Had dinner here last night after a round of golf at Hadley Wood Golf course. I am so impressed by how kind, attentive and warm the staff were. Especially the manager. Genuinely top level service and the food came out extremely fast. Really chuffed with the attitude of all the staff there!

Food, atmosphere and the design of the restaurant are simply outstanding, Customer service is over and beyond that and you feel welcome and at home and frankly one of the best restaurant experience in my life. Thats each time and every time I'm there. 5**

First time at Odos, and was very pleasantly surprised. The venue is tastefully decorated, tables are well spaced out and service from the staff is spot on and perfectly attentive. The most important aspect- The food was all excellent. We had a variety of starters that we shared - and could not fault any - all very delicious. Our mains were equally good - from the tomahawk to share, king prawns, lamb chops and octopus were all great. Would highly recommend- and we certainly will be returning.

We brought some friends on Saturday night, and as usual the food was excellent (the brill is beautiful) the service was superb, the atmosphere was buzzing, and we were completely looked after. Louis and Gerry thank you, you run a fantastic restaurant!!!

Had a fantastic meal here, the owner is a great guy, kept his eye on us while at the same time providing attention and care to all of the other guests in his restaurant. Got the fish special, a whole grilled fish for the table, along with courgette fritters, pork souvlaki, sweet potato, and miso aubergine. Food arrived quickly and we had told them to provide it as it was ready, and we soon had a table groaning with food. The pork was tender and juicy, the fish fresh and expertly grilled. The side dishes equally good. I would love to return, and expect to do so soon.

I have been meaning to come to Odos since it opened. I was not disappointed. The food was amazing, so fresh, so tasty and the staff incredible. Can’t wait to go back!

There really is nothing negative to say about this place. The restaurant itself is warm and welcoming with decor and atmosphere. There were 4 of us. This is what we ordered; Padron peppers Fried feta with honey (my favourite) Hummus Spinach and feta croquettes Ribeye steak x 2 (delicious) Whole sea bream for 2 (amazing) Charred Sweet potato Triple cooked chips Hispi cabbage Chilli and lemon broccoli Fresh donuts with chocolate & hazelnut sauce Pistachio crème brûlée (to die for) It’s not cheap but it is worth every penny!!! We would 100% come back!

One of my Greek friends had recommended Odos, so we ended up booking a dinner for 6 of us. We ordered a bunch of starters to share, but this is everything I ended up trying. The cauliflower was cooked and seasoned to perfection, the cabbage had great flavours (Asian flavours, not Greek), the sweet potato was charred perfectly, the prawns were perfect with a very generous portion and the pork tomahawk was full of flavour. Everyone loved their food - we will be back!

Absolutely gorgeous experience from the moment we were welcomed in to the door to the moment we left. The food was unbeatable and the service was extremely tentative and hospitable. As we mentioned to the staff, you don’t get this kind of service anymore. Beautiful atmosphere and food accompanied by lovely staff, I couldn’t fault it 🙌 I will definitely be back again and recommend anyone to visit, thank you!

we went to celebrate my friends birthday and the booking was originally for 15 and an extra 6 turned up on the night at an already fully booked restaurant but the owner welcomed everyone got us all sat down and the food kept coming, everyone had loads to eat and a great night we’ll definitely be going back thank you

A West End restaurant, but in the suburbs. A wonderful host and brilliant cheese cake. As for the rest of the menu, small. That is a good thing...sufficient choices so what they do is great and you don't need to spend hours choosing what you want. Did I mention the cheese cake...its fabulous. OK so not everyone likes cheese cake...Good more for the rest of us! So why only a 4 on atmosphere. Well the place is packed tight and everyone is having a good time and you can't overhear the conversation at the next table and for some that is disappointing. To not be disappointed book early or else you won't get a table when you want it, why? Because all the rest of us have got there first...that cheese cake is such a lure!

Brilliant restaurant, everything about it is correct, prices, food and the waiters top noch, keep it up and will certainly go visit again.Tried many Mediterranean restaurants this beats them all hands down , aubergines 🍆 were 1st class

Disappointed. After this being a place to go consistently since it opened, I was let down by the quality / execution of the dishes. Same menu, but definitely not the same level Wouldn’t say it was a bad meal, but definitely not at the same level.

Been here twice and both times have been great. The hospitality, service and food are great. Great ambience with good wine selection, few cocktails and small touches such as greeting you by your name when serving you remembered from the booking. Will definitely come back again

We have now visited this restaurant a few times and every time we have been we have been greeted by the owner who had made us feel very welcome and special. We have always had lovely friendly staff serve us and the food is absolutely fantastic every course is excellent I really cannot fault anything about this restaurant I really feel it is local prices but West End quality. I would highly recommend this gem and cannot wait go return in the next few days

Fantastic, fresh, lovingly prepared food and a great atmosphere! We especially loved the baked feta, the grilled prawns and the Greek salad. The baked cheesecake was delicious, too. Looking forward to returning.

Service here is exceptional - staff are delightful. Owner always so friendly and running around taking care of everyone. Food is just awesome - amazing selection and the fish is just perfect. Can’t wait to return.

Having been recommended, we visited for the first time last week with six friends, not knowing what to expect. The ambience was wonderful, with the restaurant tastefully decorated and although the menu is somewhat 'limited', (compared to elsewhere), the quality of the food was simply outstanding, with everything very obviously freshly prepared, while the service levels, friendliness of the staff and the overall experience, was as close to faultless as one could ever want. If you're looking for a fast turnaround budget dining experience, I sugest that you look elsewhere, however, if you're instead looking for a thoroughly satisfying meal, with excellent food and service, in a relaxed atmosphere, look no further, Odos was simply wonderful and we shall be returning soon, which in my opinion, is the true mark of any restaurant's worth.

We have been going to Odos for three years. It has been consistently excellent, serving fantastic Greek food with a bit of a twist and some international dishes. All comes together beautifully, service with a smile and a very reasonable bill at the end. There is a reason why it’s always packed.

Having been on holiday in Madeira where we dined well on beef, my husband had not adapted well to being home and mainly eating fish or vegetarian. So I had to take him to one of the busiest and buzziest local restaurants that I know and love. We started with padron peppers (which I would have preferred slightly more cooked) and a pan fried feta delight in honey. WoW! I shall certainly order that again. Then we had to address his desire for lamb. The generous portion of 4 grilled lamb tops and the yummy hispi cabbage were perfect, as was the large portion of chips which he devoured with satisfaction. We then needed to finish this wonderful meal with a little something, so chose the everso creamy pistachio crème brulee. Again, delicious. So many waiting staff meant that someone was always to hand to answer our questions or bring something extra. Despite the restaurant being so busy, it was good to have time for a quick chat with Louis and Gerry at the end. Apologies for not taking photos, too busy eating.

It’s such a rare thing when the service and the food and the atmosphere and the wine and the quality of the food and the quality of the service and the quality of the wine and the quality of everything in the place Just is outstanding. It’s it’s a great placeand I’m so pleased it’s on my doorstep

We went to Odos Saturday 30th December and were greeted very warmly by the owner and shown to our table The menu is fairly small but I prefer this knowing that it is usually better quality which it certainly was Beautiful corn ribs, chicken livers and tara to start Our main courses were of a very high standard I had the chicken and my husband the lamb accompanied by the aubergine dish which was beautiful and chips which I have had only in Italy and again were delicious We were given melon and fantastic chocolate covered doughnuts which were on the house I really cannot fault anything that we either ate or drank being a lovely bottle of Italian wine I would highly recommend this restaurant I do feel that it is as good as any expensive London establishment but at much more reasonable prices We will definitely be returning very soon

My wife and I were recommended to try this eatery. Unfortunately after dining we experienced a night not to remember. I will not go into any details but you can imagine. We will not be dining here again.

Buzzy place. Food very good although my prawns were slightly overcooked but I guess better than under. Yellowfin tuna starter was delicious. Good place to go. Not cheap especially with decent wine but worth the visit.

Food was superb and love the new decor!

We came here for lunch on a special occasion. We had souvlaki pork, chicken, pomegranate, green salad, hummus, pitta and feta deep fried in honey. The highlight was the deep fried feta and surprisingly the grilled pomegranate. This is certainly some of the finest Greek food I’ve eaten outside of Greece. Nothing really to fault. Will be coming back again.

A large group of 30 of us came this evening and we could not fault the service or the food. Everything was outstanding. Thank you for an excellent evening!

Everything about this place is spot on FOOD, STAFF, SERVICE is amazing I go there all the time and take friends and the food is always amazing.

This was a delicious meal! Meat was tender and soft, the courgette feta balls were a personal highlight! However nothing could prepare for the desert!!! The baked cheesecake was SUBLIME. The donuts were thick crunchy balls & the pistachio crème brûlée whilst not for me as I’ve a sweet tooth my friend LOVED it! All in all a fantastic evening. Also love the tree my friend Steph is going to put one in her flat.

Great service Excellent wine selection Fresh, seasonal produce I have to say that we have long felt that Barnet’s restaurants were in the main mediocre and overpriced. So much so that we rarely eat out in our home town. That has now changed. The menu changes seasonally so if you return, be sure to have an open mind as what you had before may be so last month. ;) But that is a good thing. Excellent portions. Everything we had was delicious. We loved it here and will return.

It's a busy spot, so perhaps they will have no incentive to change but my issue is that firstly the menu is quite skewed towards fish and vegetarian dishes - which obviously is great for some, but not for me. Service was basic - take the order, plonk the food down. Nothing else, not worth the +10%. And secondly it's deceptvely expensive. If you have a G&T, plus a glass of wine, bottle of mineral water, starter and main (mains come alone, hence you need to order extra expensive sides), desert - it's around £90 per person. A lot for a pretty basic place, and the cooking has no finesse. You leave thinking you've "just" had an ok meal. So, a menu overhaul, plus a look a pricing is needed - but hey ho, it was busy on a Thurs night, so maybe nobody cares...

Was a great first experience at Odos. High end greek restaurant with good service. Strongly recommend for a special night out.

I don't remember the last time I was greeted at a restaurant with a warm and friendly handshake, but I'm here for it. A lovely way to start the evening and set the tone for exemplary service throughout. The menu isn't huge and I always think this is a good thing. Some sensational dishes being served up. A bite of chilli brocoli, tripled cooked chips and chicken souvlaki was one to savour. The lamb chops were melt in your mouth and the grilled squid was great. Star of the starter show was the hummus and tuna. Huge fan of the olives at the start and watermelon and grapes at the end both of which are comp. You're looking at around £40 pp without drinks and for me it's well worth it for the quality, service and ambience

Everytime I come here I leave very full. Food is so good I can't stop myself from gorging!

The staff are very friendly and helpful . There is a good selection of options and they do go out of the way to make adjustments. Good value for money and would recommend going.

First class service, though my wife left embarrassed after trying to tip the owner. Anything off the charcoal grill is amazing.

What a bump. The prices are complete extortion for the quality of food. 27 quid for 4 biteaize lamb chops that come on their own and I could have bought them from tescos. Come on now - sort it out, give me some rice or chips or something Jesus. Odos...more like Odon'ts

Great starters (especially Taramasalata and Aubergine with Miso). Excellent fish, whole Brill and Sea Bream. Free Pitta and large bowl of fruit after our meal.

I went to Odos for a christening on Sunday 28th May 2023. Cannot fault it at all . Food was amazing. Fresh and tasty. Presentation was exceptional. The prawns were to die for . Staff were amazing ,friendly. and very accommodating. Constantly checking everything was ok on our table. Will definitely go back. Highly recommended .

What a brilliant restaurant! On the 28th of May 2023 we all celebrated our daughters christening at Odos. My wife and I hired out the whole restaurant for the afternoon and all of the family attended. The food was amazing, the staff were amazing, brilliant service and an amazing vibe. Every single dish that was served was perfectly cooked. Can't wait to go back again, we loved it!

First and foremost the food was awesome. All four of us shared starters and deserts, and sampled each other's mains - everything was VERY good. The service was also extremely efficient, attentive and warm. A really nice ambience, with plenty of space between tables, and located in a nice part of Barnet. We will most definitely be going back.

Best service I’ve had in a long time. Really lovely restaurant. Enjoyed my lamb chops and the rice pudding was very good. I don’t think it’s hygienic though to have high chairs in the toilet. I wouldn’t come here with my baby now knowing that

Beautiful little restaurant, can’t believe I never noticed it before! Have been here a few times now and food is amazing every time, they do the best chicken wings! Lovely cocktails. Service is 10/10, my partner has a broken foot so we were sat near the door and doors held etc for him, was also so lovely to be recognised when returning. Dim lighting lovely vibe and I love that you can see the chefs cooking your food 💖

Wanted a local restaurant with good food. Odos fulfilled all of these criteria. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance and feels warm and friendly. We shared the bbq corn ribs which were just perfect. The Brill looked amazing and my prawns were cooked to perfection. We added in the grilled hibiscus cabbage and the roasted cauliflower. We finished with the Basque cheesecake. Will be returning very soon

My fiancé and I visited Odos for the first time for a birthday celebration on Friday, despite being on our doorstep for 3 years! I do not normally write reviews but after giving feedback direct to the owners and us both continually raving to family and friends this weekend, it is a must be shared. All the food was absolutely stunningly delicious and came out nice and promptly. Complimentary olives and a fruit platter were presented which was a really attentive touch and made us think of being abroad and not Barnet High Street! For us, it was the service that truly made this evening which was EXCEPTIONAL and old school hospitality at its finest with the owner(s)? greeting and checking on all tables throughout! We will not hesitate to rebook in the summer where we hope to enjoy all our dishes in the sun with some Rose and lots more small plates! This restaurant it a MUST! Thank you Odos Team again for such a memorable evening

A really great local restaurant. It is very difficult to find fault in anything, from the impressive decor, food choice, food quality and the service. It is a cut above anything else I can think of outside of going into central London. Will definitely be returning.

Wonderful lunch celebrating a big birthday, food fantastic as always and service impeccable especially as there was a large group of us. They really went above and beyond with my toddler, entertaining him and even giving him a chef’s hat. They were so friendly and it really took the stress out of dining with a little one because they were so hospitable. Thank you and we can’t wait to come back again.
