He comido aquí muchas veces y nunca he tenido una mala experiencia.

Traditional Anglo-Italian classic cafe with all the favourites. The interior is amazing - original 1940s / 50's, a complete museum - it's terrific. A slice of the real seaside. The Pellicci'a of the South Coast! Good food and like all classic cafes, nine million combinations if you're a veggie. More if you're not. Pret can't do you a sausage and egg white sandwich.

My friend and our two dogs were welcomed into this interesting cafe. A wonderful toastie and several cups of tea later for us and a welcomed bowl of water for the dogs, we rested our tired legs listening to smooth music. Great cafe amongst many others in the same road.

Lovely old cafe in a central location. Pricing was not too bad. However we had a wait of 45 minutes for some sandwiches and toast with only about three other tables in the cafe. Also the food was slightly on the greasy side when it came out.

On a day out in Eastbourne, we found this place & so glad we did. A very nostalgic place with a great choice of snacks & meals , some really homely dishes (steak pie, bacon suet pudding) all very reasonably priced. Very friendly staff too ,will definitely eat here again !

This was the first time I had ever eaten here. I was in Eastbourne for a day out with my daughter and grandaughter, we had traveled from Hastings not far along the coast. After a long day walking around, shopping and what have you I decided to treat us all to some chips and an ice cream. This place was the quietest so we took a table outside in the amazing sunshine. The man who took our order was so friendly, he really made us feel welcome. I also noticed that he was helping other customers who were elderly and somewhat disabled. The way he kindly treated those other elderly customers restored my faith in humanity. The staff really did go above and beyond their job to make sure all their customers, including myself and my family, were absolutely enjoying themselves and the food. However, I must say that the wait for a small bowl of cheesy chips and a child's small sausage and small chips did take a lot longer than expected. The ice cream afterwards was lovely. If you want to feel at home then this is the place to go. No frills, good food, and the mosts AMAZING STAFF I've ever had the pleasure to meet.

We often go here if we are in the area . This is a nice , clean , good place to eat , with very reasonable prices . They sell the old comfort foods of my childhood fish finger sandwich , bacon pudding , which my husband adores , tastes as good as what his mum used to make . You are always made very welcome , it is a blast from the past , no frills , just good food , pleasant staff . You must try the ice cream , it is vanilla , based on an old Italian recipe , my husband had the knickerbocker glory , I had the double nougart wafer . You won't get better ice cream than this , loved it . If you walk past , you really don't realise what you are missing !!

I love a good, old fashioned fry up and the old cafe experience. And this is a great, no-nonsense eating establishment with good food specials and some definite history. Pure Old-School Indulgence. I have had their ice cream for years -it is simple and one flavour based on an old family italian recipe. Love it!

A hidden gem in Eastbourne. Definitely a place to come for good old fashion cafe food. I love Terminus Road by the Seafront. I get my home comfort breakfasts and lunches. Their prices are still in the past. Nuff Said! :)

No! ! !

Last refurbished in the 1960's this place has been an Eastbourne institution since 1936. It's pretty scruffy but the food is freshly prepared and the staff are helpful and friendly. There is a lot of competition on Terminus Rd but for an honest, value meal you could do much worse.

Found this little place while staying round the corner at the new Premier Inn. The folks are so very kind and friendly. We had our breakfasts there every day of our stay and enjoyed each one - and the company. Could have stayed all day, chatting! Enjoyed a lovely roast dinner one day as well. Give them a try, you won't regret it!

If you want good honest food, very friendly service and genuine individuality head here. Full of history, photos, signage and memorabilia from the 30's.Aldo the owner and chef is passionate about the restaurants history and origins, refreshing when we are surrounded by bland eateries and chains. This place has a soul, which other places are lacking. My family sampled the daily specials and all day breakfasts all well cooked, tasty and hot. Generous size tea pot with extra hot water and great desserts.Service friendly and attentive and great value.

Whilst visiting Eastbourne on a sunny day!! went in for Cup of tea. Very friendly service and reasonably priced. (Had on afternoon special @ £2.99 each) Upon chatting to the staff found that it was the same company that as a boy I used to visit in Harrow many years ago. As with the previous reviewer would definitely go back next time am in Eastbourne

I had passed this quirky looking restaurant before delivery coding to try it. Clearly very different but worth the visit. I had the french onion soup, which was tasty and very filling. I was advised not to order anything more until I had finished. Thanks, he was right as I was full. The service was friendly, informed and honest. I will be going back.
