Chips oily and cold. Shop not clean. Will not be returning.

The food was fresh despite being pretty greasy. Definitely got the job done 👍

The batter only crispy on the edges, and soggy in the middle, What happened to an old-fashioned chip shop, mushy peas, & crispy batter all over? And properly cut chips? Not just bits of chips.. "Sometimes, they have got it right!

Great fish. Wow! Great salad. Wow!! Sadly delivery let you down. Arrived nearly half an hour after I requested so I didn’t have time to visit my wife in hospital. Thank you

I ordered a donner kebab and it arrived with no sauce, the donner meat was inedible it had clearly been sitting for a day or two and when I called to complain I was told the don’t care that’s how they do it! If I can stop just one person wasting their money at this so called food outlet who don’t care about customer satisfaction then I’ve save someone else from being conned by these day food outlets who trying to make a quick buck

Decent fish and chips at a good price

Absolutely shocking this place need a lesson on how to cook chips it's ment to be a chippy all the chips where like they have been left for days the batter on the sausage was grainy and to thick the pie was definitely cooked in the microwave as was like rubber all food when in the bin and this place is far to expensive for the quality of food what a waste of £25

The glory days are long gone, bought my self fish and chips with mushy peas today and yeah what the hell happened to the chips ? Felt like they were reheated or sat somewhere for 24 hours and Cod was basic for the price I paid not worth it. I will now buy my food from somewhere else. Bye bye Ocean Chip Shop :(

Once again I thought I’d try again, but no, the chips are horrible they are all little or hard really spoilt my dinner. And we spent £69 for a family dinner. Batter was all soggy won’t be going again they need to get a new chip supplier cos the ones they use are awful

We have been going here for many many years, having some amazing chips along the way. The staff here are so friendly and kind, the manager is very professional and runs a fantastic service for not only his customers but also his staff. The food is amazing and the fish is always fresh! Highly recommended to visit for some scrumptious fish and chips in Milton Keynes.

Pizza was good. Nice chips. Whilst I was waiting some girls come in shortly just as they were closing but still served and helped them. Very friendly staff from what I experienced.

Good food prices not bad quick service

Unfortunately the salad on the kebabs isn't great. Iceberg lettuce is basically slime by the time it takes to get delivered. Onion is just a wedge not even properly sliced. If they're taking an hour to deliver then you would think they would put the salad in a separate container rather than the half cooked sludge it arrives with.

Absolutely shocking never delivered food and no refund food has gone down hill so much its disgusting avoid at all costs

Total Rip Off. A cheese burger, can of coke and some chips, £8.40. No taste. Not recommended. Don't go there.

I've just had chips from this chip shop it will never happen again as the chips are reheated. When is chip shops in mk going to learn people in mk want freshly cooked food.

We will only buy fish and chips from this business my daughter is well fussy and won't eat from anywhere else.... you cannot touch this business in quality and taste of food .......so glad we found you

Scam and rip off! Overpriced, milkshakes are yazoo drinks that not even flavored milk, it's milk drink..! They haddock is... A cod! And it wasn't not even good one, I know you can't expect to much from frozen cod, but go to your competition! Chips - there are good, but £3 for something that in size and flavorful are for £1.20-£1.50 Honestly... I never ever in my life put so negative review. But false advertising and selling something and giving something else is ilegall in UK, as well as in EU and US! It's outrageous I spend £25 for food worthy £15 and I got not what I order!

One of the best fish and chip shops in MK. You get a lot of chips for the price, and the cod fish are huge.

We got a just eat delivery to my mum's house, it arrived 10 minutes early, was lovely and hot and was the nicest fish and chips with curry sauce that I've had for a long time. I don't live in the area but I'll definitely get a delivery for my mum again.

We decided to order pizza from a local takeaway rather than go for the usual Pizza Hut/Dominos, in order to support local businesses. We must admit the pizza arrived fairly quickly even though we got told it would take an hour due to high volume of orders. We ordered the Twin meal which came with two 9 inch pizzas, selection of starters, desert and two drinks plus dips. The pizza was very nice and the wings really good too. Few negative remarks, the delivery driver forgot to bring our deserts. The guys did deliver the deserts but we only got given 1 slice of chocolate fudge cake even thought we thought it would be two since it’s the twin meal deal. I contacted the restaurant to be told that I should get an option to either pick 2 deserts, 2 starters or 1 of each. When I placed the order this was not an option for me. The member staff they would try it from their end to check what options are given and turns out that I was right. Staff rang back and apologised for the miscommunication and did agree that I was correct. Overall, I would order from these guys again as the food was very good, but the service will need to improved and the website needs to much more clear.

The food in this place is very poor. I don’t like giving negative reviews but honestly, the worst fish I’ve ever had (no idea what was used in the batter but it was thick, soggy and had no flavour and the fish definitely was not cod as advertised!!!) The chips tasted stale and the portion for a large was smaller than a small from other chippys! What a total rip off!! The “customer service” was basically non-existent as the staff were arrogant and rude! If I could give a true score, it would be 0 stars!!

Food for £45 no drink included in meal the chips we ordered was mounted with cheese not evenly spreaded the only thing out of the whole things ordered which were nice was the garlic pizza bread would not recommend for fast food for a family full of fat and grease awful for the price. Just had this for first time never again ordered burger in roll just battered burger came mushy peas look like out of tin pie was really tasteless fish cake was vile and cod roe thin as anything food was terrible

Just Eat why oh why how can you order food at lunchtime not the middle of the afternoon, but lunchtime wait 55 minutes and still have luke warm food. Not just any luke warm food but £22 worth of luke warm food everything from the rock, chips, kebab, chicken breast, large sausage, it was a joke and I have no idea who leaves these 5 star reviews that causes other customers to waste their money on placing orders themselves with these places.

I've been going here for years and its not the best. They're definitely over charging for their cheap products. I've ordered cod twice now and both times I've chucked in the bin because it was awful, I asked for crispy batter in the notes. Comes to me like a soggy jumper. Chips are usually recooked if you go early. Same with sausages. Chicken burgers are awful and dry. Cheese burgers don't taste like beef either. Probably horse knowing beanhill

Rancid fish. My husband chef of 14yrs cut into his fish had a mouthful and was sick. He smelt his fish and it was rancid. We called the shop and they sent a driver to inspect the fish. Driver smelt the batter and said" it smells fine, smell it" whilst sniggering at me, so I said no thank you I have smelt it already. He said it smells fine I said ok give me the fish back then I will get it tested and then we will deal with it from there.He refused to give me the fish back so I asked again and I said to him you can keep your money just give me the fish back and he said no look I have your money and held out a pot with £6 in. He went off with the fish. Shocking service never ever would buy from their again.

Had fish n chips and a few other bits tonight via the Justeat website, the Haddock was superb and cooked just right with plenty of chips to share around. Wont be using our closest chippy anymore, our business will go to Ocean Fish & Pizza from now on.

Food is great. Chips are pealed cut and fresh. Pizzas from here is the best I've every had anywhere else, best chicken burgers and great friendly staff too!😋 Me and the hubby love this chip shop is the best!💟 And if you love jalapenos why not try their mozzarella and jalapeno balls are gorgeous.👌🏽

Wasn't very impressed with the grease laden fish & chips & poor batter.

Put in a large lunch order for work. I found the staff very polite and helpful. The fish and chips were delicious and everyone enjoyed what they had ordered. I would buy from here again.

Me and my boyfriend love this place, we don't live near it anymore but drive all the way there from the other side of MK. Their delivery service is quite quick too. Great food and staff are friendly :)

Very decent chippy - always spot on!!

It's been a while since ordering from here but I have to say, I've missed it! Food arrived in good time, piping hot, all present and correct. There are few places that do such a variety and even fewer that do them so well.

Don't come and dump tonnes of your dreadful flyers in our apartment block when it specifies no junk mail.

First and last time I order from here. Chips were cold and dry with very little salt and vinegar, very dry chicken and odd tasting batter on the sausage, almost like it was cooked it old oil. My kids refused to eat it.

Ordered the ribs yesterday, which have given me food poisoning! Started eating them, before realising they were part frozen!

Have used Ocean many times, in my opinion it is the best takeaway in Milton Keynes. Good variety of foods, polite friendly staff and never had a bad meal from there. Highly recommended!

Awful food. My colleague and I have both eaten from here in the last week and had the worst food we have ever eaten. Not even on the same day which makes it worse if possible,just goes to show anyone can open a food business's these day's. NO STARS AT ALL except had to give 1 to post review.
