Ockendon Chef in Thurrock

They delivered to the wrong address when told they shouted at me and said there was nothing they can do about it had to sort it myself the food was inedible and cold by the time it was sorted will never use them again only giving a star because I have to

Food was good but gone down hill,eaten from here 100s of times but never again. Best garlic bread with cheese in the area but that’s it

Apparently this pizza is not burnt!!!! The delivery driver stood at my door arguing with myself and my husband that the pizza is cooked and that’s how it comes! Used Ockendon chef for years never again!

I bought a doner roll today 4 £4.70 and feel ripped off. Please provide better value 4 money as your food is 2 pricey

As kebab places go, this one is OK. The kebabs are what you would expect and they have the standard range of pizzas on offer too. The prices are OK and the staff are OK. I have been in nicer kebab shops and I've been in much worse so Ockendon Chef is OK for food if you're in Ockendon.

Always come to this shop. Great staff members and nice to talk to when you get to know them. Great food always clean in the place. The takeaway does get busy like any other restaurant would on Fridays. Definitely worth going

Great value for money, lovely freshly prepared food. I've had both collections and deliveries from here a number of times and have never been disappointed, friendly staff, very clean, generous portions and very tasty....highly recommended!

I love my kebabs, these are very tasty, staff very friendly, portions are decent, and the chips are just as I like them, I always ask for crispy chips.

Usually first port of call for a pizza, wanted something different just after Xmas, got my usual vegetarian pizza. Apart from taking twice as long pizza dough was uncooked, phoned to complain, their excuse was they had run out of dough, made some more but did not leave it for 2 hours to rise, because they were busy. No real apology. They have lost a customer. Will not recommend them any more.

The food is really tasty and the service is both friendly and fast. I would recommend Ockendon Chef.

Very nicely presented food comes very hot when delivered Kebab so lovely a fresh salad all the time chips are nice however they don't do hummus which was a bit of a disappointment for me as a kebab shop they should do hummus but definitely recommend to anyone that lives in South Ockendon and surrounding areas
