Very friendly, well kept beer. Excellent band who played a brilliant eclectic set. They were also very tolerant of my needy dog. Highly recommend both the pub and the band.

We called in one evening for a meal while staying in the area, nice friendly pub offering a small but good choice of tasty food.

Good ales, lovely meal, very reasonable price and the service was exceptional. The bar man (think he was a Brummie, had a beard and wore a hat) was lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Thank you!

Absolutely wonderful welcome and hospitality from Ruby, can’t recommend enough, they let us eat food from the Indian up the road as they had stopped serving theirs. Loads of tips on where to go locally. Please do pay a visit and support a great establishment with friendly locals. Will definitely be back next time I’m around this way.

Fantastic pub, and superb landlord. We played here (Supa Nova), not long ago at the engagement party of the landlord. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the party and crowd were lively and energetic. We really enjoyed being here, it's a lovely venue.
