My food was stone cold and I now have food poisoning. Won’t be coming again.

One of the best veggie burgers I’ve ever had! And the truffle chips are incredible! Good service and nice atmosphere.

Hidden gem! Very cozy and friendly atmosphere and amazing food, with melt-in-your-mouth beef cheeks and perfectly grilled sea food.

Probably the best tapas we’ve ever had, and that includes Spain itself. Must try.

The food was absolutely incredible. The seafood selection was fantastic, Octopus, prawns and calamari! The flat iron steak and peppercorn sauce was so good, cooked very very well. The team were welcoming, friendly and accommodating! I would definitely go back & it's a must visit!!

Was pleasantly suprised at the quality and taste of food! It really exceeded my expectations. Steak was great, as was the small plates! The service was on point, attentive and fast. The prices are very reasonable.

Excellent small plates, we had to go back to try them all. Reasonable price for the quality of the food, especially compared to elsewhere in Chorlton.

Was pleasantly surprised by what they had on offer. Just a random stop in when looking for something outside the usual fare. Everything we had was excellent and all came at really good price points. Well worth a random stop or even a booking to try it out.

Came here tonight with a last minute booking. The restaurant is very clean and homely. Both waitress were kind, friendly and attentive, even if the place was busy. We ordered few tapas and a vegetarian burger. I really enjoyed my food, the seafood dishes were really well cooked. Octopus was my favourite, but the prawns were amazing too. The mushrooms and truffle croquettes were so so tasty, I’d have eaten more. We were there for less than an hour so the dishes came out well in time. Kudos to them. Definitely recommended.

Went for a family dinner and we all really enjoyed it. Food was really good and well priced. The service was excellent and we felt at hone and well looked after. Will certainly be going again.

Great food and great service, we went for Mother’s Day and despite being very busy they were very accommodating with our booking. Lots to choose from on the menu and everything we tried was delicious

An absolute hidden gem. The staff were very attentive and the food was excellent. All the meals came out hot and were extremely tasty and would definitely come back again. I saw their post on instagram and booked especially for Mother’s Day and the travel was well worth it! It was beautiful and can’t wait to come back.

4 of us ate here on Saturday. I booked a table after seeing some reels of the food on Insta. It did not disappoint. Lovely friendly staff, who made some recommendations for food and wine. I can especially recommend the carne asada and the peppers were really tasty too.

Amazing bbq food, friendly staff. The Bacalhau Fritters are one of the best we had outside of Portugal. Food was served very efficiently, good vibe, prefect for few glasses of wine after a long week. One of the reasons we would drive 300 miles to Manchester to see our family, it's to have a excuse to go to Off the Grid again for a meal again. You knows it's good!

Hands down the best restaurant in Manchester let alone Chorlton. AMAZING fresh food and excellent friendly staff and service. Can’t recommend it enough. Take away or eat in. Just go go go!

Brilliant food and fantastic value

My partner and I visited this place on a whim, and boy we were not disappointed! We both had a burger- great quality and portion size. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Looking forward to coming with our friend this weekend! :)

Just wow! We were sceptical of the average 5 star reviews on trustpilot and always drove past and decided to give it a shot. The food was beyond good, and probably the most best priced place in Manchester for the quality of food you get. The chefs were so lovely and humble too! Please go here and give this place the attention they deserve ♥️♥️♥️

Busy informal "canteen" style place with bare tables and tiled walls. Menu with "small plates" and mains. 3 small plates per person was plenty.

Came for dinner with my partner and baby, staff made sure there was plenty of space for the pram. Food was lovely and came out in good time. I would say this is my favourite place to eat in Chorlton, standard if very high.

A lovely small plates meal all in all! Around half the dishes we had were fantastic and half underwhelmed slightly. We had 2 types of croquettes, the meatballs and burnt ends - all of which were tasty but lacked a little oomph. The chicken and parmesan croquettes were just fine whilst the mushroom and truffle were much more flavoursome. The meatballs felt a little underseasoned and the BBQ sauce that came with the burnt ends was tasty but a little sweet for my taste. The Squid and the aubergine Parm were, however, incredible. I'd come back for the Parm again alone - stunning!! Would definitely recommend you check Off the Grid out, I'm keen to go back and try the rest of the menu

Unbelievably good quality of a range of dishes - something for everyone (we had 3 grandparents, 2 parents, 3 kids). The service was faultless as they brought everything within a minute - and we ordered many varied dishes. Good value, great place.

Nice selection of food,very tasty and reasonably priced. Friendly staff. It would be good to have a side salad on the menu. They only had a Greek salad, you could have the option of with or with cheese price?

We were a late showing for dinner and they kindly accepted seating us a few weeks ago. I had the Carne Asada (chimi churri steak) and it really hit all the right spots, I thoroughly enjoyed it and in fact I'm craving it right now, which reminded me to leave this review... No complaints from anyone else around the table about their food that night either, so it must all be good. Though we were a hungry football team that night so maybe that helped... Still, recommend, nice people. (Thank you for seating us so late!)

Fantastic place to eat a some small plates. The pork belly burnt ends and the halloumi in honey have to be some of the best dishes! Outside bit at the front is nice in summer. Relaxed vibe. Fast becoming one of my go to places in Chorlton.

Been here twice now, both times equally impressed. The burnt ends are delicious, steak very impressive high standard. The lamb dish is very tasty, but I was blown away by the chicken burger and how juicy the pulled chicken filling is. Very different to anything I’ve had before! Definitely will be back again soon.

This place is turning into a favourite of ours. Good food, good atmosphere culminating in a great night. We’ve been here a few times with the kids too and the food for them is great. I highly recommend the pulled chicken burger and the flat iron steak :chefs-kiss: My one gripe: the beers a bit warm. The wine was chilled to perfection.

Definitely this is not a Portuguese restaurant even though you have two Portuguese dishes. nonetheless the food is amaaaaaazing and prices are very affordable and friendly staff. We loved it!

First time going here the other week with my girlfriend. The food was top notch and the girl serving us was brilliant. I had a burger and Girlfriend had a hanger steak. There was a large table in that night (with a very loud and annoying Charlied up chap) so the waitress explained it might be a wait. She brought us some complimentary olives and breads which was lovely. Overall a great addition to Chorlton and another masterpiece for the double Zero guys.

Absolutely mega Portuguese restaurant. Everything was spot on. I had the ribs and pork burnt ends to start which were so tasty and tender and then the peri peri chicken for main which again was ridiculously tender and the sauce was beautiful. Come here over Nando’s any day.

Would highly recommend - loved it! Staff were super friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The food was very tasty with great portion sizes. And such a fun atmosphere and music. We really enjoyed it and will definitely come back!

Took 30mins to get drinks, we got food after an hour too. Our server Lucy was great! But it seemed that she was the only member of staff on the floor at times, credit to her. This place needs some management & structure desperately. Food was pretty decent. Clearly had the right tools just no direction

Food was great, if not a little cold, but there was only one waitress on and they had an unexpected influx of people to the restaurant - the waitress was lovely x I think the small plates menu is brilliant

I've been here three or four times since it opened and most recently last night. The food is absolutely brilliant. The menu has changed. Slightly and it looks like there are a couple more mains on there but each time we go, there's been between 2 and 8 of us, we tend to order three dishes each and just share and there's always plenty and everything bangs. The prawns and the burrata and the beef cheeks are standout. As are the chips which I honestly think are the best chips in Manchester! The salads and the broccoli are also always excellent too. Its just great.

Great meal with a wide choice of delicious dishes. Really liked that you could go one of two ways - share a bunch of smaller dishes or enjoy one larger one to yourself. We went with the former and must have tried 3/4s of the menu. Highlights included the grilled lamb, pork burnt ends, beef cheeks and grilled prawns. All beautifully cooked and served and leaving me eager to return. May opt for a single dish with the big dishes of steak/chicken/burgers all looking tempting. Also worth noting that that it was byob, meaning you can splash out on more food! Only downside is that in winter, the table by the door is particularly chilly/windy. Especially with deliveroo drivers coming in! Opt for a table towards the back if possible. Understandable as it was before a busy period but it but proved hard to convince staff to move us, even with a baby at the table.

Great mix of Spanish, Moroccan, American food that is healthy and tasty, good atmosphere will go again.

The food was delicious. You could tell it had all been freshly prepared and that quality ingredients are used.

Octopus and truffle croquettes were disappointing, but everything else was lovely and we had a nice time.

Visited with my husband and teenage son. We loved both the food and the cosy but modern atmosphere. Small plates were excellent value and absolutely delicious - some of the best calamari and octopus I've had in the UK. Staff were all really attentive and couldn't do enough for us. We'll definitely be back.

Got there at 8:30pm. Food came 10pm. Feel for the staff but needs to at least be conveyed to customers if it is going to arrive at the table that late!

Incredible food!!! The small plates were delicious, very good value for money, staff were super friendly, and the Spanish/Latin music and vibe were fun - it felt like we were abroad. And to top it off BYOB for a £1.50 corkage fee per person. This is my first review, because you cannot get any better than this.

Hidden gem! Very impressed with the food - didn't know it was BOYB, but nipped home and got a bottle. Friendly staff and fast service - they need to shout about this place more!

Excellent tasty food and service - recommended

Late review but came a few weeks ago with three friends. The menu was incredibly inviting. I opted for a few small dishes and my friends all ordered some small dishes and mains. Between us I think we ordered half of tbe menu! There was nothing that was served that disappointed. I was far too full for my patatas bravas but they knocked my socks off in spice! I passed those on to a friend that has a much better appetite than me! The service was really good - Emma served us. It was very relaxed. It's byob for alcohol which helps keep the costs down. Finally, a special mention for the churris at the end. They were spevial. My onky feedback would be to offer a hot drink option that isn't coffee. Either a decaff or hot chocolate. Other than that, the place is perfect and I will be back soon.

A new addition to Chorlton by the same people who brought you Double Zero. Off the bat, the Peri Peri chicken is amazing, both succulent and full of flavour. The ingredients are generally of very good quality also. It's BYOB so destined to be a social hub (though the inside suggests a more sophisticated experience). Staff are also very welcoming and friendly. Beyond the chicken however, most of the accompanying food was good but not at the same level. The small plates were nice and with a little more work the food here will truly be standout. It's not quite at the level of double zero yet but it's a lovely addition to Chorlton and I'm hoping it gets the success such new concepts deserve.

Walked past this place and went in to eat on a whim, and we were so plesently surprised and already can't wait to come back! Really delicious food, especially the octopus which was the best we'd ever had outside of Greece. It was BYOB too, which was a real bonus. The waitress told us that they've only been open for a short while, and if that was the quality of the food in the first few weeks then we can't wait to see where you go in the future! We'll be back!
