service is ridiculously slow - loads of staff on but none of them seem to have had much training. We won't be going back and would give zero stars if we could.

Visited Oh my Cod this weekend with my family and we was all really impressed! Everything we ordered was amazing. Very clean, friendly staff and fantastic bio boxes that our food came in...the slushy machine and fredericks ice cream went down a treat with the children for afters too. Will definitely be back. Couldn't reccomend them enough.

A lovely 'alternative' Sunday lunch today - Fish & Chips. The owners of this funky new fish and chip shop have injected a modern touch into England's traditional takeaway. Friendly staff welcome you into the newly fitted out Interior. Freshly cooked fish - with a lovely crisp batter and chips cooked to perfection - eaten on the outside patio in the sunshine- perfect! Highly recommend.

Just had the most perfect fish, home made fish cake and home made tartar sauce.....superb! Beautifully cooked and absolutely delicious. Lovely to sit outside in the sunshine with a coffee to finish. We will be back, and recommend.

Picked up a lovely chippy tea for my family on my way home from work on Oh My Cod's opening weekend. We were all really impressed. The fish was delicious and my husband really enjoyed his steak pudding (he's very fussy!). The slushy machine was a big hit with the kids. We'll definitely be back.
