Been coming here for years and service has always been great, so have always tipped the staff. Until 2 weeks ago, it came to paying the bill where the service charge has been added, only to find out it does not go to the staff. I was absolutely outraged by this information. Will not be returning. I WOULD AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!!!!

The food was absolutely delicious especially the grilled salmon. The staff were very friendly & kind. I went with my children and they said it was one of the best meals

I’ve been a regular customer at mani and nicks for a while now, since it’s been taken over by new management it’s been absolutely amazing, the, service and the new staff have just made my experience here phenomenal, the manager is the most down to earth man and genuinely a very lovely chap, the food used to be decent and is now amazing coming from someone that is here everyday and has tried almost everything on the menu, they know how to look after you and cater you to their best possibilities can’t imagine dining anywhere else!

Was recommended by a friend and was not disappointed. Excellent food so much variety on the menu to choose from. We ordered the Salmon, burgers, chicken wings and hash brown. Everything was absolutely delicious 😋 already planning to try their breakfast next 👍

I had an amazing lovely time here at Mani and Nick’s. The atmosphere is very calming and welcoming and the food itself is very appealing and exceedingly delicious. I would definitely recommend this place for friends and family. Nonetheless, the staff are friendly and the manager himself, who I’ve met, is also very welcoming and indulgent as well as kind to all customers who come into the restaurant. Once again, would definitely recommend this lovely place to attend with family or friends.

This was the best cafe I have ever been to in a long time everyone works hard the manager is really polite. The food was really good definitely improving by a lot overall 5 star I just loved it

Great customer service and friendly workers!

Food quality has gone down (clearly there’s new management). Could see only one chef in the kitchen who clearly looked overwhelmed, no wonder food quality was bad. Seems like the waitresses are putting in more work than a young man who sits down in a tracksuit and makes the young girls work like dogs! The service from the lovely ladies was immaculate just a shame they work under dreadful management. The talks about mani and nicks going downhill is clearly true. Will be going to a new breakfast spot on the broadway for sure.

The service was rude, and the food left much to be desired – the bacon was burnt, and the sausage seemed to have been taken straight out of the freezer. A huge disappointment.

Food quality below decent. Had higher expectations when ordering shakshuka. My partner had traditional breakfast with literally burnt bacon and tasteless sausages. Very much overpriced for that quality for food. Thank you to kind waitress for serving us.

Went for brunch with a friend on a Friday. Two buggies and they were happy to accommodate and give a good table so we had space I had the waffle, very nice, warm, soft, fluffy. Service was a bit slow. I'd go back again.

Have only ever had fabulous experiences here. The service is great. The staff are always smiling and friendly even when it's really busy. Food is delicious and plentiful. They also have a great loyalty scheme so every now and then I get a free coffee or side dish. Loads of vegetarian options. A real gem on Mill Hill high street.

My Brother is a big foodie and this is one of his favourite spots in London.

Just popped in for a coffee and a croissant. First time, and the staff are lovely friendly and helpful. The coffee was great. Will be back to try other items on the menu.

Lovely atmosphere, lovely being served by friendly, helpful faces. Have stayed in there with just coffees, cocktails, dinner, breakfast, and lunch (not all at the same time).:) for hours. Also, never rushed. Food very good. Definitely recommend.

We arrived very late, 25 mins before close. All I can say is they were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The food was nice and so were the cocktails. I would definitely go back again.

This lovely restaurant is a great find as Mill Hill can be a bit hit & miss when it comes to relaxed, friendly dining without breaking the bank. There seem to be lots of cafe's or style over substance venues so Mani & Nick's really hits the spot. The food was delicious in particular the enormous pittas that must be home made and in fact all our tapas style dishes couldn't be faulted. A lovely surprise was a great bottle of red at house wine prices. From outside it looks a little austere but once inside there is a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The only things I enjoyed at the restaurant were the cafe latte and the corn ribs. The other items were not worth ordering. I ordered that particular main course because they were out of the lamb shank which is what I really wanted. Not sure I would try that place again. Also, getting served initially took a while and it seemed like people that were seated after me were getting served before me, rather irritating!!

Very friendly and attentive waitresses and nice atmosphere. I came here for brunch and had the mushroom on toast which was delicious. The cocktail was nice too - I had the strawberry daiquiri which tasted very fresh, but I would have preferred a bit sweeter. Good value for money and I shall return. Thanks Mani & Nick's!

I was actually craving a good beef steak but disappointed that it was not on their menu anymore. So I went with a burger, and was pleasantly surprised by how beefy and juicy it was. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Good service, decent portions, tasty food. Gave four stars as soft drinks seemed to be limited...they were out of orange juice and only had one other option. Also our first choice of meal not available . However, we enjoyed what we eventually ordered.

Came in here for dessert, specifically the waffles, which were amazing, great choice of toppings and not soggy in the slightest. The music, decor and atmosphere were great and the staff were so lovely and friendly. Definitely need to come back for dinner sometime.

The food and service was impeccable! Mira and Charlie were very hospitable ladies, amazing vegan options, the mock lamb was delicious! Can’t wait to come back.

This cutest little spot in Mill Hill did not disappoint. From the food to the customer service, everything was amazing. Rosa, the young lady who served us was so caring and made the best food recommendation. It was a lovely brunch!

We have dined there as a family twice in recent times. There is a very good choice of food and it is always excellent as is the service. Highly recommended.

I went for lunch with my parents, and we sat in the pleasant outside area, which is in the road taking up a couple of parking but sheltered so you wouldn't know – they did a great job with bricks and planters. Service was friendly and quick, and food was excellent. There was a decent selection of vegan and veggie meals among the selection. I had mock duck, with humus and pitta, and it was really good. Even my carnivore parents liked it! Mill Hill has traditionally been quite poor, crowd pleasing stuff, but this has some of that, but by no means only that.

Excellent healthy breakfast here. Friendly staff with good sense of humour.

Had the falafel and hummus, It was dry and tasteless. Worst falafel I have ever had by far. Very dry !

The best restaurant we tried during our visit to London. Extremely nice and helpful staff, not to mention the food. The food was excellent. We will be back there soon and we are already looking forward to it. PS: The Red Velvet cake was amazing. ❤️

Took grandkids for lunch. Good food for them and they enjoyed it. What spoilt it was a table of middle aged women who were so noisy we had to go as soon as kids finished. They were screaming and shouting like a football mob

Was at the restaurant again today and this time I had dinner. Again Mera was wonderful, friendly, polite, professional, very helpful and was amazing. She welcome us with a warm welcome. She deserve a 5 star plus. Same for the food which was amazing, I had a chicken wrap and it was delicious. Well done Chef and keep it like that. Mera keep your smile. See you soon guys.

Been back several times now, since first visited in 2022. Food is lovely. Breakfasts are great, esp. when eggs and sourdough bread are involved! 😊 Atmosphere always pleasant. Service with a smile; helps if you smile too of course. Recommend booking as it can get busy.

The food was really, really good. I cannot fault it. The staff were nice although they seemed rushed off their feet as it was very busy when we went. The only thing about my experience that did annoy us was the kid on a table in there who did keep making loud noises on and off. Nothing the staff could have done really but just a shame the parents didn't seem to care. Not sure we'd come back again but only because Mill Hill isn't somewhere I frequent too often due to the parking situation however the food is good so that won't be a disappointment.

Lovely restaurant.. twas quite busy when we visited. The 2 waitresses on duty were stellar. With bright smiles and a professional manner. The food was reasonably priced. I had chicken burger and sweet potato fries. The Chicken was very dry, but I loved the fries my friend had something from the breakfast menu.. Salmon along with some sweet potato fries. She loved it. I would definitely return if only to sample the breakfast menu

I went here with some friends for my birthday and the food was really great. I had chicken wings for starters and chicken burger and fries for mains. They were both very good size portions so much so that I had no room for dessert. What was nice though the restaurant gave me slice of cake to take home with me since it was my birthday.

First time here. Popped in for a quick afternoon bite. I have to say the staff are exceptionally wonderful. The food,,, hmmm. Had a simple chicken burger with a coleslaw salad. The chicken had a lovely flavour of char from the grill, but couldn't taste the chicken? If it wasn't for the slice of gherkin in the burger there would be no zing whatsoever. The coleslaw seemed to have been sitting in water for soooo long that there was no taste of cabbage and the dressing was again devoid of any flavour. If you are on a heart smart diet with Zero salt tolerance, this place is for you. For me this would be in my top 5 of blandest meals ever had in my life.

Lovely little restaurant, does not have a huge variety, however has very nice and tasty Vegan options. I would definetly recommend. The vegan options are actually tasty and different from most places. Staff was prompt and friendly.

Local cafe in Mill Hill does great breakfasts. Staff are lovely, especially Rosa, who always smiles and has a chat. Downside is that staff don’t stay long, and the whole place is looking a little bit worn out and could do with a facelift - especially the chairs which all have wonky legs!

Food and coffee are both fab, very fairly priced and the staff are delightful. Cheuk-yee and Rosa will ensure you have a great visit!

Had a fantastic breakfast today at this restaurant. The workers were all so lovely and attentive. My waitress, Cheukyee, was so sweet and helped me pick out a delicious dish which worked with my allergies. Overall great food and vibes. Would definitely go again.

Was there a manager in duty? There was a man who didn’t look up from his computer at a back table. One waitress worked hard but inefficiently. As for the waiter.... how on earth has this place got 5 stars for scores on the doors? The customers left big round table in front of us soon after we arrived, not cleared and cleaned. The big table and floor near the window, left dirty and not cleared. The service table which greets customers as they arrive, not cleared and kept clean. The two small tables near us where the customers had left were not cleared and cleaned. In fact the staff on several occasions just moved one item from one table to another. We ate lunch in dirty conditions. Not pleasant.

Followed other google reviewers here and the restaurant did not disappoint. They are a mediterrean restaurant meaning you should expect influence from countries along the med, namely Morocco, Turkey, Greece and Italy. The food was presented well and the staff were very helpful and it was delicious. If I was to highlight something of area of improvement, it was the baklava. As a family, this is generally our choice of dessert because it is a healthier option. There was too much honey on it, which led to it being soft - when it should be crunchy. Use 50% of the amount of honey! A highly recommended restaurant overall!

Had the falafel plate which was lovely! The zaatar touch and the red cabbage salad in a balsamic dressing was lovely.
