Ocean food bar is by far the best chip shop take away. Chris and the staff are professional, service with a smile! Myself and my wife gave been coming for the past 14 yrs since we moved to Fazakerley. Keep up with the good etc Phil and Karen

We have tried the food on a friends 50th buffet few weeks back so ordered for all the family tonight at home on a delivery. Enjoyed everything so tasty and the sweet n sour chicken was the best I've eaten.

Food is okay but my main issue is the boss “Mike”. Went in tonight and it was obviously a busy Saturday so waited an hour. However, the way Mike speaks to his staff is disgusting. Especially, the young boy. I had to leave and my mum stayed and waited. All staff looked terrified when he walked by. I heard him threaten them verbally and physically and had to ask one of them was they okay. Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. Food is average but wouldn’t recommend anyone to go because this man shouldn’t be allowed to run the place. I feel sad going to bed tonight thinking of them poor young people. Mike, think you’re big talking to people like that, I suggest you sort yourself out. Other people in their discussed their concerns too.

This does the best cod 'n chips, never let's me down better than the Good Catch franchise imo fish much bigger and cooked to perfection. 10/10

I ordered a chicken kebab, with hot chilli, tahini and plenty of cabbage and cucumber… What I got, was a chicken kebab with the tiniest amount of cabbage, lettuce (which I hate) tomatoes (which I hate) red onions (which I don’t mind but didn’t ask for) and finally hardly any of the sauces I asked for !!!! Also, chips wrapped in tin foil? I get the logic, but who likes soggy chips….? I did give an extra star, only because chicken was cooked well. Is it me, or do busy chippies always get food or order wrong? Probably because they have plenty of custom and are just not bothered…. LISTEN TO WHAT YOUR CUSTOMERS ASK FOR !!!!

Excellent experience with always top-notch food! We’ve been going here for many years, the staff are always welcoming with a bright smile, meals are always delicious. Would definitely recommend!! 💙🍕🍔✨

If you want some quality food whilst staying near by,you won’t be disappointed with the quality of food and options from here . The fish is really tasty and well cooked the salt and pepper options are great .Everything is well portioned and cocked to perfection. The staff who take the orders are friendly and helpful and the delivery is prompt and also friendly, Well done guys!

After ordering for a few months now with my family when we get together, and when we order it’s a decent bit of money spent, only after tonight we will not order again and have lost not just us as a customer but the people we have recommended it to will never order again which was a fair few. Customer service is disgusting and lies and the staff who like to lie in the background of the phone too. Mixed up our order and wanted us to pay more for the right order! Laughable really

Couldn’t fault my food or the customer service from here. Portion sizes are excellent and the quality of the food is unbeatable. The staff are extremely friendly and polite and I will definitely be reordering from here. We ordered last week after reading reviews picked a salt and pepper box, a char sui fried rice, chips and curry sauce. The salt and pepper box was to be shared between 2 ordered a portion of chips just in case, we didn't need too there was well more than enough. food was delicious. This week beef kung po, sweet and sour chicken both with fried rice and salt and pepper ribs. Was delivered piping hot and was just as delicious. great service too definitely recommend

We had ordered a variety of food from pizza to salt and pepper sui mais for a baby shower. Everything we ordered was so tasty, and you get plenty for your money! I will be definitely ordering from here again

We ordered a buffet for a baby shower and What can I say! the food was amazing as always. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and there was not a lot wasted atall.. everyone asked where the food was from as they are wanting to place orders for future events! We have been eating from ocean food bar for years, always getting a nice friendly service with nice food. We have had a few meals from there tonight & we had to call to see if they had changed chefs, the food was amazing, definitely the nicest meals we've ever had from a take away.Well done ocean food bar ✅Highly recommended.

I had fish and chips in this restaurant for lunch (it’s only take away) don’t be scared of the position, the portion was huge and I must admit it tasted sooo good! It’s even cheep, I’ll recommend it at anyone 👍🏻

One can always get a nice portion of fish and chips from the Ocean Fish bar. It’s always clean and a good amount of staff to ensure there is no long wait - they also do delivery and you can phone your orders ahead.

Best crispy duck on Merseyside, great staff too, go there most Fridays for our weekly takeaway food always excellent.

We have a weekly treat from here every weekend and look forward to it. It is delicious would highly recommend it. Would'nt go anywhere else and we are very fussy about our food.

Puedes conseguir una gama completa de chip tienda Staples aquí, hamburguesas (precioso calidad), China, pizzas, kebabs y por supuesto pescado y patatas fritas. Es como dije su tienda de chips habitual, pero siempre es agradable calidad, comida muy sabrosa bien preparada con abundantes porciones que realmente te llenará. Yo siempre utilizar el servicio de entrega de una noche y el orden es siempre correcto y caliente y el personal es amable y eficiente. No se puede equivocar realmente. : "fish and chips" preciosa )

Been going here since it was originally called the Fish bar and have never had a complaint about any of the food, you can even order pizza from here as well as the usual meals expected from any Chinese chippy, try you will not be disappointed.
