arrived lunch time with my Wife ordered salt beef it was shredded in hard bread it was disgusting not salt beef I have known my wife had a Meat kebab it was in pitta bread with cut up beef burger I do not know where they get the name of this food from not as shown on photos of the food advertised on the internet will never visit here again shame because the staff are so helpful

Use to love this place when I ate here 10/15 years ago. I remember the lovely bread most of all. We ordered cheese toastie and smashed avacado with smoked salmon and egg, with a side of chips. The cheese toastie was drowned in a bland Alfredo sauce with a mountain of mushrooms (mushrooms were not even mentioned on menu). Why so much sauce? Toasties should be crispy, not soggy. Who designed this menu? The smashed avacado was totally illogical. Toast topped with avacado paste, topped with smoked salmon, topped with fried eggs. The eggs cooked the salmon and heated up the avacado! No one with any aesthetic for food would think of this. The salad was not dressed. They forgot the chips (burnt when they arrived) Frozen chips btw. The coffee was weak. The apple juice was not fresh. Honestly If it was cheap, I would not be so annoyed. All this rubbish was just shy of 50£. Shop around.

The food was really poor. For what it was, it was also ridiculously expensive. £19 plus 15% service for a the worst salt beef sandwich I’ve ever eaten . Soggy white bread and dry and tasteless salt beef. The reason I gave a second star was because the staff were very nice

PROS * Good kosher food * Good quick attentive friendly helpful service * Big portions * Reasonably quick delivery of the order * Prime location in the center of the orthodox Jewish community CONS * It can be crowded * This is not inexpensive (but not outrageous either) "I VISITED THIS PLACE"... ... knowing nothing in advance- I was walking Golders Green Road looking at all the restaurants and trying to decide. This was a very good choice. The first time that I was there, I ordered aubergine shnitzel- it had a very interesting unique and succulent taste- how was I to know that I had ordered probably the only vegetarian item, which was eggplant!! So I returned and ordered the real shnitzel, which I enjoyed very much. The portions are large and plentiful and presented in a colorful and pleasing-to-the-eye manner. I visited the nearby and affiliated milky restaurant, but chose not to eat there. It looked fine too and a reasonable milky menu, and it was much much less crowded. WAS IT WORTH THE COST? It was not cheap, but I do think that it was worth the cost, as evidenced by the fact that I went back for a second time when there are many other kosher dining options on that street WOULD "I VISIT THIS PLACE" AGAIN? Yes ADVICE * Go and enjoy- "arrive hungry and leave satisfied" * Do not be fooled by the title "aubergine shnitzel": that's a vegetarian non-meat item

Ordered the mixed grill which was meant to include a rib eye steak and lamb chops . Unfortunately we got served lamb cutlets and meat on a skewer ! The meat was of a bad quality and cost us £95 plus 13% service . Very expensive for bad quality. A very very overpriced restaurant with very disappointing food . However , very nice ambience in the restaurant.

We last minute went to Novellino Bistro and had a delicious dinner. The staff were so attentive and friendly the minute we arrived, the food arrived quickly (but not too quick!) and was so tasty - I think it could be the best kosher burger I’ve had! Definitely recommend.

A Kosher gem! A beautiful restaurant with impeccable service - the food was 10/10, and in particular the steak was absolutely delicious. Cooked perfectly and with a fantastic wine sauce. Highly recommend!

Ordered on Uber eats as normal take out had no shwarma. This wasn't shwarma but chopped up tiny cubes of meat. Portions very small compared to Sami's and arrived lukewarm. Expensive for what it is. £7 for 2 tomatoes and a bit of cucumber in a salad and £26 for something that's is not off a spit. Best thing was the delivery driver. Won't be ordering again.

Six of us went here for an early supper and was not disappointed. The service from Ionela was first class and showed she cared about the food that was being served. The portions that we had for main courses were large and two of the meals were not finished. Will return if back in GG.

I tried a Novellino breakfast. That's the dish of your choice from the breakfast list served also with salad, breads, cream cheese, smoked salmon PLUS a hot drink AND a cold drink. Pretty good value.

Prices are stupid so I walked out. There's very little choice of kosher places that have sensible prices and good food. But there are such places and Novellino is taking the Mickey.

Tuve sopa de calabaza con pan como entrante, goujons de pescado con papas fritas y ensalada como plato principal y coca cola para beber. Además, tenía una botella de agua, capuchino y macron como postre. Mi amigo tenía el mismo plato que yo, para el plato principal tenía una chaqueta de papa con frijoles y ensalada y jugo para beber. De postre tenía helado. Nuestra factura llegó a 45. 00 libras y estábamos contentos con nuestra comida.

A crowd of ladies enjoyed a reunion here, celebrating the return of an old friend who moved to Australia many years ago. Service was friendly, the food was tasty and we all enjoyed ourselves.

Unlike some of the other reviews here we were very happy both with the service and the food. We ate on an early weekday evening. The restaurant was relatively empty but starting to fill. The menu was not well presented but service was good and our food was prepared fast. The food was tasty although there seems to be some variation in quality between the different dishes. However all in all, we were happy.

Incredibly noisy restaurant meant that eating there was a painful experience - we couldnt hear one-another talk so a real waste of money even if the food was quite good quality. However chips did not arrive with the rest of the meal and we had to wait until we had finished our mains before the water arrived

Luckily the food was lovely so hats off to the chef. It's Kosher. However there didn't seem to be anyone in charge. The staff had to be asked for everything water, wine extra courses. I am sure one of them was reading/texting on his phone at the counter. Waiters in huddle of 3. No care on serving the food. No-one bothered to ask how our food was. No smile except when doing the bill. Would I go back - not sure - but the food was good no fault there.

A Kosher Dairy restaurant that has concentrated on doing what they do do well. Starters where meals on their own. Mains defeated almost everyone they were so large. Fish is fresh and well prepared as were all the meals. Service was pleasant and quick. All contributed to a very pleasant evening and would gladly recommend this restaurant.

We went tonight with some friends and all of us have come home hone praising this resturant. The food itself was delicious, well proportioned, well priced for what you get, beautifully presented and the choice on the menu is amazing. The baked pasta and tuna carpaccio were personal favourites but everything we tried was delicious. The choices of wine were also great and the waiters and manager were so helpful in picking wine to compliment the food. The staff were friendly and patient. This is a non meaty resturant but the perfect place to go on date night, catch ups with friends, family dinners and even business lunches too where they have lunch specials. Pure excellence. Thank you!

Dinner with a fine smooth white wine and very nicely cooked tuna steak. The desert with a sticky chocolate brownie cake, fruit compote and ice cream a fine finish. Chef seems most comfortable with seafood given the selections. Very attentive service and plenty of fine sides and appetizers to keep one satisfied.

The special breakfast menu is serverd until 12 noon and is £12.50 for a breakfast dish (or shakshuka) plus a small soft drink and a hot drink. One of our party wanted a salad, but it was only 11.40 a.m and only the limited menu is available until 12 noon! Even though the restaurant was not busy, there was no helpfulness on the part of the waitress; she did not offer to consult the chef! I actually asked her if we should wait until 12 to order!By contrast, the waiter who took our order was very pleasant and helpful. The food was good, plenty of bread, but my cup of English breakfast tea (which i requested towards the end of my meal) was lukewarm. Additional hot water did not help, but eventually, the waiter microwaved it (!) and it was piping hot!I really enjoyed my eggs benedict, but the "brekkie" was not so well received, although plentiful.

So, I went here recently with a group of 16 members of my family varying of ages from 11-28 and two infants. We were first assigned a waitress who would only take orders from the order people at the table and then complained when we would have to correct orders or make additional orders. Surely it would have been easier to go around the table and take orders no? Also, the waitress lost patience and gave a 12 year old child a telling off, leaving every one of us in shock. We were then assigned a new waitress who seemed nicer however, the three portions of shakshuka we ordered were supposed to come with a side of tapenade, we asked for her to bring them and because a single person asked she only brought one. We then asked for the rest and she was extremely rude about the fact that she had to go back to the kitchen to bring it. Surely she should have known that it was prt of the meal from the beginning? If not maybe it would have made sense to bring all three when she was told that it came with the meal? APPARENTLY NOT! Apparently it was more reasonable to tell us that she is a part time waitress and does not need the hassle. STAY CLEAR

Went to Novellino for a friend's birthday. Its not the first time there. As always food portions were huge. I never know why people (my friends included) moan about large portions. Surely small portions are worth moaning about! My fish was cooked to perfection, the sushi was amazing and I dont like sushi... and the service was wonderful. The place was busy but staff were attentiveIts all of our favourite dairy kosher place to eat at and we all give it a 10/10.

Visited yesterday. The restaurant was busy but not full and I knew that as I walked through the door the service was going to be hit and miss! The waiter didn't show us to out table he pointed to it and I had to confirm which one it was. We were given menus which had an enormous choice, I had the mushroom soup to start followed by Salmon Tandoori with ratatouille and rice. The food was delicious and huge portions but the service was not attentive and we had to keep calling the waiter over each time. In the end we reduced the standard service charge which was added to the bill to what we wanted to pay. The manager did apologise when we complained about the service and he explained that his regular staff were on holiday. All the food we had was good and huge portions I think there was just a glitch in the service due to holiday season, therefore I would give this restaurant another try.

We popped in for an afternoon snack.Two lemon teas were accompanied by a salmon & asparagus dish (very good salmon, measly portion of asparagus, good though small guacamole side) and a good vegetarian spring roll.The place was rather quiet but ambience and service were good.Overall, a generous Very Good

I visited yesterday with my friend and we ordered salmon, veg and rice, it was disgusting my rice had not been cooked to order, it was obvious it had been cooked sometime before and just dished up as each customer ordered it, it was not soft and tender as expected in a steamed rice, it was lumpy, the salmon was so greasy it was covered in oil and the oil had permeated through and it was disgusting, the mixed veg contained courgettes which I hate and the veg had been stir fried in oil and was so greasy it was dreadful, the salad had an awful taste of balsamic vinegar I think, which I hate, why do restaurants insist in covering salad with tasteless dressings instead of leaving olive oil etc. on the table for customers to season? The tea came in a glass cup with hot water and a tea bag. We resolved that was the first and last time we would go back there, Isola Bella is a much better kosher restaurant.

Food barely adequate. Profiteroles sent back as not fully defrosted. But worse than the food was the presentation and service. Slice of lemon in the expensive water? Some sort of condiment for the gujons? As they say, gornisht. This was once a nice place. Going steadily downhill. We have been perhaps a half dozen or more times but won't return after the last few visits, especially the last one. Staff needs training in how to run a restaurant. 'Enjoy' and 'Have a nice day' ain't sufficient.

Visited last night as a party of 6. The restaurant was completely full and buzzing. Good menu with plenty of choice. Service though was very poor. We waited ages for the waiter to come and get our order and then the food took ages to arrive. One of our party ordered a vegetable lasagne and another, the aubergine lasagne. The waiter mixed them up to the great disappointment of the aubergine guest. Neither of them realised immediately, but it was poor service as the aubergine lasagne was given to the guest as the vegetable lasagne - it was not! Also, 5 guests received their orders and the waiter had to be reminded about the missing meal. The waiter also forgot the drinks. Having said that, the food itself was generally very tasty and generous portions. £135 (incl. service) for 6 main meals, 8 drinks, 1 desert, no alcohol.

We booked a table for 6 We ordered and within 10 minutes all the dishes were served to perfection.The food was fresh and very tasty.
