Har spist her flere gange.

portions are generous so exceedingly good value for how I use the place as stop off workspace, chill out good food and surprisingly varied interesting tasty wine list - on the calk board next to the wi-fi password. Delightful drop in restorative meal spot.

At long last a restaurant in Belsize Park 'worth the detour'. In its third reincarnation after tha Havers pub was refurbished, the NW3ar is now run by Debbie and her team, previously at The Engineer (nearby Primrose Hill). The furnishings are basic but the food is imaginative, well presented and delicious. Dinner is a la carte, three courses the same as West End lunchtime prices at about £30 per head, depending on the selection made. On the discovery trip, the menu included very tasty cauliflower soup, beetroot marinaded gravadlux; mains included chargrilled leg of lamb, cod or mullet and guinea fowl, all perfectly cooked with good portions. Amongst desserts ice creams, sticky toffee pudding…….A well-selected wine list had several good-value wines between £20 to £25, with a further range of More expensive traditional classic restaurant wines. The restaurant is open at lunchtime, 2 courses and a drink £15, mains are less formal than the evening menu. Sundays are lunch only. In the evenings after 6:30pm, found plenty of parking nearby.

I can’t recommend this place enough. Well worth travelling for. The food was divine and I couldn’t believe the high standard/quality of food we received for the price we paid! Highly recommend the lamb roast – it is mouth watering and also the pumpkin, sage and goat cheese risotto as a starter – magnificent! I tried replicating but I sadly can’t. All locally sourced too. Will make this place a regular. Service was lovely as well.

My partner and i went along to NW3 for a late sunday roast and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was excellently prepared with good quality ingredients paired well together, an emphasis on classic favourites done well, and most importantly with care. The wine list was also well sourced with good variety and the cocktail menu had something for everyone. Prices are very reasonable for the quality offered, our bill was even more modest with half price mains throughout January. We started with the smoothest and creamiest chicken liver parfait, served with toast, picked beetroot and beetroot crisps and a superbly simple but sturdy goose rilette with toast and cornichons. This was followed by one lamb roast and one guinea fowl with haggis pan haggarty - crispy and fluffy duck fat roast potatoes, perfectly cooked meat and veg with gravy done the proper way, rich dark and sticky. If that's not how you like it then there is something wrong with you. Dessert rounded us off nicely with one rhubarb creme brule with orange shortbread - light, delicate, could have eaten three - and one chocolate tart with pistachio ice cream - shiny, rich and heavenly, for the chocolate lovers. Needless to say all of our plates were left clean. Our meal was accompanied by two extremely easy drinking french martini's, a camden pale ale and a smooth and warming glass of Dao. Sadly we couldn't fit coffee in afterward although it would be my guess that they do this well too. All in all, I highly recommend you give it a try. It's not been open long but it's going to be a new favourite for the locals as soon as word gets out.

I am amazed by the four and five star reviews on this page. This is our neighbourhood and we used to frequent NW3 Bar's predecessor, Balaro, which started with a bang and closed with a whimper...perhaps this new venue is following the same route? Three of us old regulars decided to give the new place a whirl one Friday lunchtime, normally a good time to go to lunch so there should be no excuses for 'chef's night off' or whatever. Two of us had mussels - without cream as I am dairy-free (nearly all the dishes on the menu had cheese or cream in them, one way or another: only two salads both with cheese, come on!) - and they arrived cold and with a smidgeon of watery sauce, no hint of seasoning or the promised wine, just parsley and over-strong onions. Where was the garlic for a classic moules marinieres? And we had to ask for bread to go with it...My other friend had beer-battered cod and chips which he should have sent back, as the woman did at the neighbouring table, as the chips were too crisp to eaten and the cod shrivelled within the batter. Just horrid. Very sad to write this as we need a decent restaurant in Belsize Park aside from The Hill. Which is where I will be headed next time!

We went to celebrate my wife's birthday. It was a Tuesday and while we were the only people there, the service was impeccable and the food excellent. We are local so we always relish trying to discover new restaurants in the area. NW3 is new and I would recommend it to those living in the area and those who want to come to North London and not go back home disappointed. We started off with a risotto and the chicken parfait and both had the beef. We tried different glasses of white and red wines, all reasonably priced. We went away knowing we will be back.

Me and 2 friends went here for lunch the other day. We all work in hospitality, so it is sometimes pretty hard to get the same time off. And we do try and discover new places. And this was a nice discovery. It was a grey and rainy day, but this restaurant has a little conservatory at the side with extra heaters, so it was perfect. It was very quiet but they told us they haven’t been open for long, so they are just building up trade again. We just ordered a bunch of plates to share between us. Mussels, charcuterie board, pulled pork sandwich, smoked haddock rare bit and their duck fat chips. And to be honest, it was all amazing. I never had duck fat chips before, but they are the way forward. They have a bin end list for wines as well and we picked out an Italian Viognier, was perfect with everything. This place was /is a great find and I will plan my next Sunday lunch here I think.

I came across this little restaurant in Belsize Park by chance on a recent trip to London. I'm fortunate enough to travel & experience cuisine from all over the world so I know the difference between just average and good, and I'm fussy! I ordered a Turkey Roast dinner, they were sold out so I opted for chicken instead. I kind of expected it to be a let down given it wasn't part of the menu but how wrong I was! First of all the portion was very generous lots of fresh vegetables delivered that day, great roast potatoes ( lots of them) and succulent juicy chicken with an enormous Yorkshire pudding. The stuffing with chestnuts was the best I had ever tasted. I must add the rest of the menu is pretty great too. I love how varied it is such as Pheasant, Goose pate, Smoked Haddock with cheese on toast, they haven't opted for the usual run of the mill stuff. This is a new restaurant that deserves to succeed. There is a lot of love and pride that goes into the preparation, and the staff are lovely too. The decor is probably not my taste a little bit kitsch but to be honest so long as the food is good and the prices are reasonable I'm happy.

This newly opened restaurant in Hampstead offers very good european food and a small but very well chosen and reasonably priced wine list. Both the food menu and the wine list are carefully prepared to offer a good spread of food and wine to chose fromWe arrived early evening (7pm) expecting to find a very good Italian restaurant we had previously enjoyed but found the newly opened NW3 Bar & Kitchen. It did not disappoint. The modern decor has not changed much but the food has. We both had a really delicious Pumpkin soup which was hot and warming on a cold night and had a rich spicy flavour with onion bhaji decoration on top. My rump steak was well cooked and spot on at medium rare whilst the chips, cooked in duck fat, were perfection (I normally leave most chips but these I ate up.) My wife's ducks breast with beetroot & turnip dauphinoise and celeriac puree was again spot on. My creme brûlée was good and whilst I normally dislike anything added, this variation was delicious. My wife's dessert had a strange name but would best be described as a restrained treacle toffee pudding in style. The Argentinian Malbec was good and at £28 did not break the bank. Most wine is below £30 and some under £20 and offers a range of grape choices from around the world. Try the Viognier grape with their top of the range white Condrieu. The service was charming though at 7pm on a cold and wet Tuesday winter's evening the restaurant was not full but we hope that, as word gets around in Hampstead, it will get a loyal following. We need good restaurants in the area. For a three course meal for two with wine it came to around £100.We will certainly be back again.

Great Double Double and Liqour very nice and tasty would return for another meal. There seems to be some confusion on social media about this place also being a Cafe. I can Confirm this is a Pie and Mash Shop only no other food is served here so presume people must be confusing this place with somewhere else.

Called in for brunch as it was on the way to St Pancras and the website looked good. The food was nice BUT extremely expensive for what it was. £17 for cold avocado, poached eggs, chickpeas and rocket on toast and sat next to the toilet door. We paid a third less for similar at the Ivy, Tower Bridge where the surroundings were far superior. Plus no green tea!! My husband had 2 eggs and some ham and a very small latte and it was just shy of £40!! My cup was half empty and I wouldn’t return.

It was an absolutely amazing experience, and I have honestly would have given 7 out of 5 if it wasn’t for the end. We were looked after a lovely gentleman called Adrian and he was really nice and professional, he followed us through the whole meal and made sure our experience was great. He did succeed and we also had a couple of more waitress touching our table and there were all absolutely lovely. Since the start we were really exited and the thing of guessing the ingredients in the dish was so much fun… Was also my girlfriend birthday and the champagne on house on the arrival was a really lovely touch. Everything went great, it was a special occasion for other personal reason but I’m not going too deep into it, just was wishing that the evening wound have ended a bit better. We finished the 5 courses of an Amalfi experience meal, and I cannot thank Adrian (the waiter) enough to make this evening so lovely. I come from the south of Italy and I was hoping to end the meal with an espresso. I have been also working on restaurants for the last 20 years across 3 different countries, I indeed work as a manager in an Italian restaurant and I know for sure that until the last drink order of called the coffee machine should not been closed, specially in an Italian restaurant (or experience). But I also know how hard and heavy is working long hours in hospitality is, but what bothers me is not the thing that I could have a coffee after my meal, but the way how the female bartender reacted to my request. I asked Adrian for an espresso and when he asked the bartender if he could have a coffee she responded to him quite loud “of course is closed”. Adrian came to the table and really politely told us that we could not have a coffee so we had a couple of limoncello shot instead. Again what bothers me is only the way how this bartered had reacted to my request, otherwise this would have been a 10 out of 10 dinner. I still recommend to go there as food was lovely and service was great (waitress stuff, bit much from the bar) but if you are a coffee lover after dinner make sure you go there earlier than 9pm. Adrian, thank you for your service, you’re great!!!!
