Novelli's in Fife

We are regular visitors and normally have just hot drinks, a cappuccino for my husband and a black tea for me. The staff are all fantastic and so friendly. I had an ice cream last visit and it was delicious. Not the cheapest but definitely worth paying for. They even do "themed" ice creams, including blackforest gateau at Christmas, which was amazing. No wonder they are constantly winning prizes. A great place.

Went for a ice-cream, was £8 for 3 scoops of ice-cream, I was totally in shock, I have ever paid £8 in my life for 3 scoops of ice-cream, the lady said it was home made,which I replied I can get 3 scoops of freshly made ice-cream in my home town for£1.50, I ever saw the price till I hade to pay,so happy the rest of the family wasn't with me at the time, wont be back

I visit Novellis frequently and have mentioned this to various staff members to no avail. It’s an iecream shop with seating facility for drinks. The toilets have never been open since Covid I think this is totally unacceptable and must put customers off visiting the establishment.

Novellis is the perfect addition to burntisland high street! The delicious deserts are out of this world! Not to mention they sell Kimbo coffee... no more trips to edinbrugh just for a decent latte. Staff are always lovely and welcoming and recently was even able to bring my dog along.

I moved to burntisland late last year and kept up my buying an espresso everyday routine here. The staff have been so nice to me, saying hi everytime I come in, which is everyday. I've met evryone who works here now and they are always friendly and welcoming, it cheers me up if I'm stressed. The coffee is the reason i started coming as its the best in town, but now Ive had enough of the ice cream to say its delicious too. You get exactly the right amount so as not to feel fat and bloated and where you still enjoy the taste with the last mouthful as with the first. Fantastic place.

Good ice cream and nice waffle cone for £2.10. Nice place with friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed the Toffee Fudge and the Banana & Marshmallow ice creams. Recommended.

We made an unplanned trip to Burntisland and decided to try and get an ice cream (and seat) at Novellis. Staff were really helpful, great menu and quick service. Ice cream pancake and mini waffles (both served with Nutella) were to die for! Will definitely be back. It’s funny how it is just across the road from the previous ice cream parlour (Dandi Macaris) - must be something about that end of the High Street.

The ice-cream is nice and the staff are lovely and polite. My issue lies with hygiene, not a single member of staff had a face covering on and they were preparing food wearing rings. The shop was also overrun with families that had flooded into Burntisland due to good weather. There was no attempt by staff at forming a line which meant crowding.

Not the cheapest place, especially if you’re feeding a family, but very tasty ice cream and a good selection of premium flavour options. Plenty of other treats such as waffles on the menu which I didn’t try this time

The ice cream is delicious however it is expensive for very little. For a sundae with only 2 scoops of ice cream it costs £5.50 whilst a cone (with the same amount of ice cream) costs £2 less. You also feel very rushed when ordering if it’s busy. The first time I visited there were no complaints. This is my 2nd and last time of spending money there.

I bought mini waffles with a chocolate sauce and a scoop of ice cream and it was very nice and tasty with no complaints. I also bought a takeaway tea but ended up throwing it away it because tasted foul. Please use better quality teabags!.

Tried here tonight. It was fantastic! We weren’t sure what to order and a lovely staff member helped us decide. Had chocolate kebab with ice cream and a box filled with warm waffles etc. We will definitely be back soon to try some more things from the menu. Excellent quality with great staff.

They have so many flavours you are spoilt for choice, the staff are so lovely and always aim to please. We have been several times now and never disappointed. Best ice cream shop in Fife in my opinion.

Three different cones bought on a chilly day. All excellent, banofee, curly wurly and bubblegum. Fantastic nut crusted waffle cones for two and a sherbet cone for the third. Yum, yum, yum. Good value too.

You can't go to the seaside without getting an ice cream & after a meal in a hotel we had to walk into the high street just to do that. I got a Biscotti scoop in a lovely crisp waffle cone. I was not disappointed as so tasty. There was a large range off ice cream to choose from as well as cones etc. Great ice cream.

Absolutely brilliant, we have been on a good few occasions now and it's just great. The icecream, waffles, milkshakes, all amazing (even for the adults!) . The staff are just lovely, Isabella especially! The place is spotless, every single time we are there. Great social distancing rules and everything in place to keep customers very safe while visiting. Highly recommend.❤️

The ice cream is pretty iffy. A scoop of vanilla and another of strawberry left a distinctly soapy taste in my mouth. Hard to get these basics wrong yet they have managed it. Do not be taken in by the faux Italian theme.

We LOVE Novellis! The choices are amazing. We love the waffles and chocolate kebabs, just absolutely delicious! A great place with lovely staff and a real favourite of ours.

Fantastic range of flavours of gelato. Different sized cones and tubs. Assorted toppings .The salted caramel is always my fave. It is to die for. Also serves really good coffee and small selection of cakes. Just a shame there isn't room for more tables

Good choice of traditional and novel ice-cream varieties, good coffee and a small selection of cakes etc offer a good range of snacks. Pleasant service, clean surroundings and tasty ice-cream made for a very pleasant break.

Just been here with my daughter, tried the dairy free beetroot, rhubarb and Apple sorbet, delish. Ended up also trying the bubble waffle, we shared this and was also delicious. Always nice to see different flavours on offer. We'll be back.
