Always have a very warm welcome when visiting this pub. Enjoy the company of the locals and yhe landlady. Though if you do visit they don't serve food. Always a good pint though and and good beer garden.

Me and partner came to this pub for a drink my partner went to the tolliet the pub landlady made a comment of of go and use the tolliet then,I asked if they did food no only drinks was made to feel very uncomfortable and we left.

Didn't actually go to the pub - went to the snack bar in the car park. Very good food indeed!

26/1/2025 16.00 pm Just had a roast , had gammon that's what was left , my wife had a small roast one just about cuttable roast , myself had a large roast with 2 roast , the veg was basic all mixed in one dish , the young lady threw our cutlery on the table , plonked our dinners down , but not one person had come to see us to make sure all is OK, BASIC FOOD .....SHAME

Adjacent to Churchdown ClubGood food... eventually Table booked for 7, food came arrived at just after 9 (!)... no explanation in the meantime until we enquired, and all they could say was 'it's Saturday, we may have been busy'... (nearly left without waiting further for our meal) surely this could have been factored in.
