Tried my first ever chicken Shish. Amazing!

Was not nice very dry couldn’t eat it

Portions were tiny , I was still hungry after eating. Owner a bit moody aggitated when he could not understand what I was aksing. I do belive I had the same thing last visit. I wont be going again, the meat tasted good but it would have all fitted into 1 desert spoon, very poor and not value for money.

I had a horrible experience all round, the food was bland and overpriced, the service was not good, the fries were not fresh and they did not give me my drink. I would not return!

The worst kebab I have ever seen or eaten. Revolting undercooked chicken that looked microwaved! Chips stale. Avoid this place at all costs Please see other negative reviews.

Always get from this kebab usually fine but tonight they decide to give me a kebab which was a chicken burger cut up been at work since 7am wanted a nice kebab on the way home and they palm me off with some horrible flat chicken then try and deny it on the phone been here several times never had a problem get all the way home and find out they give me this crap never again AVOID AVOID AVOID JUST PURE LAZYNESS

Horrible greasy chicken which tasted 5 days old. The hygiene in this place was awful the guy who made my wrap had his bare hands deep in the food! 🤢 Never again!

Ordered a chicken kebab in a wrap. The fellow behind the counter put two skewers of seemingly chicken breast onto the charcoal grill and asked for the money. I paid immediately and to my astonishment a wrap was filled with some sort of dark chicken meat within a few seconds. On unwrapping at home a few minutes later the kebab was full of disgustingly greasy coldish chicken leg and maybe wing. I was the only person in the shop so grilled breast kebabs were not for another customer. OK, my fault for not questioning, but fool me once shame on you. You won't fool me twice. Truly awful.

Wrong order, food cold lacking in every aspect.

Food is decent, but owner wasn’t pleasant. Seemed to be annoyed generally and when I asked for an extra spoon of sauce he got frustrated.

Great food. Nice people. They will cook for you fresh, and in a live barbeque oven with a coal fire. This gives the kebab a distinct pleasing aroma. Service is also very friendly. Downside: only cash payment is accepted. You can order online, but the online price might be a bit higher than the in-shop price. EDIT: Card payment is now added. Perfect now!

Owner-Horrible Food-- Cooked burger for 2 mins. Then took it off all pink inside. Then the cheese on the chips smelt awful. So threw that away. Cost- rip off asked for a cheeseburger and chips with bit of cheese on he did them separately and charged us 11 pounds something for it... What?!? 5 pounds for the cheap serverley undercooked burger and 6.10 for a few chips with Rancid cheese... So much value. Not 😂 Please to God I hope this doesn't make me sick.

Kebab is fine. Attitude of owner revolves around making money. Sauce? Can I have it in a pot? That’s extra. Salad? Can I have it separately? That’s extra. No friendly conversation and no patience while you attempt to browse the menu. Didn’t argue but I won’t be back. Miserable man.

Terrible service and food. Charge £11:50 cash for chicken shish, got home and the chicken wasn’t cooked in middle, they forgot to put rice in, when I phoned they was very rude and put phone down. On the two other occasions I’ve had food here they alway only accept cash. Tax dodgers! Will never be going back.

the large chicken shish was luke warm and very dry and there was a very poor amount of chicken for a large shish, the halumi was over cooked like eating rubber, and the beef burgers and chips were stone cold I only live 5 mins away. worst food I've had from just eat to date

Was a bit unsure of this place after some of the recent, poor reviews but glad I went. The 2 men cooking and serving are polite, friendly and professional. The food is cooked quickly and is delicious. The portions are generous enough. I've had 2 visits now and bought a large mixed kebab (eat in), and a chicken shish and wrap (take out). All the food was delicious and the wrap was pretty huge. Love it and will definitely go back.

Ordered food for takeout and when I got home the order was incorrect. Called them up to explain and they were not willing to listen to me but instead they were incredibly rude. I was taken aback. Perhaps the owner could have been a bit more understanding.

Found blue rubber in the lamb doner. Unfortunately I will never get kebabs from there now.

I recently placed an order from Northwood Mangal, and I must say I had a highly disappointing experience. After consuming their food, I found myself falling ill and had to rush to the toilet not once, but four times during my workday. This unexpected health issue has certainly left a lasting negative impression on my overall experience with Northwood Mangal. I sincerely hope they take this feedback seriously and improve the quality and hygiene of their food in the future

I sent my two kids to get kebabs. The container was half empty. They didn’t give enough. Very stingy with their portions. Absolutely disgusting. Never go there again.👎🏻👎🏻

We didn’t receive our order. While it’s saying it’s been delivered hour ago. There’s no contact information for the drivers. What a waste of time and money.

Phoned restaurant and sworn at

Ordered Chicken Donor after a long time from this place thinking it might have improved by now but still very disappointing. Chicken was not tender at all and pitta was hard too. It didn’t seem fresh at all. They really need to improve big time. Would have asked for a refund if I was in person.

Had my first and most likely last visit to this shop a short while ago. Ordered the large doner (£9.50 / cash only) and what I got was a bland and rubbery pile of meat with chilli and garlic sauce devoid of any flavour. I should have known what was to come when the meat was pulled from the metal container rather than being grilled and cut fresh as once I got home five minutes later the meat meat was lukewarm and totally unappetising. As Northwood’s only kebab joint I was really hoping I’d like this place but unfortunately my experience is similar to those who have left similar issues in the past. I’d rather order in from further afield using Uber/Deliveroo.

I can only comment on the large lamb shish which I ordered. The about a third of the cubes were very "leathery", not tender at all. I chewed and chewed until I literally had to spit the piece out. Wish I'd read the reviews before ordering. Very disappointing.

Have to assemble your own kebab, salad is soggy and very bitter from the pickles. Chicken in kebab was very fatty and did not taste nice. Chips were hard. Defo recommend to go in to the restaurant instead of delivery

This order was never delivered. Had to go to restaurant and reorder. Driver showing order delivered but not true. You can check with restaurant as we had to reorder and collect. This driver can not be trusted. Request a refund.

I order a mixed donna and they forgot to put the lamb meat in- so received just chicken very unhappy as was more looking forward to the lamb than the chicken

This place is horrifying their chicken donner looked and tasted like it was from the day before! It had very hard pieces inside, that can potentially break a tooth. The chips were REFRIED which I find absolutely crazy! The owner was very rude!! And was acting like he didn’t know what Apple Pay was then pulled out the contactless machine and told me to tap aggressively LOOOOOOL and then they charged me a whole pound for sauce extra and told me salad is also a pound! that’s how you know this guy has regular stinky food and is trying to make money of the sauces HAHAHH how sad and very unfortunate.

The food was delivered on time, but it was missing the portion of chips, that I had ordered and one of kebab orders was wrong, it came with loads of bulgur wheat nobody wanted the salad was poor. It was just onions. And cabbage with just one slice of cucumber and one slice of tomato. when I rang up to complain I was met with a poor attitude from the staff.

The Mixed Kebab Lrg is not worth the money. I thought I got a box of meat. It was some meat on a deep bed of cous cous/rice. Very very disappointed. Avoid at all costs

I shall read reviews. I bought lamb kebab. Left and sat in the car to eat it. When I opened the box it was stinking. I did few bites on the lamb meat and it was not fresh. It was not possible to eat. They put the meat on the full box of qusqus which was not fresh as well. I decided to go back and return it. Off course they refused the refund. They started to smell the meat and said "sir" nothing wrong with the meat. I am kebeb lover and I have never got into something like kebab shop is selling stale old meat. That was stinked meat. Anyway. I hope you enjoy it boys? I am not suprise you gave me full box of qusqus for free which I did not asked for. Avoid like a plaque!!!! Wasted £10 Never more. I left the kebab in the shop. They should have inspectors callled in to check the place and what they sell. Disgusting. Shame!!!!

The Lamb Shish was old and rotten but with all these spiky ingridients hard to be sure. I knew for sure following day when I had food poisoning. Stay away. Wasted money and health hazard!!!!

the restaurant were very accommodating for our very large order, however, the delivery was 45 minutes late which affected the breaks of our staff members, many of which did not get a chance to eat and food was wasted.

We love the food here, it's our go to for a quick tasty family meal. ☺️ Meats are yum, and the salads are good too. The selection of dips are great. Will buy again for sure.

I purchased cheesy chips and was served cold chips that were fried and had gone cold. Charged £4.50. I would never expect to buy cold chips with cheese for £4.50. I wish I had checked before I left the shop. Update: brought this to the shops attention and they provided me with a replacement which was nice of them
