Great lunch menu at only £10.for two courses. Delicious food and lovely, friendly service. We wish them every success. Would be great if you could get gluten free bread please.

Got a too good to go bag. Done this a few times before and all other places give a small dish and maybe a salad and desert. Not the scraps put into leaking Tupperware that I received. Called up to ask why we had been given cut up frankfurters with lumpy mash, leaking stuff and the driest rye bread sandwich known to man.. but the manager was so rude and defensive when I even started to ask about what we had received, and started shouting hysterically down the phone. I realised I wasn’t going to get any understanding of why I would be dissatisfied and hung up on her still yelling at me despite having asked her to stop shouting and talk to me. I won’t ever go to this place now, will actively discourage others! What an embarrassing way for a manager to act!

Really lovely Armenian food, seafood basket, mushroom stroganoff are really good. Especially the Armenian red wine, have to try! Staffs are very very friendly.

I came here for a Too good to go Magic Bag. Great amount of food for a fiver. Tasted awesome 10/10, will 100% use again just been back for another magic bag. Was greeted like a long lost friend, by name, with glee. Picked up 2 types of soup, a corned beef salad, a chicken wrap, sandwiches, a dessert, some jam and sourdough bread £5. a result

My friend and I came here Friday evening, such beautiful interior with comfy chairs 😍 We both had olives with bread for starters and then we had the Mushroom stroganoff which I highly recommend, also We shared a bottle of Red wine which was very nice to. The Lady-host was fantastic, very welcoming, friendly and gave us a pot of Kimchi on the house which I agree went rather well with are meal. I will be back on my next visit to Hastings

Eating Armenian food was a first for all of us and what an experience! The food was beautifully cooked and super tasty: as a group of 6 (including a vegan) we chose dishes across the menu and every dish was a success. The owner informed us about the different ingredients and flavours and offered helpful suggestions. The restaurant is beautifully furnished with fascinating pictures and portraits on the walls and comfortable, colourful furniture. This place is a must for any visit to Hastings

What a treasure to have found. Super friendly staff/owners, offering a warm welcome in a lovely environment. The food was really delicious and very good value. The lady owner was brilliant in helping marry the food to the wine, great beers too. To top it off on Thursday evenings they have a really good jazz club with top musicians and amazing guest artists.....and the chairs were very comfortable.

Really good food, beef melting in my mouth. Sausage was fantastic and soup of the day was AMAZING. I loved every single thing I ate today and my husband loves it too. Went here on a Thursday evening which happened to be a live music night. Very warm welcome and a really nice atmosphere. The food was amazing but what was a real surprise was how good the musicians where in fact we stayed most of the evening and enjoyed a really nice home made apple cake. Would highly recommend this place good food and drinks

What a place! Fatastic food, beautiful decor, friendly staff, cheerful proprieter, art gallery on walls and those Thursday jazz evenings! Unforgetable experience. And if you have some special dietary requirements, don’t be shy – just mention them and the chef will come up with a few suggestions to make sure that there is no need to compromise on taste and quality. Hastings is really lucky to have NUR.

We’ve had a 2 course lunch and drinks where drinks were the only thing worth paying money for ! Food was disgusting, we’ve had a 2 course lunch which consisted of a very tiny portion of a cabbage salad ( alternative because they didn’t have ingredients for a fresh salad) - and a soup for my friend which was the only edible thing! The main was unedible and extremely disappointing! None of us could eat it - me being non meat eater and my friend being a meat eater! It was meant to be vegetables wrapped in cabbage’ It tasted purely like some sort of fatty oily meat without a single vegetable apart from cabbage in it. I’ve been told it’s a ‘meat replacement’ but then why calling it vegetables on the menu ? It looked and tasted disgusting. Left a whole dish Very disappointing and won’t be recommending to anyone or coming back ever again The worst spent £65 ever!!!!

This is a most excellent restaurant. Lovely atmosphere, great food and gorgeous decor. Me and my partner visited for a lunchtime meal, and were very impressed. The lunchtime menu was delicious, and very reasonably priced, and we had a superb Armenian wine. Also, the staff, Rosanne and Iona, were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We will defiantly be going back soon, and will be recommending NUR to everyone. Thanks for a very pleasant lunchtime.

I might be going against the grain here but I felt NUR was way overpriced and very small portions when ordered through delivery. I ordered a lamb dish which had very little actual lamb meat - I get that shoulder is a fatty cut but to have 3 pieces of meat is a bit mean. The burger was really tough and the chips didn't taste freshly cut - which I'd expect from a restaurant. The star is for the rice. We spent £52 on the takeaway and won't be ordering again. I did phone up to share my experience but was I met with instant denial, on the verge of proposing my feedback was untrue. Thanks NUR a great response to someone sharing their experience.....

We were attracted by the fact the Armenian elements of the menu, and thought this would be a little bit different. We weren't disappointed - very well cooked and very tasty.

Very nice - loved the decor (especially the oh so comfy chairs). Menu is interesting and contains authentic Armenian dishes. We shared 2 delicious starter platters, one of which was vegetarian, which consisted of a selection of interesting salads, hummus, foccacia, ham, hot kielbasa, salami, hard boiled quail's eggs and preserved herring on rye bread. Mains were mushroom stroganoff for the 2 vegetarians, lamb shank, beef stroganoff and slow cooked lamb with Mediterranean vegetables..desserts were also sublime. Service was great, really welcoming and I can definitely recommend the Georgian red wine!

You will not get what you want in that place and you will be properly overcharged!She will try to avoid giving you a receipt,because these people are criminals and do the best they can,to avoid paying taxes!They are also smuggling illegal products in the country,and they sell illegal cigarettes right across the street in a shop which also belongs to them!But if you make the mistake and decide to eat in that restaurant,you have to be careful,and also make sure that you take all your belongings with you. If you forget something there,she will take it and you will never see your property again,because she will keep lying and lying to you again and again,until you’ll give up!Same with her employees from the shop across the street,who are thieves and liars,and she covers up for them! I make an appeal to proper authorities to investigate these places thoroughly,because and don’t believe that is in the best interest for the council,to allow criminal operations like that right in the town center!Also,I will put some information in here,some links where you can go and report these criminals,especially the woman(Ruzana),if you’ve been a victim and ripped off by her or her employees!
