Ordered the smack burger and loaded fries. As good as any other casual burger place I’ve been to. Flavourful, and angus beef tasted fresh. If you eat in, the area is clean and neat. Do recommend and will be back here again.

Very good bang for buck. The burger was good with the loaded fries being a highlight. Service was also excellent with staff being very friendly and were more than helpful with recommendations on the menu. Overall a very good halal spot to eat.

I got chicken nuggets and fries for just £2! They were very crispy and nice and the atmosphere at the shop was very vibey too . Store was very clean and the food was amazing ! Definitely a 10/10 for me ! Highly recommend :) I will definitely be coming back here !!

Very, very, very average burger. It was flat as a pancake. A macdonalds cheeseburger would have been a better choice. The fries were ok. The chicken wings was quite bad. Overall a very poor eating experience.

Ordered from deliveroo. But the Burgers was not what i was expecting. Really small. And quite tasteless. Nothing to hit home about. Good for if your hungry. The wedge fries were nice. Best thing about my meal. Milkshake was cool. But i wouldnt be a repeat customer because the burger just wasnt great.

Ordered a double cheese burger. The burger was very processed, really bland and barely had flavour. I won’t be coming back, and wouldn’t recommend. The taste is something very similar to a McDonald’s double cheeseburger, so if that’s your thing, this shop may be worth a try for you.

Had an amazing meal at Smacks today. The burgers were soft and delicious, the wings were bursting with flavour and the criscut chips have the perfect crunch to potatoe ratio. Excellent customer service from Shimu. We will definitely come back soon.

I limit my burgers to one a month so after a YouTube Shorts review, I’m figured I try Smacks in Gants Hill. I appreciate it was a Sunday around 13:40 so 1-2 people picking up take away orders. Place was clean. Woman at the till was friendly albeit also cooking food at the back so basic, courteous manner. Now for the food : I ordered the Smack Down meal for £10.39. My verdict : Coca Cola was pure syrup and best avoided. The fries were over cooked and tasted bland and again, best avoided. The smack down burger : smaller than what is advertised. Two meat patties are over powered by the Smack sauce ( maybe too much of it on my burger ?) and the taste of any cheese didn’t come through. The burger was fresh but nothing to write home about and if I do come back I would maybe limit it to the Double Cheeseburger and ask that they don’t over do it on any of the sauces ? I guess roll on another month …

Great halal fast food place. Their Smack Down Burger (double smash burger) is great, and their spicy chicken Smickin Loaded Fries hit the spot for me. So good.

Quality mcdonalds alternative angus beef smash burger. Their breaded wings are decent as they fry them on order so u get them fresh and tender non of that sitting on the rack for hours wings. Try them out for their price points they are decent

I usually order from here on Uber Eats, unfortunately they've changed their nice fries to basic oily french fries which are so poor in taste and texture, not a pleasure to eat at all. The double cheeseburger was meant to be the highlight but it's also gone downhill, really dry even after I added extra sauce, there was nothing extra there. It lacked in flavour and felt so sad whilst eating it. Snacks was an all time favourite, I don't think I'll be reordering.

*** DO NOT EAT HERE - FOOD POISONING *** I ordered from Deliveroo last night and I have been up since 3.30am with a bad belly and diarrhoea. The food did not even taste nice I wish I hadn’t continued eating it. I only ate half the meal as it was disgusting anyway. I have received a refund from Deliveroo but I will never go back.

lovely bbq chicken wings, 30 min drive well worth it

My order was suppose to be delivered last night but it never came in at night. Even tho the restaurant was open till 1 am. The order got delivered now 30 minutes ago which i am not suppose to collect as i wanted the food at night and now i am at work. I made 2 requests last night for refund and another now. Nobody has contacted me.

The Smack Down Burger at this fast food joint was a real winner! The service was top-notch, making the whole experience even better. The burger was delicious, and the staff was friendly and efficient. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you're craving a tasty burger with great service!

The loaded fries were hard and seemed to have been re-heated and not made fresh. There was not enough meat on top and a lot more fries. Out of the 10 buffalo wings ordered only 3 of them were good size. The remaining wings were small and not worth the amount spent.

The worst place I've been to. I went based on the hype on social media and the reviews, but the experience was horrible. I arrived at 10 PM, and they said I couldn't dine in and had to take away, even though they are open until 1 AM. The staff was nice for the most part but were definitely overworked, with only two of them handling 20 customers. Now, let's talk about the food. I ordered a spicy chicken dip burger, expecting it to be heavenly for the price of £5.89. But guess what I got? Half the portion size of what Kansas sells. Their dipped burger is miles tastier and spicier, and it costs just £4.99 for a burger that looks like it should cost £7. Overall, I'd highly recommend not going to this place. Also, did I mention the number of people smoking weed there? They were shouting and cussing in front of kids with no repercussions from the staff. What a disappointing day. I thought I’d have a good time on this beautiful day in our calendar as Muslims.

Got into Gants Hill after midnight looking for some decent food, and Smacks did not disappoint. Got a double cheeseburger, and the quality of the ingredients was obvious from the first bite, got that fresh, quality meat in the burger, crunchy gherkins and onions, exactly what I was looking for, reasonable price, super friendly staff, rapid service, definitely recommend Smacks.

I am so disappointed in the food i purchased, i came in and wanted to order some food and immediately i was met with the cashier telling me I can only menu items 1-5. So fair enough if im limited in my choices, me and my wife decided to order number 3 twice. I also asked the cashier to add peri peri salt to the chips and i noticed he added the charge for the peri peri salt. I then ordered 5 smicken wings. I waited about 25 minutes for my order to be ready and then when i went home I noticed my chips did not have any of the peri peri seasoning and that i was only given 4 wings instead of the 5. The burger i ordered was flavourless and so disappointing. I will never come to this establishment not only for the quality of the food but the quality of the service. They are scamming their customers. Honestly its better to go order from a different place. The staff always seem like they are annoyed to help and take your order. This was the last time i visit this place.

What a disappointment Smacks Hamburgers has turned out to be. Their food quality has significantly gone downhill since they first opened. We ordered the Smicken burger, which was bland and flavorless, with the only taste coming from the excessive amount of sauce dumped on top. The wings, both Smicken and Buffalo, were equally disappointing—drenched in sauce but utterly lacking any flavor in the meat itself. To make matters worse, the meal was quite expensive, costing almost £30 for just two meals and some wings. Given the subpar quality and high prices, it's certainly not worth it. There are much better options nearby, so I definitely won't be coming back here anytime soon and cannot recommend Smacks Hamburgers to anyone looking for a good meal.

Grabbed a takeaway today and was left rather disappointed with the food. Ordered a hamburger, chicken burger, smacks loaded fries wings and a biscoff milkshake. The hamburger tasted pretty standard but was extremely tiny for what it cost. Iv honestly never eaten a burger so small for that price. The chicken burger was not too bad but nothing to rave about. I found that the biscoff milkshake tasted nothing like biscoff and although my wife didn't mind it she agreed that the taste was confusing. The bbq wings weren't great however the breaded wings tasted exceptional. This surprised me as I found the rest of the meal bang on average (loaded fries had waffle chips inside which was not too my liking either). Factoring in the price and the quality of the food I believe 3 stars is a generous score, the breaded wings saved the day. Shame about everything else. Will not be returning again unless I have the sudden urge for some breaded wings.

The chicken burger tasted alright but was overpriced for what you get. Angus burger (Smack Down) didn't taste good at all and the portion was much smaller than illustrated in the menu. Pricewise they are overpriced compared to other takeaway shops in the area and price isn't justified with the portion/taste. I would suggest to check out other take aways shops in the area if you want to get value for your money

This is my go to burger place. But today they used these really cheap skinny fries. I hope this is not a perm change as the previous chips were tasty and excellent. If they are moving to this new cheap product I might have to take my business elsewhere. I see it time and time again a new business does well get followers and try to make cuts here and there and it’s a dangerous path.
