Nutty Butty in Preston

If you're tired of boring, icky packaged sandwiches during your working day, give Nutty Butty a go. Great grub made fresh, friendly and efficient staff, and very reasonably priced. The hot batons are a treat.

Great coffee with friendly service

Little gem of a sandwich shop. Everything is made fresh (I watched them shredding two whole roast chickens for the chicken sandwiches whilst my food was being prepared). Lavazza coffee is excellent. The owner and staff are really friendly. My favourite place to pick up supplies before heading to the train station.

Stopped here from Scotland on way to Manchester airport. Brilliant rolls, great banter and good banter.

What’s not to love about Nuttybutty. Great value quality food served by lovely people. Just wish they were open weekends

During a recent visit home we stayed at an Airbnb nearby and came here for breakfast sandwiches the first day they were open after we arrived. They were so good that we kept coming back every day afterwards for the rest of the trip, including the day we flew home. Great food, great value for money and super friendly people running the place. Will gladly eat here again on the next trip home.

Popped in for a takeout lunch whilst in Preston for work and the food selections were great! Lots of choices of hot and cold food, drinks and snacks! The beef, cheddar and Stilton hot baton was delicious. Can’t wait to pop in again when next visiting Preston! Service was very quick and very friendly! Thank you 🤩

Got a roast chicken salad barm for lunch, £2.80, really good, so much better than getting one from a supermarket and actually cheaper.

This take away must surely be the best value breakfast /lunch in the whole of Preston city Centre. Always service with a smile and excellent good quality food. Top little sandwich shop, lovely owners and staff, good value for money and good quality products. Plus they do nice cofees and nice little cakes. Can get busy at times so I try to preorder

This is a really good sandwich shop always had nice food from here there is plenty to choose from and always fresh and can tell that they use good quality ingredients and prices are more than reasonable glad to be back working in Preston again thank you guys

Always friendly, efficient and smiley staff. Food is always tasty and plenty of choice for breakfast and lunch options. Recommended to anyone in the Preston area or if you've got 20mins to kill waiting for a train - only a few mins walk from there.

I had 10 minutes to get my hourly bus 30 seconds away from this place. Thought I would quickly run down to get some breakfast I asked the woman serving if the sausages were ready and she told me yes! So I thought that's great It will only be two minutes for a sausage butty to take away. Wrong I was still waiting when my bus arrived because they were cooking the sausages. If I'd of known I had to wait instead the lie about them being ready I would of just left it and waited for my bus. But then I ended up missing my bus instead. So whilst waiting for my next bus I decided to eat my sandwich. Worst sausages I've ever tasted. Cheapest kind you can buy. Poor quality and lies just to get your money out of you. Won't be going back.

Good choice of sandwiches and friendly staff.

Every time I have been, I have encountered the same two ladies working. Both are extremely polite and friendly. The menu is quite large, with many different options for food, such as hot and cold Butties, toasted, paninis etc. The pricing is very reasonable and what is on the menu is what you actually get charged! The place seems fairly hygienic, although I am not sure if gloves are used. Either way, orders are written down, and the two staff members have no problem adding extras to your order. The Butties are top tier. I have had the Cajun chicken countless times and I am still not tired of it. Get it with Mayo, lettuce and onion and I guarantee you will not be disappointed! They are prepared carefully and you can tell these two ladies go the extra mile for all their customers. Well done Nutty Butty - easily my favourite butty shop in Preston!

I ordered my first sandwich from Nutty Butty this morning, and what a fresh sandwich it was. I opted for the Chicken, Chorizo and Mayonnaise sandwich which was freshly prepared in front of me. Service was incredibly quick and friendly along with average sandwich pricing. I think I will be making this a regular visit on the way to work!

As per the title - simple, hearty, pleasant, affordable, just when you need a little something extra to give you that push to keep on going to the top of the never-ending Fishergate Hill! Been around for ages too and I remember munching on yummy sandwiches here with my Grandad when I was a boy.

Great sandwiches and salads at really reasonable prices. An interesting, and truly authentic service experience! Think 'Dinner Ladies' meets 'Fawlty Towers'. If you are intrigued by that, I'd suggest you try it sometime!

At least once a week I get to call into Nutty Butty for a full breakfast barm. Best butty in town and well worth the wait, (even at 7:30 in the morning). Staff are great and always a friendly welcome. Also if your running late you can always telephone ahead and your butty is ready for you when you arrive. A great selection of different meats and fillings for all tastes which makes it easy for different lunches everyday which take your fancy. Also the "mackeral surprise"???????? You just never know :-)

I work in Preston and visit the nutty butty every morning and every dinner and have done for the last 2 years, the staff are pleasant, and the food is excellent and where possible home made and with a wide variety of choice. Even though the shop gets very busy at peak times there is excellent team work between the 2 ladies that work there and everyone is services very quickly.

Food ok. Staff awful. Never smile or really talk to you. Seems like its a effort to serve you. Went in few times not worth the effort to be treated like you are something that came off their shoe!
