If you want a big portion of food at very reasonable prices, the munchbox for 2 is for you. Usually when something is advertised as 'for 2', it's definitely for 1, but this is the real deal. Both the red and standard doner are delicious. The tikka peices are a nice addition. What I would say is the chips could be cooked slighty more for me, but they're still absolutely fine and it's my preference. Overall, will be my go to for big kebabs.

They cook the chips really well. Seasoned nice. Top 3 takeaways in Aylesbury. Staff there are a very friendly and chilled bunch.

The food was amazing, would recommend to everyone. We had the the £30 meat box and there was enough to feed about 6 people easy. Absolute bargain and delicious, will be going to these guys again without a doubt.

Popped in after work yesterday 23rd January to grab some dinner. I had the red donner meat and chips with cheese....omg 😋 it was amazing. I've never tried red donner meat before...loved it. The meat was fresh and full of flavour, the chips were clearly fresh as well and not greasy which makes me happy. 1000/10. I'll definitely be back for more. Best food I've had for ages from a take away

Had a red donner snack box and it was great. The price is also very good, easily one of the best kebab places in aylesbury. All staff are very respectful and friendly too, also very clean!

Don't go anywhere else for your kebabs! This is the munchbox 2 and it is such good value at £11.99. Great service, all cooked fresh - choice of sauces & salad. Definitely feeds two people for reference. Thanks Ocean Wave, we will definitely be back soon! Keep up the excellent service.

Cold chips. No cheese in cheeseburger, wrong sausage. Unfortunately, we will stick with chippy on Berrycroft that we used whilst Ocean wave was closed. Unfortunately, I have only just seen your reply. Thank-you for your response.

Absolutely outstanding food with exceptionally top customer service. Our first time trying Ocean Wave since the new management have arrived. Our meals were perfectly flawless. We had mixed boxes of various kebab and chicken which came crammed with a selection of fresh salad, tasty chippie chips, pitta and they kindly added extra chillies to my box. I've never had a kebab taste this good. I have plenty left for either tomorrow or probably will munch it tonight for my mightnight munchies! Staff are lovely too. Wish them every success.

First time trying food from here and I went all out and got the meat munch box for myself and the family, honestly it was absolutely delicious packed with meat and proper chip shop chips. We barely scratched the service of how much food there was and ended up putting it in tupperware for dinner the next day. I will definitely be going back to try something else on the menu and recommend anyone to try this place.

Recently tried the munch box 2 a couple of weeks back was my first time trying red doner very tasty, value for money is crazy staff are always pleasant and the place is always looking clean. Orderd munch box 2 again last night and did not disappoint once again huge portions 3 types of meat and good old fashioned chip shop chips, a large choice of salad and a pitta this things hard to finish and could easily feed 2 people. Couldn't say anything negative only thing I would want would be a mini version with the 3 meats as a lunchtime option.

Tried the munch box 2 a few weeks back was my first time trying red donner meat very tasty , The value for money is crazy staff are polite and place always looking clean. Returned yesterday for the same munch box and didn't dissapoint £12 for 3 types of meat good old fashioned chip shop chips and choice of salad and a pitta let me tell you this one's hard to finish and could easily feed two people. Can't say a bad thing if I'm honest only thing I'd want is a mini version for lunch time so I can eat it anytime of the day and it not be too heavy.

Not keen. I ordered large chips. The portion was small, seemed more like a small than a large. Plus, the chips were cold by the time we got them home about 7 minutes away. Anaemic too. Also, the cost was £4.49 for a ‘large’ portion of chips. Updated 05-12-24: You replied to my review 4 weeks later to say that you can sort this out straight away. It was 4 weeks ago!

Popped in a couple of times now,, kebab good, chilli sauce good, chips good, tandoori chick burger good… ✅✅✅✅✅ and the boys are always clean looking and welcoming

10/10... love the red donner. Personally, I got the munch box for 1... consist of red donner, normal donner, a generous amount of fat chips, and a burger of your choice. I picked the tandoori burger and doubled it. Enjoyed everything... ooo variety choices of salad. Box was so big I had leftovers for the next day 😋

Cannot review as always closed when it should be open, it's like the owner turns up when they want. I mean not open at 630pm on a Saturday night is not a good sign. Went to the codfather instead and got a great portion of chips and sausage.

This is our local chippy, we have lived in Aylesbury 7 years. After trying a few all that time ago, this one has been the only chippy we go too. Friendly, family run business serving great food. We have never looked back!!

We love our local chippy, however lately he does seem to be closed more, which is disappointing . The food is cooked fresh and are large portions which makes it good value for your money.

The cod and chips here is the best I've ever tasted. The cod is fresh,succulent and perfectly cooked and the chips are perfect too. I haven't ordered from any other fish and chip shop since I tasted the food here!

Chips need cooking for longer as most of them were hard.. Didn't think you could go wrong with chips! Fish cake was cold & dry.

I live on the far side of town from Ocean Wave Fish Bar, but I travel every Friday evening to buy fish and chips for my wife and me. There are several fish shops closer to me but I still prefer to travel the 8 mile round trip to get the best. The proprietor and his staff welcome me like a friend not just a customer, and the food is always freshly cooked. It means having to wait for your order to be cooked while you wait, but it is so worth the wait, and the conversation whilst waiting is always so friendly and topical. I've been using this chippy for about 3 years now and would not consider changing.

Very nice fish and chips bar. You can park on either side of the road to go in. Unfortunately they don't open on Mondays.

Haddock, chips mushy peas and onion rings. Beautiful freshly cooked haddock, not the best chips I've ever had but nicely cooked and tasty all the same. I dropped a star because I felt the onion rings were 'lacking'.
