Caffè Nero in Hillingdon

I had a very early flight and had to stay on the airport overnight at terminal 4. The waiting seats areas were not comfortable at all and it was cold so thankfully I spent many hours at this coffee shop it has nice seats very comfortable. I had croissants and coffee it was ok.

Great service Tasteless coffee. No noticeable notes and very bland. Saw a last minute advertisement for Honduras single, but I was already committed. If this review was helpful, please give it a 👍 Coffe4everssss

Half sleep staff,very slow busy talking to each other then focusing on serving customers

They have plenty of seats, but it gets crowded, so it might be a bit difficult to find one easily. The staff were friendly, and the food and tea tasted good.

This Cafe is really dirty, I would rather eat outside. So disgusting.

The staff is absolutely rude. The girl is Indian She asked me To not allow me To lay when I wasn't sleeping/ laying fullly and again she came and told me to to not to put my feed on the bottom where everyone was doing same thing I know it's not a right thing but still the way she is communicating with the customer is hell rude, that is not she supposed to talk with the tired passenger! Airport staff with 0 professionalism 🤬

The service at Cafe Nero (and all the others) in London is always so much worse than any town outside of London. Basic thing, but for an airport cafe that needs to be efficient, people don't know where the queue starts and ends - make it more clear!

No sense of customer service at Cafe nero in terminal 4. One worker comes up saying “you cannot sit here because I need the table to sort out delivered food”. Asked if they had any tables available because I saw all the tables were full and he replied “I don’t know you need to go and check”.

Food is good as always with Nero but the staff are not welcoming and very disorganised. The layout and flow of the shop is also a disaster!

Ednifa made my soya hot chocolate and it was amazing !! I know this because I was a barista for Prêt a Manger for 5 years myself. And she as hot as I wanted. Beautiful 🤩

Quite chaotic and messy, but food/coffee are good

You can count on a Café Nero in multiple locations in London, and it could not be missing in a Heathrow airport terminal. I especially like a lemon cake, although the quality can vary from one store to another. But the variety of food and drink offerings is good. In this case, 4 am is a real salvation for the passenger, because there are no other options.

Nice coffee and green tea us muffins, nice music, luckily found nice chair and table, the others were quite awful. Unfortunately all area very dirty, including tables.

Staff are not quite helpful. I ordered latte, which is not even warm. Went to tell them, one of the staff replied rudely. No professionalism. When I requested her, she overheated the same latte. I think they should implement some changes.

Great fast service and layout of this Caffe Nero is very nice

Be aware of the food that is being served. I found a ant on my panini and this was eating in. Furthermore, whilst ordering the coffees, I noticed one of the staff member was asking another staff about serving the slices of cakes which one of them was contaminated, realising I understood what she was saying, she quickly covered the contanimated one a d serving the remaining cakes for the customers to purchase. The staff was either failed to understand or was ignorant to the fact if a part of the cake is contaminated then the whole cake is off and shouldn't be served. I complained about the ant and raised the matter about the cake to the manger of the store. They denied the cake aspect and took my complain via paper, but failed to pass it on to the management. Raised all this with the head office and again, they failed to address all my points. They were very selective in which points to address and was ignorant to my other points. Despite all this, I have yet to receive a final response which addresses all my complaint points. FYI it's has been over 1 month. Furthermore, if the tone of the head office holds wrong tone that influences the bottom chains. Failing to address all the points raised in a complaint and being selective and ignorant, it's no surprise why their branches is failing to maintain hygiene standards.

Been here last Sunday while I went to drop off my wife. Wanted to have a coffee as I am fan of Nero but let down by unprofessional behaviour of staffs. There were two queues to order, I stood in one lane for 5 minutes and I was the only person in the queue but no one called me to serve. At least 3 staffs saw me waiting but did not bother to ask me 'how can i help'. I felt totally let down and quit the queue. This store has ZERO customer service. Whoever owns this cafe needs to look at it seriously.

My trip to the UK is coming to an end, and I head to Heathrow Airport, albeit with heavy steps. After completing the security check, we headed towards this part of the airport. My last latte at a British coffee chain store that I didn't visit during my trip. I enjoyed my trip to England...

cheese and tomato sandwich was amazing, even though it was cold. white chocolate hot cocoa was fairly good, but the consistency was kind of watery.

Purchased a frappe from LHR T4 cafe nero and it was the worst frappe I ever had in my life ,it tastes like just ice water.. after tasting we realise that we paid for a ice water with milk we back to shack and ask for extra syrup and initially they said 35 p and we were ready to pay and when we give her money she called someone from the cafe and they said its 60 p.They are not customer friendly.very rude behaviour.Finally we cancelled to add syrup and throw the frappe in bin .Completely disappointed before my flight.

Caffe Nero located in terminal 3 of Heathrow is a solid place to get sandwich’s during your stay at the Airport. Their sausage roll is very good. So is their bacon/cheese. They have a good variety of coffees too.

It seems like I got covid there

Beware of this store located in the airport, as they discreetly add an extra 30p to the price of every coffee, especially the single origin variety, without transparently informing the customers. I have personally experienced this deceitful practice twice within the past year. The location being in an airport where customers are not regular visitors seems to be their opportunity to exploit and deceive unsuspecting patrons. Proceed with caution when dealing with this establishment.

Really filthy. Everyone been given takeaway cups and not asking if sitting in to give a mug. Everyone in seating area using takeaway cup. Lazy and irresponsible for the environment. Nice music.. Nice prices for airport. Meerkat 25% off drinks discount works here

Cashier 39949 JuanaD is rude and unpleasant to the service industry. I walked up to her politely, said good morning to her and asked if they take a certain card payment. She nodded her head silently with a death stare in her eyes and hasn’t spoken a word so I assumed she doesn’t have a voice to speak with. I then walked away behind a lady assuming that was the line because JuanaD still hasn’t spoken a word to me. As I walked away to where I thought was the line, I finally heard a voice from afar and it was JuanaD. She can speak which I was surprised, she asked me what do I want with the same death stare in her eyes, I walked up to her confused and told her that she hasn’t even spoken a word to me so I assumed I had to go to someone else to take my order, and all she did was just nod her head. So I then proceeded to give my order but the entire experience was the weirdest interaction because she has not said or word or smiled or anything. She left my drink on the table and then finally she said something to me, she said what my total was. She still had the death stare in her eyes as she is taking my payment. She did not say a word after that. I am just appalled that anyone like that works in the service industry. I don’t even know if there is a management team or else why would they have someone like that working for them.

Staff was distracted and slow. After a very long wait in a hot and crowded space I was given a different drink to the one I ordered. Not a good customer experience.

Fast efficient service very polite Don’t forget to use all queue lanes to speed up service and it also stops people staring at you when you’re the only one in that line and there’s 10 in the other So you get served first 😀

Unbelievable, August 2023, we found ourselves, due to a canceled flight, spending the night in the airport. There were families with children and couples of all ages who could not find a place in the airport hotels because they were full. The waiter at this stand denied us access to the benches and chairs while it was open. He sold coffee all night while leaving us and the children on wooden chairs... All night long he prohibited us from accessing the EMPTY benches! No humanity, no empathy, just there to make money. A shame !

My first meal in London (Heathrow Airport T3)

Undrinkable coffee. They probably over roasted the beans and scalded the milk. It tasted like windex.

The lady who is responsible for cleaning didn’t let us use the sofa, even though we we’re customer of the Nero.

This shop consistently up charges for the single “special” roast coffee regardless to if the customer asks for it. Additionally the layout is terrible with a long queue that is difficult to navigate with luggage. Once you wait for your drink the way out is to walk back through the queue or disturb the customers in the seating area. Overall a poor and deceitful branch of an otherwise mediocre chain of coffee shops.

The coffee is not bad but the seats are dirty, and the staff are a bit clueless. Chaos everywhere.

I got a sandwich really good! The cashier was nice to me. Then, the night staff came and I saw him being rude to some of the clients. Not directly to me. I think he could be more polite. I think the customers were doing something wrong, but the staff shouldnt loose respect because of that.

Large Nero branch at Heathrow T4 departure hall. Good selection of food and drinks. Nice decor and large seating area (for typical airport coffee shop). Service was OK - Efficient if somewhat cold. Shame about floor being absolutely filthy at the evening hour we visited. The terminal and the coffee shop were very quite, so clearly plenty of time for a quick round of cleanup.

The baristas doesn't even know if the pastries is halal or even vegan. being rude when asked about it. Ordered 2 frappe and 1 hot beverage, not that good…

Purchased coffee from Caffe Nero Heathrow Airport Terminal 4 on Tuesday 2 May 2023. It was a very horrible experience. There was no milk or sugar put out for customers to use. I had to keep returning to the till. The coffee was not good either.

In busiest places like Heathrow, they are working hard to serve the best, still there are lots to improve!

To the manager, worst customer service ever. Two indian girls were in a conversation even after seeing the customer. No smile or whatsoever.

The only place I have been to so far that serves scones, and with butter of course, excellent.

The coffee is good for the paid prices. Not many choices for food. Not suitable if you have lots of luggages.

Service was not friendly or fast. Had the server listened to my order instead of chatting to colleagues then I would have had the correct drink. To then be told that it was my fault as I asked for the wrong drink. Well I would never ask for diary milk since I am intolerant to it, and oat does not sound like milk in any case.

It opens 24 hours and has Sweet and Salty, a good option in a pinch since at night there is nothing else open I think

On our way to pick up car after a long haul flight ordered a grande cappuccino & a grande hot chocolate for the drive home! Server was polite courteous! All I can say the drinks were hot! Had to taste the hot chocolate to see which one was the cappuccino. Disappointing!

They don't know how to make the drinks properly. They think adding hot milk is the answer for everything. You ask for black Americano, they ask if I wanted milk with. You make a complaint about it, the supervisor says it's how they make it. What an answer. We buy six hot drinks every day as we work at the airport, seven days a week. No consistency on how the drinks are made. Supervisor actually said, if we continue to complain about the cappuccino not made properly. They will refuse to serve us. Well we definitely not be going back here. Costa and pret definitely better options at terminal 3

I ordered a hot chocolate without cream - the first one arrived with cream, the second one full of sugar, given that I like it bitter, but I think that the amount of sugar is my discretion, I won't take it back..., but you can drink this rubbish you not me. Thanks for the very dirty table

The staff need to double check that the lid is put on over the cup properly before serving it, because the hot drink given to me spilled over my hand when I grabbed it.

The place looks cosy, but the service is lacking a bit. I had a bacon and chicken sandwich toastie, which was given back to me cold, after waiting for quite some time. The queues were long, the staff friendly, but took ages to make my black forest drink - a seasonal special. And to be fair, not really worth the almost FIVE POUNDS!

Ok cafe before going through Security at terminal 4 Heathrow departures. Not many options, no seasonal drinks and very limited seats with no space for luggage.

I love cafe nero coffe but the staff you have on terminal 4. Is so hateable, they don’t know how to serve customers , I worked my self at costa. Never had this kinda colleague. Service rough and rude here.

As a regular customer here , extremely disappointed to come across a sarcastic smiling employee to tell me to go WHSmith just to buy a plastic spoon.

Normally a BIG fan of cafe nero, but the barrista really didn't know the quantities.BAD drink.

Evil staff. Late night flight was cancelled got turfed out of the plane at midnight and told by airport staff to crash on the Nero couches. Nero staff kicked up a fuss and switched on bright lights on and turned on music and jacked up the volume, in what appeared to be a spiteful effort to prevent us from sleeping. Lots of mothers with young children were amongst the passengers who were having a difficult enough time as it was. I shall never visit nero again.

It's good but hours need to be updated, not open 24 hours, staff member told us it's closed.

High credits to brave and tireless barista serving all alone last soldier at the lost post besieged by customers! Around midnight, terminal full of people arriving from around the world, frustrated of staff shortage induced baggage chaos, long waits, missed connections... Cafe Nero is probably the only venue still open and serving relief. With a single staff only! I hope the company will reward him an extra bonus. What an illustration of the time we are living now...

Good luck finding a space to sit in this airport cafe. This was the only area with chargers and yet the baristas continuously came over to bug myself and other people sitting in the area for not making a purchase. If you didn’t want people using the area to charge it shouldn’t have been built in the first place. There isn’t even signage saying a purchase must be made to sit here, the only signage in the area says “Nero cafe food only” and since I wasn’t eating anything it just makes no sense for the harassment. This isn’t a restaurant it’s a coffee bar in an airport people shouldn’t have to be harassed to move when there is no more than 20 people in the coffee spot and they need to charge.

Great coffee also have gadgets charging points, not just that but you would enjoy your time if u lucky enough have time after checking in ... I would recommend to go and have some hot drinks before you fly ... as you will defiantly not get such coffee in-flight nither this indulgent snacks and cookies ... moreover the services are good

Decent coffee. Don't be surprised but I hardly ever go to any Caffe Neros. Going to this branch partly because it is a good waiting area (when there is still ample time prior to boarding) and also I'm probably only half-awake when sending off my siblings'/friends' for their morning flights. A bit of a peculiar attitude from the cashier, though.

Really good coffee, particularly considering you’re at an airport. Really nice sandwiches, including 3 vegetarian options which made me really happy. Juices are a bit pricey but you really can’t complain since all airports jack up prices

I like the coffee here and because I have been coming here several times the staff know what I want and they just ask me if I want the usual and when I say yes they know exactly how to prepare my coffee. The portions are generous and I struggle to finish even the small servings. The hard wooden chairs are uncomfortable to sit on for a long time and I suppose they don't want you sitting there all day.

The only place to have a sandwich or a coffee whilst waiting to check in to your flight. Works 24/7, this is a pro. Not very comfy seats. No soups offered, bummer for those who like hot food. Don't fly through Heathrow

Hot coffee is hot and not lukewarm like at Costa. On the low side, staff the slowest I’ve ever seen at a Nero but friendly nevertheless

I like cafe Nero. But this one the staff were more interested in talking to each other than serving customers.

The coffee options at this airport or not amazing however, Nero is probably going to be your best bet. It's especially handy if during your time in London you collected a stamp card and you can pick up a free drink on your way home.

Its coffe shop like all others chain shops a bit expensive but i think they all are. Nothing else to say if you like coffee and thier taste its up to you. Cheers
