Nuvo St Annes in Fylde

Not what we were expecting at all, arrived to be told there was no white wine as they had been busy over the Xmas period. Ordered Prosecco instead but on further inspection and a recognisable taste discovered that it was Aldi prosecco. #illegal #tradingstandards #worthatry #rubbishexcuse food was very salty and average.

Had a lovely time, the food was great and portion sizes good, they were great with the kids and there is a good kids menu.

Ordered tapas from Nuvo last night. Our first time at this restaurant but it won’t be the last. Incredible food with a large menu to choose from. Every dish was delicious and the staff are friendly, efficient and attentive. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place!

Visiting st Anne’s for the 1st time, we stumbled upon nuvo. Absolutely amazing tapas, everything was delicious. Portion sizes were perfect. Choice superb. Kids loved there own menu to choose from. Service was very attentive. Staff very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. We will definitely be back 😀

We visited on a Saturday evening, just for drinks and ended up staying for food, which was excellent. We had a JFK chicken burger and a Sicilian pizza both were cooked well and tasty. Good value at £11.50 & £9.50 for very generous portions. Staff were friendly and attentive. Relaxing atmosphere, we will visit again.

Went in Nuvo at lunchtime. Lovely décor and a good atmosphere. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The food we had was excellent, well presented and very reasonably priced. What more could you possibly want. Will definitely be back there again soon.

We went here just over a week ago for the gin festival. Couldn't fault it at all. Lovely decor, staff very helpful & friendly, great selection of gins & the food was top notch. Recommend the Arancini balls & pizza - both amazing. We had a great time & will definitely be going back soon.

We visited Nuvo on Thursday evening taking advantage of the 50% off tapas deal. There is an excellent selection of tapas and we went with 15 dishes between 5 of us which proved to be the right amount as we were all full after. Particular highlights were the chicken and chorizo, mushroom and chicken livers, belly pork and the ham and cheese croquettes. There were also 2 children in our party who really enjoyed a large portion of chicken nuggets and chips which were clearly homemade. The staff were also really good with the children and there were activity sheets for them to complete while waiting for their meals. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable meal and experience.

A good meal had by all, five adults and two young boys-who had the children’s menu. Adults had the Thursday special of 50% off tapas. Only problem was deciding what to order and then making sure you got your share! No duff dishes at all and the waiter was good with the boys. Recommended

Stopped here for a lunch date with my boyfriend, brother and sister in law, the sun was shining so we sat outside, we had a few cocktails, pink fizz and gin. Food was delicious, a couple of us had burgers and then some tapas and garlic breads. We managed to save some room for dessert, the chocolate brownie sundae was to die for, perfect finish to a yummy meal in the sunshine! Definitely worth a try and they had music inside and out which was a nice touch.

Out of a group of five, only one found their food to be anywhere near acceptable. The breaded chicken burger was a cheap frozen type and the "brioche" bun which accompanied it was a basic bread bap. When discussing this with a waitress I was told that everything was made in-house and the chef must have forgotten to put sugar in the bread mix... a lame excuse, I wasn't born yesterday! On a positive note, the staff were generally very helpful. Nuvo just needs to review their food offering.

Just got back from an amazing meal here four of us 9 ,15 and mum dad the children’s meals are a fantastic value meal pudding and drink for under £5 good portion size the flat bread garlic bread started was amazing £4 and the mains didn’t look much on the plate (portion wise) however the taste of the burgers was amazing and the large potatoe wedges were very filling, service was amazing we asked for water for the children and were given a large iced jug perfect all in all we would recommend we went around 7 which was perfect as our children are a little older now so we don’t need the happy hour 4 till five at weather spoons over the road very classes inside and very clean hope to try the tapas next time with friend a class

I was quickly attended to. Polite staff. I ordered the chicken burger for £9. Unfortunately had to buy a separate side of fries for £3 and a glass of wine for £8.50. An expensive lunch. My food came in a timely manner. It looked nice. Nice fries, nice salad.. a large portion of the chicken was over cooked and hard.. my pooch benefited from this. At no time did anyone come out to ask if my food was ok.. I was the only customer outside. As soon as I finished a waiter did appear and asked about my food. I told him my thoughts and he apologised and said he would inform the chef. And That was that. Bill came and they gave me a discount. Overall a positive experience.

Myself and my friend have just enjoyed a delicious meal at Nuvo and we would both thoroughly recommend it to people. The staff were very friendly and attentive and we will definitely go again.

Staying in St Anne’s for a while and I’d passed this place a few times. Thought I’d give it a go. Midweek so was quiet. Very helpful waitress. Suggested 3 dishes but I opted for two - should’ve just had one!!!! Really big portions but outstanding!! I will be back.

Visited this beautiful place for an informal family meal. A real find. Charming service, good food and delicious wine. St. Annes needs more places like this!
