Birthday party ruined!!!! My friend hosted a birthday party and so many things ruined her day. 1) Beginning with the food - when it came to the desserts, out of all the desserts listed, only two options were available, which should've been warned on their website or something, so we could've booked somewhere else 2) When we got extra drinks, we were given paper cups to have the drinks in, which is so unprofessional, especially in a restaurant establishment - there were definitely more cups available, as we were the only one's at the restaurant for majority of our reservation 3)When we were creating a video of her friend opening her gifts, whilst eating our desserts, we were told to quiet down, which makes no sense, given how were were talking at a normal level (and there were 9 of us, so naturally it would add up), and also it's a birthday celebration, so of course there would be noise (much more noise than any of the amount that we made) 4) The male waiters were constantly staring at us and kind of hovering around, which was very uncomfortable, for a young group of girls, and we just wanted to be left alone 5) We were told to start preparing to leave 30 minutes before our reservation ends which makes no sense - stating that they have another party coming in an hour after 6) The bathrooms were extremely smelly so definitely do not recommend using the toilets. Very embarrassing 7) The lighting in by the mirrors are absolutely horrendous, which is really upsetting as we wanted to take good pictures by that area.

Food taste is average but unfortunately we’ve been served stale Lamb Chops!

Had a family night out but it was totally ruined.Awful food and we could smell the spices on some food.Don’t waste your money and time there.you can see some good reviews here but probably from their family members.

Went with the family on a Saturday night - 10 of us. Decent family, kid friendly restaurant. Didn’t have a booking and the restaurant had ‘reserved’ placards on every table but were kind enough to seat us anyway (with a time limit - plenty of time though). Had to send some of the cutlery away at the start as they were dirty and were replaced promptly. We all ordered Indian food - it was ok - not the best Indian food I’ve had at a restaurant and a little pricey for what it is but I guess you’re paying for the aesthetics too. Biriyani was awful but the cheese naans and the butter chicken were decent. Service was very attentive and polite.

I recently visited a restaurant nosh in London that served lamb mandi, and it was one of the worst experiences I've had in recent times. If you're looking for good mandi, I'd recommend heading to East Ham instead. When I tried to speak with the chef about my concerns, I was told he was too busy with closing tasks, which felt unprofessional. It was frustrating to see other customers also having issues with their food while the chef remained absent. Although the manager on the floor was polite and tried to handle the situation, it seemed like he was just deflecting the real issues rather than addressing them. Overall, this place did not meet expectations, and I won't be returning. There are much better options out there for lamb mandi.

Family attended Saturday evening 6/7pm, being the only customers i thought i was in for a treat. Ordered couple mix grills, lamb chops, rice and lamb ghost. Resonable prices. Food was nice came out quick, poor drink selection and overpriced. Decor was very nice. However staff was more tentaive to cleaning the floors and cutleries and talking about their personal life issues amongst other staff. I did later asked if they can play some background music. However to add to the disappointment they had no desserts available (Saturday night).

Super unorganised and slow service. They took our order three days ago and insisted that we spend a minimum of £400 as we had a party of 20 people and need to pay cash and said it this will be easier for them which we agreed although it was strange for them to even suggest this but when we got there we were the only people there throughout the whole evening not a single customer walked in and I know why now. Instead of giving out all the starters for everyone together they started cooking the entire meal for some people and not giving others me and my little children our starters and not even papadums and were left with no food for about 45 minutes while other people from our party who were adults were getting their entire meal. The staff looked like they were lost and half asleep no one even bothered to check and get our papadums out while we were waiting for our starters for more then half an hour we had to tell them three times to get the papadums and lassi. When the food arrived the mandi was too spicey and the dhal only tasted of green chillies. Few dishes were ok but can’t even give this place a two star unfortunately.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND at all. AVOID if possible!!! Booked a table for a large party, had to pre order over the phone 3 days earlier (starters and mains course) we made 5 order out of 25 people with starters and mains. Arrived at the venue on time 5:45pm Sunday, not a single customer in so it was not busy at all. Took a while to take the drinks order and even more to arrive at the table (my mango lassi took over 20min) at that point was finishing almost my starters. Food came out, (we were told they will bring first starters and after mains, what is the normal thing to do in any service) well they brought starters and mains at the same time for the first group order, then second group, at this point we complaint to the server that they should bring only starters for the rest of groups as we have kids waiting and hungry. Asked to speak to manager, none there to speak. The whole experience was bad and the food was not that good. Won’t come came and would not recommend to anyone.

Salaam sis, Hope all well with you . **Customer Service Review and Complaint – at Nosh Restaurant yesterday evening Friday 20 September from 18:30 ** I would like to share my recent experience at Nosh Restaurant, which, unfortunately, left myself and many of my guests disappointed due to several issues with the service. 1. **Birthday Celebration Mishap**: I had brought a cake, candles, and a matchbox, and informed the waiter of the birthday lady's name, requesting a small celebration with a "Happy Birthday" song. To my surprise, when the cake was brought out, there were no candles, and no one sang or acknowledged the birthday as requested. 2. **Severe Delays**: Throughout the evening, there were significant delays with the food, drinks, tea, and the cake. Many of our group were left waiting for a prolonged time, and several left without even receiving the complimentary tea due to the delays. This was incredibly frustrating, as it affected the mood of the gathering. 3. **Unacceptable Wait Times**: Personally, I received my food after waiting over 2 hours, along with other guests who faced similar delays. Such long waiting times for food are unacceptable, especially when the evening was planned around the restaurant's service. 4. **Order Issues**: Despite several guests, including myself, specifically requesting drinks without ice, we were still served drinks with ice. Furthermore, I had clearly asked for the food to be served individually as soon as each order was ready, but I was told the restaurant would serve everything at once. This led to extended waiting times, as no one received their food until everyone had ordered, causing further frustration. 5. **Limited Service**: To our shock, there was only one waiter handling the entire service for our group, which was clearly inadequate for the size of the party. The waiter seemed overwhelmed, and this undoubtedly contributed to the delays and the poor service we experienced. 6. **Missed Complimentary Tea**: When I inquired about the complimentary tea, I was told we had to wait until everyone had finished eating. This created unnecessary delays, ladies being upset and, as mentioned earlier, many left before the tea was even served. Several guests have urged me to ask for a discount due to the substandard service and have insisted that I not book with Nosh Restaurant for our upcoming gatherings. Based on this experience, I can’t see myself recommending or returning to the restaurant unless significant improvements are made. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, and steps are taken to address the service issues.

Great place to taste Indian and Grill food. All the portions are very good and prices are very good too. Great taste and service was wonderful. I definitely will come back to this again and again.

Everything was nice minus the lamb chops

One of the worst indian food we have had in Ilford area or anywhere. Hardly any taste of food. Lets start with drink, Nosh delight and Virgin Mojito was tasteless. Nosh delight mango juice was probably tesco value type. My Mrs didn't like Mojito at all as she always drink mojito from other indian restaurants and she knows the taste. Starter - Somosa Ragda Chat somosa was less than basic- genuinly yuck. Masala Loaded fries fries was probably cooked long time ago and cold though we were the second customer at the restaurant. Only starter we liked a bit was Chicken 65 a bit of flavour. Main Course - Lamb Mandi is worst kind, very dry and bland and very unattractive looking dish. Bhuna gosht was for my son and ohh my hardly any meat and full of sauce. Only main we liked is Crispy Chicken Sizzler. Finally don't want to even mention Garlic Naan and tandoori roti. Specially garlic butter naan is not even a naan. Waiter was constaly coming and annoying saying shall i take this take that as if they wants us to go as this was saturday 7pm and they probably want the table to be empty though we have orderd lots of food.

First time I had lamb mandi and it did not disappoint me. Lamb shank was very tender and yummy. Also stater sheek kabab very juicy and tasty. Dynamite chicken was excellent. Very good service and also explanation of food when we ask them regarding the few dishes. Very clean and tidy. Plus point it has prayer room facility it’s small but it’s there. Thanks to management for providing facility.

Every dish we ate was tasty.Remind s back home taste.We ordered Achari chicken,Samosa chaat, chicken/veg munchurian sizzler,Lamb and chicken curry with naans and of course chicken dum biryani.Highly recommend this place

I visited this restaurant yesterday with my friends, and we had a fantastic experience! The food was delicious, and the ambience was just right. The staff was friendly, polite, and made sure to inform us about the kitchen closing time in advance as we were almost there during the closing time. Sunday's closing time on the website differs from actual. I noticed that some recent reviews seem to be more about frustration than the actual experience at the restaurant. While it's perfectly fine to share your thoughts, I believe it's important to do so respectfully. Posting photos of staff members, especially in a negative context, is not appropriate. My experience with the staff, including the same team mentioned in those reviews, was nothing short of pleasant. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for good food and excellent service. Just make sure to keep an eye on the kitchen hours, as the staff does a great job of managing it smoothly!

It was bad experience visiting in this restaurant and staff is very useless

Very unhappy with your restaurant service. In the online the time is showing 11:30 p.m . We visited at 10:00 p.m. We are 10 friends group. Your staff behaviour is very bad and rude with customer. He said that the kitchen is locked at that time customer is doing dinner. Very unhappy with this.😡😡😡😡😡

We just come with friends at 10:00 pm we checked online timing is 11:30 and they are close at 10:00 and staff is too rude we came to eat and pay we are not come for free so stay good with costumers, and we are call them at 9:30 they haven’t answered the call as well.

Sucha an embracing service of this restaurant and staff were ruthless the timing of this is 11:30, but when I came to the restaurant it was quater to 10:00 they didn’t allowed us and the staff were not good enough for service. It was the worst food I have had in the last 20 years. The food was old, the shish kebab was frozen and cold which was then warmed up in the microwave; everything was not fresh. The chicken was so hard and old that it simply wasn’t edible anymore. Disgusting. Stay away. Beware. Enjoyed the 7up.

I simply love this restaurant. I never really tried Indian food, but when I found this place everything changed. I always order lamb mandi.❤️ It’s delicious🥹. Price is reasonable, food has so much flavour. My fave❤️.

We booked this place for a group of us (under 20) however we were told to order our meals via email the night before, service was not great, mistakes were made with our order, poppadums were stale (they did give a fresh batch after we raised the concern) and some of the drinks on the menu were not available on the day- falooda went ‘off’ so we couldn’t have it- we were given a jug of lassi on the house though. Also we were charged £6 more for one of the meals (we ordered two of) compared to the menu online which we based our pre order from, overall it seemed a little chaotic and disorganised and the food was not of a high standard- salty chutney etc I hope improvements are made as the decor was lovely

I'm a regular customer here but I have to note that the waiter didn't wash his hands when he arrived from the bus and got straight to handling dishes. I'm unhappy with that. The food is always good though.

4th time here. Food was always full of flavours, but every time curries were always way to salty. I ordered today to request the chef puts hardly any salt to make it only slightly salty. Curry came out just as salty, if not more salty than the other times. Food portions are a lot smaller than when the restaurant was new.

We 2 adults have been here just once so far, and it was mid day on a weekday. Ordered indo chinese chicken hakka nuddles and rice and fish masala fry. Food quality - 1. Fish Fry - very bad, no fish flesh, too much of corn flour used to make it crispy, felt dehydrated after eating this. 2. Chicken hakka noodle - very bad, chicken was half cooked and with raw flesh smell. Didn't finish the full dish by 3. Chicken fried rice - just fine, but the same chicken used, rice was edible by taking out chicken pieces. Didn't finish the full dish Food quantity - 1. Fish fry - good 2. Noodle - very good portion for 1 person 3. Rice - very good portion for 1 person Food temperature - 1. fish fry - very, very hot 2. Noodle - mild warm and rest of the disb turned cold while eating 3. Rice - same as above. Service - there was no rush, and one member of staff was there to take orders , he was friendly and helpful but he was cleaning the floor and taking orders at the same time which didn't look appropriate specially he was also serving the customers. We did report the feedback on food and its quality. Staff member was patient and accepted chef's mistake and apologised and didn't charge for the noodles and rice. Atmosphere - ambience and overall clealiness observed. No onsite parking but citi car park is nearby

Very good service. The waitress was very sweet and felt like home. I went there on my birthday and the food was delicious. Will definitely visit again.

Excellent food and reasonably price. Hope they keep it that way. Parking in the Ilford shopping center is probably the best option and walk over. Maybe a 5 min walk. They did decide to offer it out as a venue for events especially during mid week so worth calling up first before you head over. Don't make that mistake I made :)

We hosted Eid party here. Food was tasty, fresh and appreciated by all guests ( choose your menu after tasting it in their tasters option). Staff were attentive and kept on top of the refills!! It’s a no-brainier for guests size of 30-35!!

We've had a lamb mandi and a chicken mandi. The chicken mandi was more value for money compared to lamb. The lamb piece which we get for mandi is very tender and juicy but just only one piece isn't enough for whole mandi. And the rice given for mandi has no flavour or taste to it. It's just plain the rice should improve.

I have visited with family a few days ago. Portions are very small, especially the curry which only had 5 pieces of lamb!. This is the first time we’ve seen it that small. Pani puri was 1/10barely any filling and the sauce was not nice at all until the waiter came and replaced it with something else. Papdi chat 2/10 very watery, but had some flavour Lollipop wings 10/10 Chicken noodles 10/10 Mixed mandi 7/10 this need to have more flavour but the rice was very nice. Our jug mojito was full of ice! Their table setting only had spoon and a fork, like we wondered how are we suppose to cut without a knife. This needs to change! As you need all three cutleries. Overall we did have a nice experience but some of the food was a let down.

The food is awful. All the comments in most reviews will say the same. The venue is nicely done up. But it's a restaurant it needs to have good food. The portions are tiny and full of sauce and few shreds of reheated meat. The butter chicken is £13 for literally sauce! The naans are soo thin. Avoid.

The waiters didnt ask if the food was good or if we needed anything and it felt like they didnt care Because they were laughing in the back while pointing .Besides this the food was good and the restaurant was Nice.

Disappointed with the food. Had ordered mixed grill, chicken burger, chicken fried rice and masala loaded fries. The chicken fried rice was ok. Grill was burnt. Chicken burger was too watery. The fries did not have any masala. The food just didn’t seem fresh. Apparently menu was going to be changed so some dishes we originally wanted were not available.

Seen a few videos of this place on social media with the Robot serving so thought I would check it out, kids might find it fun seeing the robot, however sadly there was no robot serving just regular staff. The overall venue looks very nice from the outside and the menu has a good selection. There was plenty of staff around which was good but also not good at same time because they kept coming every other second to ask if we wanted to order like they were in a rush. For the drinks the Mango Lassi is a must try, best I've had so far. The food however is not the best I've had, the flavours were not just there, had 3 Currys and they were cooked well but not anything special. The Mendi dish was very disappointing, no flavours at all. With the many places to choose in the area serving the same food style, this would be my first choice.

Lovely birthday dinner meal at Nosh! Attentive and friendly staff who were understanding and cooperative. We really enjoyed the lamb chops, masala chai, poppadoms basket, vegetable biryani and the masala fries! (Only improvement would be having starters first and dinner brought out together) we will be back!

Today we celebrated our sons birthday here. So pleased with the food and service. All the dishes were freshly cooked and delicious, lamb mandi was fab. Highly recommend.

Excellent food with excellent service

Lots of delays, we had to wait around an hour for the food. Mixed grill was salty, lamb mandhi (rice was oily) but would say overall average but the butter naan was good. The restaurant gave us a free biryani as an apology for the delay. Most people who would go to a hmc certified restaurant would boycott some drinks. So would be advisable to add on other drink options.

One of the best restaurant in east london. Nice ambience and very friendly staff. Its a must visit place. I have been to this restaurant more than 5times every dish is delicious and i order food from this restaurant online as well.

We dined here on a very quiet Wednesday evening. We were walk-ins as the restaurant wasn't that busy. Our hostess greeted us with a smile and showed us to our table. The restaurant floor is really nicely decorated and you can tell that a lot of attention has gone into it. The staff were friendly and explained the specials and recommendations to us. Whilst the decor and service is good, the food was decent. We ordered the mix grill (6/10), Lamb Mandi (6/10), kulcha naan (6/10) and a tandoori roti (6/10). Although the food's presentation was good, the flavour was decent, and didnt hit the spot as I'd expected. I'd rate this place at a solid 6 outta 10. It is worth a try.. parking is plenty as you have a clements road car park literally a few meters away from the restaurant.

Decent choice of food options. Though flavour was lacking on the dynamite prawns. There was no kick and very mild.

We had a fantastic time at our Eid event with Nosh! They were incredibly attentive, professional, and exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was absolutely delicious. Our guests couldn't stop praising the service and food, and many expressed their desire to return for more. I highly recommend visiting Nosh and utilising their banquet suite for small parties. Parking onsite and space is spacious, very clean and decorated!

I ordered Chicken Hakka Noodles but the food sent didn’t had one single piece or shred of chicken

The staff and food at Nosh is excellent! The mixed grill was some of the best food I’ve had since moving to the UK! Highly recommend. Very calming atmosphere with exceptional service.

Went for iftar buffet so wasn’t expecting 5 star meals, you could put more items on the menu also the seating next to the food area is too close, would never sit there, prayer room is good but please put a few more thick prayer mats thanks Overall I enjoyed it 😊

Not recommended for iftar . Very Small space . Taste less Gulab jaman and kheer . Even gulab jaman from Tesco pack not even bother to warm . Kheer not cooked properly. Food quantity and service was so so .

The food was edible and mediocre at best. Ordered the samosa chaat, Manchurian and the Delhi butter chicken (accommodated with biryani rice) The butter chicken was not that flavourful. Samosa chat was good but not the best I’ve tried. Manchurian tasted burnt. Manchurian - 4/10 Samosa chaat - 7/10 Butter chicken - 4/10

At the beginning of ramzan, iftar buffet was good, but in yesterday’s iftar buffet nothing was close to the taste of what it was initially. Really disappointed with the taste of haleem, malai chicken and lamb biryani.

I am sorry I have to give a bad review but food was not good at all. We went for iftar and malai boti was not cooked well, lamb biryani lamb was hard we couldn't eat it at all. Gulab jamun was cold. The overall experience was really bad with food, staff was kind. I won’t be visiting again.

Amazing food, amazing staff and amazing ambience - definitely recommend

Amazing food, really tasty. The chicken, lamb and kebab were freshly cooked. The garlic Naan was out of this world. Really welcoming and warm customer service. The manager was constantly ensuring that we were okay and enjoying. Highly recommend and would surely go again!

Nice facilities for families and prayer area. Food was good, staff were very helpful polite. Only con was the menu showed more dishes available but this was not the case. We understand this could be because of the Ramadan Menu....But overall I would recommend Nosh.

Top tier restaurant with amazing service. Ate here in Ramadan with my young family for their buffet option - Whilst there is limited choice of food, all the dishes were 10/10 The fruit options were great, the starter dishes including the fish were well flavoured, the butter chicken was adored by my children and the spicy Manchurian chicken in the oriental noodles was my favourite - would’ve been great if there were fries within the buffet option for the kids, but that small gripe aside, 10/10 for food, quality, taste and service Will most certainly visit again when in the area, shame they don’t deliver to me 70 miles away!

Currys are okay. North indian items are good. Hyderabadi biryani is rubbish. Seems like gaun ki biryani. They need to eat charminar's biryani. Iftar buffet is exceptional excluding biryani

A large group of us are dinner for a friends birthday. Food was well presented, and the service was good. Can't say the same thing about the taste of the food. The lamb chops were thin. The kebab was good. The lamb shank hardly had any meat on them. The butter chicken, not authentic. I couldn't distinguish what the meat curry was. The Mango lassi was the best thing on the night.

Nosh is a perfect restaurant. The food is amazing, the service is great and the atmosphere is wonderful. All the staff members are kind, they treat you with utmost respect. I had a small event hosted on the first floor and was amazed at how the event turned out. Food was buffet style and was brilliant, the service again was top notch. I highly recommend the restaurant.

Food arrived cold which is a shame as reheated dynamite prawns did not taste as nice.

Nosh dining and JUST EAT are a scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ordered for half chicken mandi and it did not even get delivered when i called the restrant they were very impolite as usual just eat did have my refund. FRAUD DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS

I’ve been going to Nosh quite often these days and I’ve tried most of their dishes and am always impressed by the quality and presentation of their food. Nosh easily beats many of central london Indian restaurants in taste. And the pricing of the dishes is very reasonable.

Prices not bad but food not worthy teste so plain and very bad smell inside. Service nice lady but we was only one in restaurant and there are so slow . From my experience is not worth to visit next time

I had a wonderful experience at Nosh Restaurant. I ordered fish fry, dynamite prawns, and veg manchurian sizzler. All the dishes were delicious, especially the Indo-Chinese sizzler, which was the best I ever had in London. The service was excellent, thanks to Divya, who was very kind and helpful. She recommended the best food for me and made sure I was satisfied. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone and I will definitely visit again in the future.
