A cycle group stop off, and the best cappuccino in Leicestershire! Always a nice cake or pastry and very friendly staff. Looking forward to my next visit already 😋

What a shame , a lovely venue with great coffee and so much potential near a beautiful village location. However, so poorly managed. Clearly very hardworking staff on shift but not valued and not trained as they deserve to be. Worse than this, poor treatment of staff going on when the vibe of the place purports to be about spreading 'kindness'. Much of the food is actually supplied from ASDA and is over priced. Taking the custom of local people for granted because they can get away with it? 😔😪

Visited for lunch hoping for some nice food. Paid £10 for a mediocre toasted cheese sandwich with a couple of girkin slices. Really bland and uninspiring food. My children had the same experience. We could have gone elsewhere and had a much nicer meal for the same cost. The cafe is soulless and noisy, and the staff, although polite, don't seem very interested in creating a welcoming environment. We won't be back.

The management has chosen to turn this place into a children’s play centre. Consequently those of us who do not come as a family with small children are neglected. Coffee is served without serviettes or spoons. Request for spoons was met by the excuse that they only had one. The promise of a second came to nothing. We were also left waiting for the ordered scone. There was no decaf tea. We were told that food was not available for 30 minutes….but others who arrived after us were served with lunch. We have been supporting this cafe since it opened, but our loyalty is now severely strained. It is likely to become popular with young families, but they have lost our custom, as they probably intended. Pity! We will go elsewhere if you like.

Not a particularly inviting place for coffee. We were served the smallest flat white known to man in something similar to an egg cup and it wasn't very hot

Came across Northern Cobbler by chance and what a find! The menu is fairly limited but the dishes we had were delicious! Can highly recommend the coffee too! Friendly staff, attractive interior as well as outdoor seating - we’ll definitely be back!

Food was good; we decided to eat at lunchtime and live nearby. Very busy staff attentive and pleasant. Clean and plates cleared without asking. BIG problem if you don’t like sharing with dogs yapping and begging for food. Surprised with hygiene being the in thing that they allow animals in the cafe. Definitely will be off the list.

The Chicken & Stuffing wrap with side salad was very well received by my wife. I had the Chicken & Stuffing Burger with chips. That was very tasty as well. Succulent chicken breast. Well done to Wetherspoons for offering such tasty Christmas meals and well done to the Sugar Loaf chefs!!

We visited today (22.12.2024). We had booked a table online 1 week in advance for 11 - for a Xmas catchup with family. We were greeted with nobody.. waited to be seated with small kids.. to be told the table had been cancelled by the online farmhouse inns team - even after we confirmed our booking with the place on the phone a few days before. We eventually got a table after a member of management said "i had to move some tables around to accommodate you all".. our food came out incorrectly with a member if my family who is vegan did not receive the correct food content as the vegan chilli clearly advertised on the menu, to which they served with just initially cheese.. they then changed for another plate of nachos with sauces .. And then 3rd time round came out correctly. We were told we have a 2 hour time limit on the table as they were busy due to Xmas bookings.. we said we understood even thougg we had booked for the extra 30 mins which is all we needed.. we said we would leave but wanted to carry on having some more drinks .. to which the staff member said we HAVE to leave and give up our table and they were unsure if they could accommodate drinks for us somewhere else. We ended up staying on the table after being told 'we have had to move other people and tables around to accommodate you" the person serving our food was great.. the member of management was sorry to say very rude, not very accommodating and was clearly annoyed when the vegan food was / had to be changed. I always leave reviews for great service working in retail myself.. but I felt today was a terrible experience for us and understand the importance of service and customer experience.. we understood and understand it's a busy time of year but my gosh we were overwhelmed with the responses we got them questioned.. we remained patient and calm and understood it's a busy weekend.. we spent some decent money in there my came to £230 .. food when correct and served was very good on a plus. Sorry team Lutterworth FarmhouseInns.. but we told you we were coming and travelling from Northampton, Leicester and MK.. and our expected duration of stay, but you let us down massively. Unacceptable sorry. My booking reference; DMN - 16885494540

Absolute fools, just went into the shop then, £12 for some greasy chicken and chips and cash only!! You can KFC for £8... They literally couldn't care less and wanted me to do all the leg work to give them MY money, unhelpful was like " don't like don't eat". Genuinely never experienced such a poor customer experience for what is essentially a poor man's low level kebab shop charging more than gourmet Turkish kebab shops do. Why any of you locals support this business is beyond me.
