Number 21 Restaurant in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

Dear Tim R, We've really enjoyed eating and drinking at Number 29. Especially when we can get a table in the front with the fire. And I really like you steaks. I'm a beer drinker and it would be nice to get a real ale but it seems all the restaurants in BM have changed their beer suppliers. I always amused by your responses to negative comments. Defiantly worth a read. See you in February.

Turned away at lunchtime as we were too many!!!! 6 of us with another 6 to join later. 4 empty tables outside seating 6 each. They only had one chef on apparently, we said not all would eat but we were there for drinks. Absolutely NOT family friendly, nor hospitable at all. Disgraceful attitude to customer service. We went elsewhere and felt like going back later to say... Remember the film Pretty Woman?.... Big mistake!!

Spent a week in Hunstanton and visited this pub twice! Both times the food was great, kids had the Mac n Cheese both times! Service was friendly both times. Some may think time to get food from ordering a bit long, but food seems to be prepared from scratch so a half hour doesn’t seem excessive. Prices are reasonable for a family of four and we certainly had a great experience.

Whilst visiting Hunstanton on a glorious sunny day, I decided to enjoy a pint of guiness at this restaurant/bar. I can honestly say the guiness was not only the best I have drank in the UK, but it was as good as guiness In Dublin. Wow. Guiness fans, you have been advised. Congrats to Stephen.

Well, after reading the review's and the responses from either the manager or owner, I'm about to venture into the depths of the great unknown (I do feel very brave). I believe this establishment has recently been taken over by the current people and have maintained the name of No 21. Mixed feelings for the general service to be honest. We were treated fine, unfortunately others not so well. There appears to be an unconscious (or conscious) bias towards potential customers. It's pretty clear the staff feel as though they have a self acclaimed type of customer service towards individuals...perhaps regular staff training on equal opportunities/dignity towards others would benefit the future of such an establishment? Who knows, and more importantly would they honestly care...only time will tell.

Me and family went to Number 21 Restaurant for outdoor drinks on the front - which was a lovely location looking over the sea. We had a great service from a young lady called Taylor (im sure that was her name or very similar), she was really nice and friendly to us all. We look forward to going there again.

Without a doubt the worst place to eat in Hunstanton. Terrible food poorly cooked and presented. Very aggressive owner and service staff when a complaint was made. He even had to follow us down the road a hundred yards. Don’t waste your money.

Myself and my daughter came here for dinner before heading to the beach ⛱ for a stroll. The staff were lovely and friendly, very helpful and could not fault them! Would highly recommend for anyone to stop in and grab a bite to eat! Clean and comfortable feel.

Perfect service from booking via messenger to arriving for our meal. Wanted to take my husband for a nice roast for his birthday whilst staying away and came across this place on trip advisor. The restaurant is located in a beautiful building with stunning beach views. We were welcomed in by a very friendly waitress who honestly couldn’t do more for us, along with other staff members who were very friendly and polite. So nice to go somewhere that offers proper customer service, seems to be a rarity these days! They had also prepared an extra little surprise for hubby’s birthday which was very well received, thank you. We both ordered the beef roast and it was delicious! Huge portion that neither of us could finish but just amazing, fresh ingredients and full of flavour. This restaurant is one of the few around that haven’t just forgotten about covid, so have chosen to still enforce some of the rules which shouldn’t put people off as to be honest I know I’d rather be safe whilst the cases are still on the up. This place deserves to be fully booked every day, amazing service, lovely food, beautiful location - what’s not to like! Thank you and we hope to visit again soon!

We were in Hunstanton on 24th July and walking past your Restaurant saw a notice saying 'Best Roast on the Coast', so decided to give it a go. My husband ordered a Roast Beef and myself a Roast Pork. We waited a little while but thought that was because it was being cooked fresh, great. When our dinners arrived, with a large Yorkshire Pudding on top, they looked lovely. But on further inspection we found the vegetables were minimal - 1 Roast Carrot and Parsnip, 2 Cauliflower florets with cheese and Cabbage. Two Roast potatoes completed the veg , but they were rather overdone and certainly not crispy. But worse was to come my piece of pork turned out to be more like a rasher of bacon, small, thin and crispy on the edges, my husband also said his beef was like something you find in a packet that you have to warm up. Neither pieces of meat were something that had been carved off a fresh joint of meat, which was what we were expecting after seeing the notice board outside. When my husband went to pay the bill he commented to the gentleman serving behind the bar that we were not happy with our meal, and we got 'oh sorry about that'. On reflection we should have made a complaint whilst we were eating the meal , but didn't want to make a fuss in front of everyone. I feel if you are going to make comments such as 'Best Roast on the Coast', then you should serve a better meal. I have noted on previous comments concerning your restaurant that a lot of people have been very pleased with their meals, perhaps you were having an 'off day' or something when we were there. I don't really know but on the meals we received I am sorry but I can not recommend your establishment.
