Domino's Pizza - Buckshaw Village in Chorley

The pizza is definitely not a proper Italian pizza. I don't like it, it tastes like paper to me. I can't believe people think this is great and it's what pizza should taste like. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Ordered a veg pizza and there was piece of meat in it. Poor checks. People who have allergies please take care while ordering. I did call and complain about it.

Such a disappointing and devaluing experience.... I live local and ordered by phone and went to collect when the order was declared "ready". I arrived to collect and stood at the counter; there were 2-3 staff working in the kitchen/back-bar area and all basically acted as if wasn't there (one was sorting deliveries I think). Someone eventually shouted over "be with you in a couple of mins" (or words to that effect - was hard to distinguish right from the back of the kitchen). My order was showing "ready" - when someone eventually came over I said I was here to collect my order for XXXX and they said "be a few minutes" (the order screen was showing "ready" - this got quickly deleted by a member of staff). I waited several more minutes and observed two more customers come in who got similarly ignored so at least it wasn't just me. Meanwhile the food being prepared back home was ruined/overcooked as the order took at least 35 minutes from point of order where the phone app states get ready for "pizza heaven" to collection (supposedly 9-14mins). In future we will support smaller local businesses where you can get better quality food, for less, and served by someone who will treat you as a fellow human being.

Food was good however service is shocking. Ordered for collection and left plenty of time. The tracker said the pizza was cooking however when I arrived to the store the pizza hadn't even been prepared. No apologies or excuses... It wasnt even busy just the staff talking amongst themselves.

Amazing food, served to perfection. Fast delivery and friendly delivery drivers, my go to for pizza.

I get Dominos pizza every so often, and it never fails to make me happy. Sometimes, they even have special discounts depending on the time of day you order, which helps. But even all that, it can still be a bit expensive. However, the taste and quality of the hot food we get in return is totally worth it! Not many people takeaways do Tuna as a topping for a pizza.

Terrible customer service. I knew my pizza was waiting to be collected, however the staff told me to wait saying it wasn’t out of the oven yet. I asked again and was blanked by a member of staff who was one of the delivery drivers. Then eventually I got served and I had to point out where my pizza was. No apology was given. It’s was robotic service asking for payment and nothing else. Shocking! Don’t use, sure poor communication and interpersonal skills on display. Make the extra drive to another chain!

This is a particularly bad dominos, our bad for getting Domino’s I suppose. But yeah, terrible service all round.

It's not often I would drag dominoes good name through the roof and certainly not this location. Service and store zero issues but the only problem which is a big problem as it's what there all about was my food experience as the standard severely dropped and it takes a special person and mean SPECIAL person to buggar a pizza ?! whether it was a new starter or just busy in general I could let it sly but it felt relatively dead ! Overall for the money you spend it should come as advertised. The pizzas were underdone not with that lovely golden brown appearance and I feel they were tight with the cheese with the pepperoni passion looking naked is how I'd put it.

Terrible experience. Using the app was quick and seamless. However the app doesn’t seem to talk to the store. When I arrived at the Buckshaw store, as directed to by the app, I had to wait 20mins to pick my pizza’s up. My order was already prepared, it was sat on the hot plates, it just wasn’t given to me even after asking twice. The staff were trying their best but there was no management support and direction which was a real shame! When we got home my daughters pizza had a hair in it. So all in all I wouldn’t recommend using and I definitely won’t be returning. For how much it costs, the experience just isn’t worth it! Shambles!

A very nice visit and excellent food, we live the mini pizzas which are perfect for lunch. The chicken strips were particularly delicious and a favourite with all the family wanting them. Only 4 stars as they only served bottled water and couldn't do tap water for some reason despite having taps.

Ripped off and feel mislead. Stopped at Buckshaw Village to order Pepperoni Passion and Garlic Bread. Charged £24.99. Challenged price and informed correct. Just checked price if I'd ordered online and collected it would have been £15.98. Domino Pizza, you have just lost a customer and hopefully many more as a result ofvthis review.

Ordered 2 vegan pizzas to collect. Waited 15 minutes to be told there was no vegan cheese so the staff would need to drive 20 mins to get more. Then, was told I could not have a refund but only a voucher. This voucher is apparently attached to my telephone number. First time any issues but this experience was crazy! I have serious doubts the voucher will work but had to leave as the situation was ridiculous and stressed me out.

I can only assume that someone on the staff doesn't like me. I ordered the Cinni Dippers dessert and it tasted like someone had dumped salt on it. Whenever I've had it in the past, it's tasted great but I couldn't eat this

It is a branded name but I do think do people actually taste the product in the right way ! For me it’s very very very sweet ! Puts you on rush then you come back down ! Not very generous with topping! Cheese is good thou base not bad ! They do cook it well !

NEVER ORDER A PIZZA FROM HERE! I ordered a pizza! I was given the wrong pizza, then I was told I could have a free pizza as they got my order wrong. The guy on the phone took my phone number (so I could claim my free pizza) didn’t write anything on the system because his manager said he forgot. The manager was extremely rude on the phone and was reluctant to giving out complaints email. Nice one domino’s!

Great pizzas and huge range of choice. Frustratingly there is an additional cost for delivery, but what a difference in cost if you collect with their current 50% off almost everything. An occasional treat.

£3.50 for double decadence! No sauce in sight! Pizza was so dry, £23.00 all together for our order!! What a waste!! Won’t be ordering again since it seems that they can’t read orders!!

Worked here a couple years ago, it was always dirty, the staff two faced and the manager incompetent. From what I've heard not much has changed. Save yourself the money.

UPDATE The service has been going down hill for a while now and what happened today is a culmination I ordered 2 large pizzas and got 2 MEDIUM delivered, rang them only to be told that if it is 10 slices it is large and that both the manager and the delivery guy says so. When I told them the pizza only measures 11.5 instead of 13.5 inches I only got "there is nothing I can do" in reply. Still waiting for the manager to ring me back in "2 minutes"

Past 4 orders something was missing. Fed up of calling up to complain. Ordered a vegan pizza and they send a none vegan dip with it. Pizza was cold. This place is incapable of getting an order correct.

Really disappointed. Normally fairly quality pizzas, unfortunately when I ordered two large pizzas I only received 2 mediums. When emailing their support email, I received no response.

Standard dominos fare - decent service, good pizza

Normally service is good and the pizzas nice if a bit pricey, but this evening it seems nobody was interested in serving. It took about a minute for any of the employees to acknowledge my presence. Another said I would be served shortly. After five minutes of no service, I left. I will not be back! I'm sure there are places with just as good pizzas and far better service!

Rang to place order, put on hold for ages, so decided to drive to shop, turned up ignored by all the staff, shocking customer service, all employees wearing face marks wrong, will never use again

Consistently good pizzas everytime

We go to Dominos for an occasional treat as they are so good. The 'Deluxe' is my favourite, just superb. Order online for delivery, or as we live a little further afield we go and collect. Consistently good pizzas and great service.

Late delivery, wrong pizza, and then was told I would have go to the back of the que for the correct pizza.

Got my wife’s pizza wrong. She’s lactose intolerant and asked for no cheese. After 15 minutes trying to phone, after they’d hung up on her, she had to drive to Buckshaw to take the pizza back. Then the manager, Mike berated her and patronised her like a child, and reduced her to tears. Please avoid this business, the Chorley and Leyland branches are so much better.

Fast service, not a major problem but if you order collection for a certain time the food is often ready quite a bit before so always be there earlier than the time you select.

Absolutely disgusting was lovely when it first opened but has gone down hill big time pizzas way too cheesy and undercooked and the ham and pepperoni smoked like they wer gone off😱😱

Ordered for collection at 7:45, arrived at exactly 7:45, they took my payment and asked me to wait. 15 minutes rolls by, and I've still not been called despite. I go over the the counter and ask where is my order as it's 15 minutes late, and they pull it off the bottom shelf, it MUST have been there since I came in as nothing had gone on the bottom shelf that I noticed during my 15 minute wait. I have no words to explain why you didn't just give me my order when I came in and paid, or why you didn't call my name and I had to confront you. Just pure incompetence from the front desk staff.

Please don't work here or the Leyland store. The area manager Sadiq will force you to work a 90 hour week whilst you're at university studying for your masters, despite asking multiple times for your hours to be cut down and then lie to all their staff stating that you'd quit, when in fact you'd taken sick leave. This is a man whom, sacked 5 staff in one day, his first day. This is a man who expects you to know everything that goes onto every pizza within the first 3 weeks of you working there and will threaten to cut down your hours if you don't. This is a man who is teaching a 17 year old to be "manager", which is clearly a meaningless position according to the dominoes franchise or maybe Sadiq just doesn't know the phrase team leader. This man has no empathy and... THIS IS NOT A RESPECTABLE PLACE TO WORK. And this review is permanent 😄 au revoir mes amis, c’était bien de vous connaître

It's a Domino's - so you know what you should expect for brand standards to be met. This one has friendly delivery drivers and the store more or less sends me what I've ordered. Always loads of parking, easy access and seating available in store. Worth asking about deals on - staff helpful!

Quick service, pleasant staff and red hot

DO NOT USE THIS STORE. 45 mins late on delivery, cold on arrival and a pizza missing. And they refuse to do anything about it.

Placed a large order for a business event, requested delivery time - team waited got.it to arrive 45mins late - no phone call to us saying "sorry we're running late", and no part refund or free product to apologise - poor customer service!

I'm missing my Garlic dip that I paid for was given the wrong one. Didn't get a refund for it. My potato wedges were way too undercooked. Wings were okay. They were quite oily but ate them anyway as I was hungry. Mini garlic bread is good and so are the cookies.

No real choice of filling, did not even know what fresh garlic was.. Not be going again

Very bad experience, i had to wait for 30 min for one pizza to be ready as the girl who made the order forgot to pass my order to the kitchen and no body even appologised

Amazing pizza the gluten free pizza dough was so amazing I had to double check that it was actually gluten free. Best gluten pizza dough I have ever had. A must try for anyone who in celiac, gluten or wheat intolerant.

Delivery driver got lost and food arrived tepid 45 mins late. I'd ring by then and they promised a second order but the first turned up. Then the second. After we'd eaten the first. Badly coordinated and the driver needs a better sat nav.

Pizza took just shy of 2 hours to arrive, lukewarm on arrival and missing large pot of sauce.

Poor service and they got my order wrong so had to wait 35 minutes extra. They did however give us a free starter to compensate

Absolutely disappointed with service provided the staff are rude, the service is sadly lacking. the availability options on there menu is out of kilter with both chorley & leyland domino's. Would not go there again twice I have been and both times buckshaw domino's lacks customer focus.
