Proper pub. Had a nice Belgium beer. Not as far out as you think, if you're thinking of visiting from the centre. There was plenty of seating when we visited, and enough room to read or play the board games available.

Quite a small dark place but serves good beers and the staff were great when we were in. They don't serve food but they're happy for you to bring food in from the fish and chip shop next door as long as you clear up after yourself.

A great pub in the heart of Manchester, Liverpool Street. Always a great atmosphere with a nice little area for outside alcohol consumption. They don’t serve food, but rated 3 as they allow you to bring in food from the next door chippy, which is quite unique and adds to the atmosphere. If you do visit, try the Alhambra.

Great pub with a fantastic selection of keg, cask, and bottled beers. Usually a great atmosphere, very friendly place.

Great bar with a huge selection of good beer. The Cask was beautifully kept and the range on the taps made me long to stay longer, but we needed to leave for a gig. They were happy to let folk bring food in from neighbouring takeaways as well. Great welcoming place

Stumbled upon this place on the way to my hostel for the night. Intrigued by the bright blue color, the tiny facade, and the name. Turns out it’s a proper pub with an impressive selection of draft beer and cask ale. Cozy, pretty simple, lots of music posters. Just a good ole boozer and reasonably priced. Quite busy and rightfully so.

Excellent beer and friendly staff. Downstairs to the toilets is a bit of a challenge to those with dodgy knees, but there is a disabled toilet on the main floor.

Great little real ale pub that really lives up to its name. Good selection of well kept keg and cask. I had a lush strawberry sour at £6. Very knowledgeable staff. Small beer garden (it was March, we didn't explore it, but it was popular with some hardy souls). Dog friendly- that's not our dog. Loved it

Relaxed, friendly pub with a great beer selection.

This is a nice little place with a great selection of real ales. We didn't eat there but the drinks were lovely. It was a busy Friday night but service times were reasonable. Overall we enjoyed our visit andI would reccomend it.

If you're in Manchester City centre and you like beer Cask is a must! It's a brilliant pub. They typically have 4 cask ales, all superb quality. They have a great range of craft and international beers, I highly recommend the Augustina Helles! You can also buy fish and chips from the place next door and eat in the pub, although Cask doesn't serve food, this is a great little feature. To top it off the atmosphere is really friendly and chilled and the staff are great. This pub is ace

Good cask selection (unsurprisingly), not ridiculously priced (relative to area) and had a nice atmosphere for late afternoon/early evening on a weeknight. Seemed popular for a post work 'meeting'. Lighting could be improved a bit in the back room. A bit 'stark' for my taste. Didn't eat (not sure they serve food?). You could bring in fish and chips from next door which is a nice touch.

Child angry pub, bizarre as would have been the only customers and ours are well behaved, shame as beers looked great, parents generally have no issue with something like a 7pm rule. Will spend my money elsewhere

Great place for a craft beer. Nice atmosphere and a good selection of cask and keg ales. Bonus: although they don't serve food they're happy for you to bring food as long as you clean up after yourself. Great chippy next door!

One if my favourite places in Mcr. They allow you to bring a chippy in from next door and having a pint with a chippy has to be one of the best things.

Great place to have a chat and listen to some good tunes from the jukebox . My husband and I bought food from the chip shop next door. As long as you take the rubbish out with you when leaving, put it in the bin just outside. Thanks CASK 😊

Get a chippy from next door and have yourself some actually good drinks with it. Nice aircon inside and a small garden outside. Toilets are clean. Thoroughly recommended.

We came for a drink or 2, so we didn't order any food. It's a Hipster type of pub. Good choice of ales 🍺 Reasonably prices. Would try the pub again, if in the area.

Quiet when we arrived on a Saturday at 12:30. I chose a good pint from four pumps on the bar. There is also a huge craft keg choice. German and Belgian bottles. Nice barman. Looked like it could be interesting with a few in. Music I believe. Well worth a little detour off Deansgate.

This is what good bars look like. Really great place, great beers - especially the very lovely wheat beer. Staff are brilliant, friendly and helpful and just a good laugh, you feel right at home straight away 😊 Plus a nice little courtyard out the back. You can bring food in from the chippy next door (Do check first! Do remove all waste!) You'll have a brilliant time here. You might need to turn sideways to get through the front door. I do.

Love Cask. Selection of drinks is constantly surprising. Prices are decent. And it's a semi-regular event having a Chippy & Cask. Or even Meal Deal & Cask. Friendly staff and the outsidey bit is great when you don't want to sit in the darkness of a rare summer's day.

Only spent a short amount of time here but the atmosphere and staff were welcoming. Despite my fleeting visit the place and the fine Salt IPA made me feel right at home, a most pleasurable experience!

Great distillery to visit while in Manchester. They make vodka, gin, rum and absinthe. Our server, Anthony, was great! Found out we were from the states and hooked us up with a list of places to visit while in Manchester. Looking forward to drinking their black cherry vodka we picked up and working through the list of places to try while here.

Just happened to stumble upon this bar. Loved it. We were intending on finding a few places but decided to stay. Had a good natter with the staff. It reminded me of a continental bar. Will definitely make the effort to visit next time I’m in Manchester.

Cask is always a treat, amazing selection of ales that change on a regular basis, with a great choice of permanent beers on tap. Prices like everywhere, have gone up considerably, so I have 1 less beer than I normally would each time!
