A lovely, friendly little café. Not a huge menu but the selection is obviously carefully chosen, freshly cooked and nicely presented. The cakes are scrummy and the tea-cakes the best anywhere. Sam is lovely and she and the team always have a warm welcome.

Excellent food and service. Unfortunately the tables and chairs were very sticky, despite being cleaned again for us. A problem with varnish I understand. Hence 4 not 5 stars

Sorry guys , This was possibly one of the worst meals I have ever had. The sourdough bread, old, not butter. As hard as rock totally inedible. The poached egg tiny, one very small egg, no salt or flavour. Flavour ... non. Tomatoes no tast, Feta cheese One big piece. Sorry it really was awful. The service was fine and the latte Ok .Cost extortionate £14.25 for a poached egg on a piece of hard bread with some slices of tomato and a few lettuce leaves.

Jenny & I called here for lunch on spec after an intensive session on our allotment nearby, got a table in the newly covered outside eating area, and had a delicious lunch with a cappuccino apiece. There’s a good menu with plenty of choice, the food’s really freshly-cooked and you can tell, and prices are very reasonable. It’s a popular place so maybe book if you can - and as it’s right by a busy road be aware that sitting outside will make it harder to have a quiet chat. Strongly recommended though: we’re really pleased to have found it.

We went for (pre-booked) afternoon tea this afternoon with my daughter who eats vegan / gluten free food; we had vegetarian option. Tea in a teapot with real tea & strainer (no tea bags). Coffee however you like it - we had tea, cappuchino regular, cappuchino with oat-milk - all lovely - all in real crockery. The afternoon tea platters were beautiful and so tasty. The trouble taken to match the Vegan/GF with our Vegetarian version was extraordinary - down to the bowl of vegan whipped cream with the scones and jam. Take a look at the photos!. We sat outside under their part-shelter in the sunshine. The only trouble is that we were so full that we had to ask for a box to take away the cake afterwards (of course we got two cardboard 'doggy' boxes - one for the vegan/GF; the other for our vegetarian). We couldn't be more impressed. Considering that we only live a couple of miles away, I am amazed that we hadn't found this place before. If you are in the area, don't miss this place for a proper afternoon tea (if you have special dietary requirements, they need to know in advance though). Ecclesall Rd cafes better look out!

I have been to this coffee house many times and the food has always been delicious. It is not just a coffee house, but an eaterie as well. My lasagne today was very nice and it was great to see a good choice of vegetarian options on the menu. The staff were pleasant as well.

The overwhelmingly positive reviews tell you all you need to know - the handful of complainants were obviously having a bad day! This little gem is nestled close to great parks in the area and is the ideal place to stop for a coffee or cake (or something more). In addition, although many much larger outlets struggle with this, the cafe has alternatives to cows milk and cakes which are made without eggs (an intolerance I suffer from). The staff are friendly and pleased to help and the place has a welcoming feel - as evidenced by the buzz of conversation. Do go - you will not be disappointed!

It's shameful that I've never been here before and it's only a mile and a bit from our house. Jenny and I came here from our allotment this morning when we decided we needed some sustenance after a couple of hours energetic weeding etc, and it's a real find. Trendy decor inside and out on the terrace - we were outside this time in the sun - friendly staff, a good menu and quick service. Cappuccinos were delicious, Jenny loved her giant crumpet with bacon, poached egg and more, and I had a really tasty avo and Philadelphia bagel with baby leaves. All the usual precautions - sanitiser, distancing, spaced seating, and a list for contact details, and it felt as safe as anywhere can do at the moment. Strongly recommended and we'll certainly be back.

Once again we are not disappointed in our favourite coffee shop where the staff are always helpful & friendly. We have been regular customers for over 4 years & it’s great to see it back up & running after the Covid lockdown. Just had the most delicious waffles. Long may it continue. Tracy & Stuart xx

Really disappointed in my local coffee shop, they are allowing customers to use their outdoor seating area. This isn’t allowed under government covid 19 guidelines. How disappointing to see yet another establishment putting money over people’s safety.

Me and My partner went for a lovely walk around Bingham, down the stream. We came out next to this lovely little coffee shop where we popped in for a coffee and a mince pie. We were given a warm welcome by the staff, told to order at the counter once we had had a nosey through the menu. I had a lovely cup of tea, and my partner had a festive coffee. We had a mince pie each, which were the best I’ve ever tasted! They were definitely home made! I loved the area and this coffee shop will definitely be re-visited when we walk this area again. Lovely drinks, food and atmosphere! 5 star. Merry Christmas! :)

I am a regular at the coffee house. I return again and again as I have had issues in the passed with main stream coffee shops being lactose intolerant. The shop offers a range of milk alternatives, including soy, oat and coconut, which I take full advantage of. They also have a range of foods I enjoy including polenta cakes which I can eat with my condition. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and as they know me by now I don’t even have to explain my needs. They take notice and remember me when ever I visit which makes it homely and friendly every time. Merry Christmas OakBrook.

We had just arrived in Sheffield and needed a coffee. We were pleased we found this popular café which is located within Sheffield Cathedral. It is necessary to order with your table number at the counter and pay at the till. The coffee is delivered to the table. We enjoyed two good quality flat whites which cost £6.80. Thankfully there is also a toilet located in the café which was very appreciated after a long drive 😊.
