Pizza Hut in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

First visit for a long while, and on this showing it'll be the last for a while yet. Woefully understaffed, although this seems to be as a result of the QR Code, order via mobile at table, service. This contributes to the lack of atmosphere, as it means that the staff can't build a rapport with their customers, although they were cheery enough. Food was as I remember it, but the prices for the adult pizzas certainly weren't. Knowing the struggles facing the food service industry, I hate to leave poor reviews, but have to be honest and hope that things improve.

It took several minutes before someone came over to seat us after a couple of people just ignored us. My mum had poor mobility so can not stand for long and although she had her walking sticks this was not recognised. They told us that there was only 2 of them on that evening so to bare with them. Once seated we were told we could only order via the online system (had this been my parents visiting then they would not have been able to order).the drinks arrived fairly quickly however the mains took about 40 minutes which I did not expect when the restaurant was not too busy. I went in ver to ask about the food at 35 minutes past and was told ‘you’ve actually only waiting 33 minutes not 35!’ They then said it looks like it was coming out of the oven but was still a few more minutes before it came over to us. The side was luke warm only but no one actually came over to us to ask if the food was ok at any point and most of the time the staff were out the back. The pizza however was delicious and still hot when we got to it.

The ability to place the order directly via the QR code was very good. The ease of placement and speed of delivery were very good.

The food was disgusting as it was not cooked properly. The manager tried to resolve by giving a reduction on the bill but basically we felt £25.00 for 2 bowls of salad and 2 hot drinks excessive.

Delivered like this. The sticker wasn’t even closed when received the pizza. Cold, hard dough, looks like one slice was missing, not much cheese. Also paid 2£ for extra olives and this is what i got? Impossible to eat, so hard and dry. Paid 17£ not worth it! Very disappointing!!! Never again.

The death of Pizza Hut is nigh. This place is a hollow, neon-lit hellscape. The staff are as miserable as can be, the customers too. The prices are sky-high and the quality continues to fall. They have successfully gutted the Pizza Hut of childhoods and replaced it with an American-ised nightmare where a family can barely afford to dine on the horrible fries and stale salad.

Good selection of food as always. The restaurant was extremely clean and the staff were friendly as always.

Food was just ok but very expensive for just a pizza. The poor waitress, with one other had to try to serve the whole restaurant. When food did come, the smallest child had to wait until last for food. To top it all off more than three quarters of our group had stomach cramps and stomach ache. Pizza hut if you want to charge such high prices for something that costs pence then please ensure you employ enough staff and use ingredients that are fresh and not going to make customers feel unwell.

We arrived at around 7 and it was busy but we were seated quickly, they are still using the COVID style of ordering with a QR code. Food arrived rather quickly but the free salad bowl was slightly disappointing as they had run out of running low on most items. The pizza I went for was the Chicken Fajita which was tasty with a tingle of heat, as with the side of Hot Honey Chicken Wings and finally for dessert it was the Ice Cream Factory which you can't really go wrong with.

Food was great especially for a buffet, however apart from the nice assistant that seated us there is no more contact with staff due to scanning the table with your phone to order and pay upfront, this felt a little cold and as if it has put people out of jobs to maximise profits as there was only 2 servers in the entire restaurant which was almost full of about 60-70 people.

Massive argument between customers which ruined the meal completely and staff didn't intervene or de-escalate the situation just let it unfold! The buffet is a good idea and simple, but they can be slow to replace empty pizza trays. On our last visit there was a group of school kids eating so food disappeared soon after it arrived. The Pepsi Max was also out, pouring clear. The staff were efficient and friendly.

I never use this place again. So over priced. Quality of the food bad. Even the salad bar has gone down hill.

Closest Pizza Hut to home, so we visit semi-regularly. Always had good service, staff are polite and welcoming. Food tastes and looks great. This hut can get very busy in the evenings, so it can be worth booking a table. Music choice is sometimes a bit odd, but never offensively so.

Staff couldn't have been more helpful if they tried even though they were all on the go nonstop. The food was brilliant no complaints here or from the kids.

Normally when you go out, interactions with staff are normal. Here we left so happy and touched by the personal care our servers took to make us feel special and to engage with us. Having not been there for years, we had no idea what to expect. We were not disappointed! The food was excellent, and did not upset our stomachs (my husband and I can react to heavy greasy food). They had amazing pizza texture, flavour and we can away feeling full but not sick full. Light and happy!

Food is okay. Service is non-existent as it is now converted to on the app only, which is a shame. They also now don't accept cash, which I don't agree with. They've gone too far, and it will eventually let the brand and company down. Not everyone wants to use a device to order their food, nor do they want to be forced to pay by card. I think it's sad as I've spent many a happy birthdays here at Pizza hut, but since having this bad experience with ordering and paying online I will nor be returning to pizza hut at all, unless things change. The price point is expensive considering its only pizza. Should be aimed at working class families as the experience is nothing special. Staff still expect a tip despite only now doing a quarter of what they used to do.

It was so easy to order. The selection of pizza and salad was great but it was the staff who stood out and made this restaurant experience fantastic! The manager and the waitress were great and couldn’t do enough for us we only wished we lived closer to be able to visit more often!

We arrived at 11:30am and understandably they said it would become very busy being half term. The man who greeted us was nice. The carrot at the salad bar was sour, so they changed it and said they'd put the "wrong date" out. The pizza was okay. We stood for several minutes at the buffet waiting for replacement pizza and pasta as most trays were empty in the rush. A good experience but nothing at the buffet for considerable time rather than more regular buffet top ups.

We booked by phone but we arrived and didn't have a reservation for us. We waited for someone to come to the table for so long in the end I ordered via the app. Food was ok not fantastic. We waited for dessert and again never arrived so we left asking for the chocolate brownie to go. The restaurant was too busy for the amount of staff. The staff seemed to be running around chasing their own tails. We went to Macdonald's for ice cream.

50min waiting for a pizza. Overpriced. I would better pay just for the pizza instead of pizza AND "free salad bar." The surface of crust feels like sand paper and damaged my mouth. Thin base pizza would be great, but not see-through base pizza, which mine was. Surface of dry dough vs topings with cheese where like 50/50 ratio. Feels like eating a plain rough bun.

Everything went well apart from the wait for the refill on the pizza bar. Pizza toppings are scarce it’s barely there. Salad bar a bit messy.

Been for both the lunch buffet and a dinner service at this pizza hut now and have been pleasantly surprised. The pizza is piping hot, fresh and loaded with toppings (no skimping!). Plenty of options and although I'm not GF was impressed to see they cater for that too. The buffet was well managed, quickly restocking when running low on each item - and all still at great quality. It's mostly either do it yourself (ordering and paying on your phone, or self serving food) but when you do have contact with staff they're pleasant and polite. The only fault I can bring up is that the ice cream machine got very quickly covered in mess and very sticky (especially the floor and bottles of sauce) during the time we were there for the buffet but I can appreciate its hard to keep on top of when there's a whole bunch of kids using it in a short space of time. Will be back, definitely.

We recently ate here and arrived 20 minutes until the end of the buffet. Not only were fresh pizzas made, but an employee named Jimmy treated us like we were the most imortant people in the world! Great service from Kimmy, the restaurant business needs more employees like him!

British Pizza Hut restaurants stopped providing Parmesan cheese several years ago. American Pizza Huts never discontinued it--they've always provided Parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper flakes. Our UK Pizza Hut recently brought it back to the delight of customers. This simple effort shows you care about your customers! Please do not discontinue providing shredded Parmesan cheese!!! Love the buffet, too!

poor staffing level with kitchen being short handed. A 30 minute wait for two melts on a Tuesday lunchtime is not what I class as anywhere near good enough, the food itself was hot and tasty but the wait was a big disappointment that soured the meal.

I absolutely loved my experience at Pizza Hut! The variety of delicious pizzas on the menu was impressive, and the service was top-notch. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure our dining experience was enjoyable. The cozy ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall pleasant atmosphere. The pizza was cooked to perfection with a crispy crust and generous toppings. I can't wait to visit again and try more of their mouthwatering options!

Arrived to pick up a takeaway at the time that was sent to me and it hadn't even been put in the oven. Ended up being over 40 minutes late! If they're that behind why give such an unrealistic pickup time? The pizza was also cold as they'd left it to go cold.

Enjoyable experience whilst visiting this time, however being forced to leave a review on Google is not acceptable and why can you not take cash? I have always liked pizza hut haven't been for a couple years tho so took my family yesterday. The food was yummy and the staff lovely the only criticism I have is you have to order via the app now that's ok for me with a phone but some of the older generation may not have that option. The prices were also a lot higher then I remember. But other then that a nice pleasant experience. X

Wow, overpriced or what? We had an individual pizza each, fries each and onion rings each, as well as a can of creme soda and a latte, it came to £61. The can of drink alone was £2.50ish. And the food was not great to be honest. Wish I wasn't so lazy and walked to dominoes now. I won't be going again. However the service was friendly and nice.

It’s been several years since we visited Pizza Hut Kings Lynn - what a disappointment. On arrival the restaurant wasn’t busy but we seemed to wait for ever to be seated, we had booked prior. Several empty tables that were yet to be cleared from previous customers. During explanation of the ordering system, our host continued to pick debris off our table, as it wasn’t clear - why not get a cloth? We found the ordering process fairly straight forward but deals weren’t really clear. We wasn’t sure on where we’d get our drinks glasses or salad bowls from, as this hadn’t been explained. Along with several uncleared tables, the mess on the restaurant floor resembled that of a chimps tea party. The salad bar was mostly empty of its selection, with people asking for a replenishment. Staff appeared happy and busy, but not really sure on what they were doing. Food however was good - thank you. Menu could really do with an update. For the price we paid we will not be returning- very disappointed

Should be renamed British Gas as the food is expensive and poor in my opinion not going again it's shocking.

Great spot to go to before heading to the beaches. Good parking and not much of a wait time. 5 minutes max. The staff are very friendly. One of the staff members was kind enough to inform about the local beaches even though she was visibly busy. She was on the phones and then was filling the salad bar and always checking on the customers. She should get a raise. The 'new' updated classics need working. Preferred the previously flavour. Onion rings were abysmal. Too soggy and no crunch to them. The amount of chips in the kids menu were comical. Seven Tiny french fries 🤣 The salad bar was unlimited based on our meal choice. I utilised it well. Would recommend 👍

Can't fault Pizza Hut, polite and friendly staff upon entry. The food was easy to order via app and came quickly and was tasty.

Met Laura, who helped us with booking slots, with changes. We were large group on the last weekend, our table were reserved 10min in advance. Jaw dropping salad option as always and mouth watering pizzzaaaaaaaaaaa and with yummm ice cream All adults / kids had a great time, thank you team.... You are are doing fab job :-)

Very quiet when I arrived staff were very helpful but few changes to menu and the all inclusive lunch has changed and gotten quiet expensive by adding ice cream that not everyone really wants

It was a nice experience in here the staffs were really good and looking after the customers . Enjoyed the time we were in there with family. It is one of the best place to have a birthday party, kids love here..

NO LONGER ACCEPT CASH :/ Took the daughter out for an Easter break meal pizza was good as usual. However it’s very annoying the only drinks available on pump are all zero sugar/diet and now they no longer accept cash payments which was very annoying as we had saved cash to go out for this meal.

Good disabled access. After eating and just before we left I noticed the gents toilet was a bit smelly and it looked like a urinal had overflowed. I informed the staff who immediately started to sort it out

A very warm welcome from all staff members, could not fault anything that evening. Order came through very quick and the children were happy to get there food.

Ordering was easy. Salad bar is never for me anyways, but looked pretty average. Drinks fine, diy job. Sides, not very great. Like I said before cheese triangles were to die for. But these dough balls were just pretty basic.

Another buffet at dinner that didn't disappoint, always refilling with hot supplies, plenty to choose from and pasta, busy as usual a little bit more expensive than before but everybody is going the same way so no complaints really I suppose

Always a great service here. Lunchtime buffet is usually always full with food. UPDATE- loss of stars.. This is due to the fact, we had a big table of 4 adults and 6 children, the buffet was empty everytime we went up The service was awful! No one wanted to take our money obviously as was waiting 15mins for anyone to turn up! ANOTHER UPDATE. Recently went back and I'm so glad we did! It was a super busy week night, they managed to fit us in and warned us of an hour wait. The staff were accommodating. The food was actually served within the hour and was hot and cooked well. The salad bar was replenished when required. Alot better service increased stars, thanks Pizza Hut!

Not very happy with the service. Visited on a Saturday evening one of the expected busiest days of the week. Seated next to the main entrance, it was fairly cold outside but nobody closed the door so had to get out of my seat on 5 separate occasions to close them. The emphasis seemed to be preparing the delivery orders rather than the dinning room. Had a booking for 5.30pm and arrived 10 mins early but Sat down almost immediately. Order placed within 15 mins but had to wait until well gone 18.30 before we received our food. Will stick with my local pizza place , more value for money , just as good a quality and less of a wait.

Shame to see ribs and anchovies removed from the menu. Otherwise lovely service, clean loos, no sticky table tops, and background music not too loud. 👍👍👍

Disappointing visit to pizza hut last weekend. The service was so slow and when the food did eventually arrive one of our orders wasn't correct. The waiter did quickly say that he would get it sorted but unfortunately that led to a further 20 minute wait!! I don't feel that it's too much to expect to be able to all eat together. The food was good as usual but we will definitely think before we book to eat there again...... I think it's time that restaurants returned to serving customers actually dining in and stop committing to so many delivery service orders which are completely ruining restaurants!!
