Their sourdough bread is the best of the best. Do get there early, as the bread sells out quickly. It is more expensive but the quality is great.

Love this place. Best sourdough in West London. The smell of freshly made bread wafts along Askew Road _ joyous.

Best Sour dough in London! High quality artisanal bread made with love, passion, and unrivalled skills along with superior quality ingredients. Excellent customer service. While there don’t miss out on what you need for a good complete breakfast to enjoy alone or with your loved ones. You can get high quality butter and award winning marmalades and jams. There is also balsamic vinegar and nut butter. All items on stock are carefully selected for their superior quality and their makers’ ethical values and contributions to their communities.

Cannot fault the product....this shop sells excellent sourdough bread...and who doesn't love supporting local businesses, even when they are preposterously expensive as this one is? Sadly the service here also leaves a sour taste. The person who appears to be the proprietor or at least the main bread-head is actually just plain rude. We persevered for months because we loved the bread, but finally gave up...life's too short to put up with shoddy service. Plus, Gail's Bakery sell the exact same thing, for less money and with a smile.

Delicious freshly cooked sourdough bread with a twist! My favourite is the oatmeal moist loafer. Lovely cinnamon buns too!

The finest bakery we have come across in London, and tucked away just around the corner from us. Truly superb and bread lasts for days on end. The only negative is that it's almost always closed!! I guess someone has to make the bread...

I love buying bread here - highly recommend the rye and caraway and the secret loaves. The take-away coffee is excellent too. And they stock a delicious peanut butter from Mani-Life. The pear frangipanes are addictive.

Top quality pizzas and service. West London’s best kept secret. Ps. The rest of the food and cocktails are amazing too.

We lived in Hammersmith several years ago and then the place was our favourite- not a day without their fab baguette, not a weekend without their amazing desserts (you would enjoy each and every from the menu!) A magnificent taste of real France on the bank of River Thames it was then! Then we moved and only rarely I had a chance to pop in and buy as much as I could to enjoy these treats as long as possible!.. But my two recent visits really shocked me: not a baguette, not a single piece of dessert or tart was the same as before!?! That’s how I discovered what I actually started to suspect: the new owner. Thus - a totally new place, taste and aftertaste… Now I know why I don’t have to take this long trip to this once a gem of Hammersmith: a very average quality of every dessert, a very poor quality of pastries (croissant shouldn’t be called that name here anymore…) and bread (brioche is anything but a brioche here now…) I agree with other reviews, that new owners were too bold to keep the same price level for their products, but the worse thing is, that they also are trying to cut down their expenses by using lower quality (or quantity) of the ingredients. But more importantly, I agree with the statement , that you can’t use the history of this place as your own, you have to clearly tell customers, that you are new there and just TRYING to keep this place as good as it once was… Adieu, Patisserie Saint Anna UPDATE. Received a response from the owner today: “Fake review”,. Sorry, guys, but this one is not fake. As a proof, adding a photo of my yesterday dessert (couldn’t finish it, sorry…). Use to love it so much, but now it has lots of lumps in it, so no pleasure of eating that at all…
