The Royals in Manchester

I came from Bradford today to visit Royal MCR. I was here about 8 months ago and really loved the tea and chicken sandwich, so I ordered the same again. The food was excellent, as always a fresh, delicious sandwich and the best tea I’ve ever had. This place never disappoints. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone!

Ordered one english and one desi breakfast along with 2 karak chaiis was absolutely perfect, everything was on point, prices are perfect, service is perfect and food is the best.

A lovely authentic Pakistani dining experience! Visited with family for breakfast and were given large portions for both the English breakfast and the desi breakfast. Really enjoyed the food and the service was amazing. We really appreciated the extra bottled water. Thank you so much!

The only negative was the seating is a lil tight. Other than that the food was great. My stereo typical Pakistani mother loved every bite. The chais were good too. Highly recommend it. The staff were amazing. Friendly, helpful and also know how to communicate. Keep up the great work.

Food was one of the best English breakfasts I've had and the chana and puri was really nice. Staff were really friendly and nice. Will defo be back again, Jazak'Allah.

We went for brunch with my family. There were 11 of us and each one of us really enjoyed our food. Everything was freshly made, and taste of food was authentic. The staff were really kind and friendly. The price was very reasonable and the portions were generous. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. The food is made fresh and to a very high standard unlike some big name brands… I would highly recommend visiting and supporting this small business and I hope to see it expand soon to allow for more seating!

Everything I have tried is sooooo good!! Amazing traditional chai too!

One of the best Halwa Poori Channa I've tried in the Greater Manchester area. However, the Chicken Paratha left a lot to be desired. Despite the abundance of sauce, the paratha was very dessicated, with little to no moisture. Definitely a miss for next time. The heater under the table was a nice addition. Some of the food was nice and the service was acceptable. We will go again to try their other dishes.

I had a fantastic experience at Royal Village! The staff were incredibly friendly and approachable, always making sure customers felt welcome and taken care of. A special thanks to Shahzab for his warm hospitality and excellent service! The Halal English breakfast was absolutely perfect, delicious, well-prepared, and satisfying. I also loved the wide range of Asian tea, coffee, and chai, which added a unique touch to the menu. Highly recommend this place for great food and top-notch service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

First time visiting today after seeing the reviews.Customer service is excellent and they gave the kids extra biscuits and really look after children.Had meat balls with roti which were delicious.Kids had burgers which were nice plus Nutella rolls.We also had the rice which wasn’t all that but I should have returned it so my own fault.All in all worth visiting, prices very reasonable and very friendly😊

Royals is my first go to place for Desi breakfast, had chana, paratha, and qeema paratha there and loved it We really loved the experience and will definitely go again

Above average taste at reasonable price

I wish I took a picture because this breakfast deserves it. Greeted with a smile, I ordered the full English for two, and it was nearly flawless. Perfect eggs, crispy hashbrowns, non-soggy beans (a miracle), and mushrooms sautéed with onions—though a tad underdone but delicious nonetheless. The sausages are your basic chicken sausage, which does the trick. All this for £8? A solid 9/10. I’m coming back.

Very kind staff and the food was amazing!

I had the design breakfast but amended the paratha to saag also. The paratha was lovely and fresh. The channa and desi omelette very good also. The chai very nice and they cater for sugar free, so it doesn't affect your diabetes! Highly recommend this place, it's a but small and could probably do with a refurb, but it's the food that's important and they do that great

i’ve been a regular here for over a year and i’ve brought multiple friends and family time and time again . we LOOOOVE royals. the desi breakfast, halwa puri and nihari never fail to satisfy. the royal juice will cure you . trust me

Had a late breakfast here yesterday. 6 of us spent probably over an hour, relaxing and taking it easy whilst enjoying a really nice breakfast. The food was really good and the tea was the best I've had in a very long time! They also do freshly made juices. Definitely worth trying. If you're used to going to places like Chaiiwalla, then please do try this place. MCR is in my opinion far far better.

Went to drop someone off at the airport and wanted some breakfast on the way back. This was the only place that was open and thankfully it was amazing. The man serving us was so nice. Nihari was beautiful and hit the spot. Overall this was the best food I’ve tried in Manchester considering this was at about 7:30 in the morning. 10/10 you guys out did yourself

Alhamdulillah had a Desi breakfast And i was amazed buy the taste it was exactly like Pakistani taste one we used to had back there. Highly recommend for breakfast they got loads of options

Food was well priced and tasty. The portions were big but meant we could share between two. Service was good and fairly quick, we were a big group and I would say we waited 10-15 minutes. It's a small establishment so seating is tight but other than that, highly recommend!

Visited yesterday for a birthday brunch. Masha'Allah such delicious food and lovely service. We had the halwa puri and the desi breakfast. The puri and prantha were delicious, without dripping in oil. All the food was spot on. Very much look forward to visiting again, insha'Allah. Ordered chane halwa puri and nihari, 3 teas and a fresh orange juice. Came to £25. Orange juice didn't have any pips, perfect for the kids. Enough food for parents and 2 small kids. Delicious food and spicy, kids just had the puri and naan. Would visit again

It's a small restaurant, nothing fancy but the food is above par. We ordered halwa puri, desi breakfast and butter chicken paratha along with chai n black coffee. The puris were soft and the cholay delectable, halwa was just the right amount of meetha. The paratha with desi breakfast was a home made kind, a tad crispy that you'd like to dip in your chai. The only thing I can criticise was the butter chicken paratha, I'd have preferred a bit more gravy in the filling. Overall, it was worth the money and the fact that we were visiting from London, the brunch will definitely rate as one of the trip's highlights.

This place is a hidden gem. Uncle is a cool guy and very good customer service and gave me free chai too. Breakfast was amazing with mango lassi. Definitely recommend for all to try.

Came across this gem of a place when searching for halal food nearby. Loved it!authentic pakistani food and top notch customer service. They were amazing with kids too and our kids normally very fussy when they eat their desi food but they loved the parathas. The owner even gave us complimentary rice which was a very sweet gesture. I could not take pictures of all the food as it was all demolished before I could even take pictures of it. But highly recommend to try their samosa chaat.

Had an amazing dining experience and the highlight was the outstanding service from Shahzaib. He was attentive, friendly, and made excellent recommendations, ensuring everything was perfect throughout the meal. His warm and professional demeanor truly made the evening special. If you're visiting, I highly recommend asking for Shahzaib—he will make your dining experience unforgettable! Also the food was Amazing.

I had a wonderful breakfast today. I ordered desi breakfast. It's the first time I had a good balon Wala paratha. The tea was good. I would definitely come again with friends.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Desi Nashta experience! The parathas were absolutely perfect—crispy on the outside with just the right amount of spice, and they paired wonderfully with the achaar. The chai was rich and aromatic, which gave a comforting, authentic feel to the whole meal. As for the customer service, it was fantastic. The staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive to detail. They ensured that everything was served hot and fresh, and were quick to accommodate any requests. It made the experience even more enjoyable.

This is one of my favourite place to come. This place is small and cosy (not a bad thing at all!) service is always top notch. And the staff who serve are homely and truly respectful. The food is tasteful and you can see so much effort goes into the running of this cafe. Truly remarkable people. May Allah swt bless you all with abundance aameen!

Ive tried a lot of breakfast spots across Manchester and The Royals MCR tops it. The food is always fresh, the customer service is second to none. If you haven’t tried it already i would highly recommend it.

It was so delicious. Me and wife really enjoyed desi breakfast. Staff are amazing they are so helpful and cheerful they really put a smile our face. Food just taste like back home 🇵🇰 just brought back alot of memories by eating at Royal MCR. I want to say thank you to them and we definitely will be coming back here eat again and I definitely recommend you all eating from Royal MCR desi breakfast place. Extremely sad and uncomfortable experience today. We added to our order mid meal and could hear the chef shouting "why couldn't they order everything all at once", he continued to shouting abuse to the young waitress who then broke down into tears. She carried on being verbally abused by the chef until my husband had to eventually speak to him. We called the restaurant owner over the matter, he was fine until I told him we had a bad experience at his restaurant. He did nothing about it. I know why the chefs think they can be so rude and abusive. That poor waitress. Hope she is ok. Don't think I'm going back!

My husband and I had breakfast at Royals MCR and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The customer service was excellent, with the staff member being particularly helpful. When we mentioned my husband's preferences, he recommended a chicken cheese sandwich and even went out of his way to get us biscuits. Overall, we were very satisfied with our visit.
