I visited this restaurant yesterday and ordered a chicken burger. Unfortunately, I found a long hair inside the burger, which was extremely off-putting. I immediately informed the staff, and they replaced the burger without hesitation. While I appreciate the quick response, the incident has left me with serious concerns about the restaurant’s hygiene standards. Based on this experience, I do not feel comfortable dining here again and would not recommend it. Unfortunately I could not take a photograph.

Very rude staff, specially the one who is working at counter in night shift 25 May 2025. He uses his hand gestures to tell customers to step aside and to stop talking, do some training and teach him customer services.

Good quality burgers, I highly enjoyed the food and would recommend!

To be honest I really love big smacks and don burger at smack burgers shop Gants Hill all the stuff are really helpful I strongly recommend everyone to come and enjoy it.

Paid £10.99 for a Big Smack burger and very disappointed. Meat stank, and the sauce was bad. These guys dont know how to make good burgers. Unsatisfactory. Felt like a waste because at that price, I expected better.

Everything will be ok , but my drinks was wrong , coke was missing and milkshake wasn’t strawberry but vanilla

The food was very disappointing. The fries seemed stale and tasted like they had been refried. The burger meat was extremely fatty, to the point where the overwhelming taste of fat made it inedible. The chicken wings were dry and tasted old. Overall, it was a disastrous meal, especially considering the premium price.

I was waiting for my uber at the same time dying to eat a burger .. Snipa was like a fairy she was like don’t worry how far is your Uber I can beat him and had my burger fries and drink ready within 3 minutes. Thing is, she didn’t have to but she gave a second to non service and honestly because of todays experience I’m going to be paying this shop a regular visit .. beautiful customer service .. make snipa in charge if she isn’t already .. SHE is your asset

Ordered the 2x cheeserburgers and fries deal + milkshake. The burger patties were dry and tasteless, the fries were pale and undersalted. The dips were 50p each but did not justify the cost of them. Milkshakes were really good.

Rating this venue in the casual / Fast foods category. However their Burgers are a secret hit , rich and have a simple but buttery taste that is far better than the "boiled beef" taste from 5 lads for example. They have base value picks , the Cheeseburger starts from £3.50 which is very Good in this economically unfavorable climate. I would give their Burgers a high 8/10 bordering on a 9 which is ridiculously good for what is basically a hole in the Wall Quick stop by pick up place. Well done 👍

Waste of £30+ 1. Brisket burger not cooked properly 2. Waffle fries were INSANELY salted, I felt like puking! 3. Chicken wings were cooked from FROZEN not fresh. At this price you’d expect no cheap cash & carry stock! 4. Chocolate Milkshake was the only decent thing!

Great service and delicious food

Ordered the smack burger and loaded fries. As good as any other casual burger place I’ve been to. Flavourful, and angus beef tasted fresh. If you eat in, the area is clean and neat. Do recommend and will be back here again.

Very good bang for buck. The burger was good with the loaded fries being a highlight. Service was also excellent with staff being very friendly and were more than helpful with recommendations on the menu. Overall a very good halal spot to eat.

I got chicken nuggets and fries for just £2! They were very crispy and nice and the atmosphere at the shop was very vibey too . Store was very clean and the food was amazing ! Definitely a 10/10 for me ! Highly recommend :) I will definitely be coming back here !!

Very, very, very average burger. It was flat as a pancake. A macdonalds cheeseburger would have been a better choice. The fries were ok. The chicken wings was quite bad. Overall a very poor eating experience.

Ordered from deliveroo. But the Burgers was not what i was expecting. Really small. And quite tasteless. Nothing to hit home about. Good for if your hungry. The wedge fries were nice. Best thing about my meal. Milkshake was cool. But i wouldnt be a repeat customer because the burger just wasnt great.

Ordered a double cheese burger. The burger was very processed, really bland and barely had flavour. I won’t be coming back, and wouldn’t recommend. The taste is something very similar to a McDonald’s double cheeseburger, so if that’s your thing, this shop may be worth a try for you.

Had an amazing meal at Smacks today. The burgers were soft and delicious, the wings were bursting with flavour and the criscut chips have the perfect crunch to potatoe ratio. Excellent customer service from Shimu. We will definitely come back soon.

I limit my burgers to one a month so after a YouTube Shorts review, I’m figured I try Smacks in Gants Hill. I appreciate it was a Sunday around 13:40 so 1-2 people picking up take away orders. Place was clean. Woman at the till was friendly albeit also cooking food at the back so basic, courteous manner. Now for the food : I ordered the Smack Down meal for £10.39. My verdict : Coca Cola was pure syrup and best avoided. The fries were over cooked and tasted bland and again, best avoided. The smack down burger : smaller than what is advertised. Two meat patties are over powered by the Smack sauce ( maybe too much of it on my burger ?) and the taste of any cheese didn’t come through. The burger was fresh but nothing to write home about and if I do come back I would maybe limit it to the Double Cheeseburger and ask that they don’t over do it on any of the sauces ? I guess roll on another month …

Great halal fast food place. Their Smack Down Burger (double smash burger) is great, and their spicy chicken Smickin Loaded Fries hit the spot for me. So good.

Quality mcdonalds alternative angus beef smash burger. Their breaded wings are decent as they fry them on order so u get them fresh and tender non of that sitting on the rack for hours wings. Try them out for their price points they are decent

Best Smicken burger and hot cris cut fries and of course the don burger was really good.The service was really fast and fine and staffs are really friendly.

I usually order from here on Uber Eats, unfortunately they've changed their nice fries to basic oily french fries which are so poor in taste and texture, not a pleasure to eat at all. The double cheeseburger was meant to be the highlight but it's also gone downhill, really dry even after I added extra sauce, there was nothing extra there. It lacked in flavour and felt so sad whilst eating it. Snacks was an all time favourite, I don't think I'll be reordering.

*** DO NOT EAT HERE - FOOD POISONING *** I ordered from Deliveroo last night and I have been up since 3.30am with a bad belly and diarrhoea. The food did not even taste nice I wish I hadn’t continued eating it. I only ate half the meal as it was disgusting anyway. I have received a refund from Deliveroo but I will never go back.

Really enjoyed the Don Burger with the waffle fries , been here a few times now and service is really good and clean place to eat. Highly recommend!

lovely bbq chicken wings, 30 min drive well worth it

My order was suppose to be delivered last night but it never came in at night. Even tho the restaurant was open till 1 am. The order got delivered now 30 minutes ago which i am not suppose to collect as i wanted the food at night and now i am at work. I made 2 requests last night for refund and another now. Nobody has contacted me.

The burger tastes as if the grill hasn't been clean in a while. Although I think meat quality is fine. It was lacking a little in salt.

The Smack Down Burger at this fast food joint was a real winner! The service was top-notch, making the whole experience even better. The burger was delicious, and the staff was friendly and efficient. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you're craving a tasty burger with great service!

The loaded fries were hard and seemed to have been re-heated and not made fresh. There was not enough meat on top and a lot more fries. Out of the 10 buffalo wings ordered only 3 of them were good size. The remaining wings were small and not worth the amount spent.
