Ordered 2meals one was an English breakfast the other a mushroom dish which my daughter ate ,my breakfast was tasteless dry and tasted nasty ,I remembered why I don't eat there ,processed rubbish on a plate avoid the menu ,drinks are fine

Another great meal today me and my partner had 2 mains for £12.95 delicious great price, great atmosphere great friendly staff 100%

Visiting family from Canada and visited on a Friday. The service from Vicky and crew was exceptional. It made us come back several times before we left back home and will ensure we return again on our next visit. Vicky was warm, welcoming and made us and our family feel comfortable.

Average pub meals ,great service from all staff lovely pleasant atmosphere.

1 hand-pulled beer (Green King IPA) which was a good pint. Food offer good (2 mains for £12.50) and the food was good. Just a short wait to be served.

Come here after a horrible experience at The Sandstone Nab and Norman Conquest was fantastic. Friendly staff and lovely food. Will certainly be returning.

Norman conquest was a really nice public house service was good what I had to eat was mediocre but the pub was packed so maybe that was the problem staff was very good.considering

It would have been very pleasant, if a table didn't let a baby scream the entire time. Staff did nothing about it. No one comes to the pub and pays to hear someone else's kid scream.

Should be renamed conquer, as they've honestly conquered what a great meal is. However their conquest to hire the greatest staff around was an absolute success, great establishment it's a must see and must eat!!!

Cheap quality food frozen chips I paid for pepper sauce it came in the tiniest jug and wasn't even half full. My partner got fish and chips and it was just enough for a child not a man he was still starving. The food is cheap and so is the quality ok if that's what you want I won't be returning I would rather pay a bit more for better quality. If a chef cooks frozen chios they not a chef

A really nice atmosphere with helpful staff and very good service.

I come her regularly with family and friends, we usually come here to spend birthdays and celebrations aswell. The staff are always happy to help and I especially like the chicken platter as it has plenty of options to make it your own. Would absolutely recommend coming here, especially on a sunny day as there are plenty of outside tables.

Came in for my mothers 84th birthday, food was beautiful, staff where friendly and everyone joined in singing happy birthday which made her day. Had a brill time.

Great food, quick and friendly service

Went it today for a family meal alongside my partner and our 7 year old autistic son. Shortly after arriving a group of 5 nested alongside us openly and loudly discussing drugs and preferences and what community work they have had to do. I now have a difficult discussion with my son about fentanyl plus others not what I was hoping from my trip out to the pub. And yes maybe the bar staff can't control what people talk about but I just want you, dear reader to know what kind of place you are heading towards for your meal.

Always come here in large groups spend alot of money was there on the 2nd September the food as gone right down was my mams birthday the steaks were tough the kids lasagne was microwaved to he'll the dianne sauce was soure won't Co.e anymore

Large sunny beer garden very tidy.Young ladies vaping giving of more smoke than ICI cooling towers . Didn't eat there but the food did look good and the service was excellent.

Huge menu, could be shortened I kinda feel bad for the chefs that have to stock and date everything but it ensured there was so much to choose from, very much enjoyed my food although half our meals came out half hour after each other and took 45 minutes, everything else was great

Called for the first time since lockdown!! Enjoyed our lunch, hot tasty and presented well. Ordered steak, but had no mustard.. Very surprising!!

Cheap and cheerful 🙂 food is good, decent sized portions, but you might have wait depending on the day / time etc, been here a few times and i will be back again im sure some time in the near future

Party of 12 booked in 7pm ordered food for all by 7.30 was told a 50 minute wait, well over 1/2 hr later got told they had run out of sirloin which was paid for and had to choose another 1.1/2 hours later food started to arrive by the time last person served the first order had finished there food also they did not have enough steak knifes they said they were short of steak knifes, made a complaint but it fell on deaf ears, food was okay reasonably priced but will not be returning, this was on a Wednesday night and very few customers and they couldn't cope for a small party of 12. Manager needs to read this review again and not make excuses.

Lovely place but was really busy as it was a wednesday lunchtime. We were told initially it was a 40 minute wait for food which we said was no problem but was well over an hour when it arrived. Food was hot and really nice so was worth the long wait.

Book a table online for 2 and got confirmation of booking in email yet when we got there , there was no table reserve. I showed email of confirmation of booking and then put in busy bar area.

We had a pleasant meal here. Food was excellent and the service was also. The only thing was we had to wait 45 minutes from ordering our food to serving but the quality of the food made up for this Will definitely recommend to anyone.

Friendly cosy place, clean and reasonably priced food and drink. Everyone is super polite, even if you're not a regular like myself. Highly recommend if you are in the area. :)

Had table booked for 8 people a week in advance, turned up around 5 minutes before the booking to be told that the table that was reserved for us had people sat at it and their food had just arrived. We would either have to wait for them to finish or the alternative was to be sat on two separate tables. Manager came across as rude, was not apologetic about the situation and also became argumentative when challenged about the situation as though it was somehow our fault.

Decent with cheap food and nice atmosphere. Pretty popular place and no shortage of customers. Not the healthiest menu ever, but if that is what people want so be it. I went for the healthy option and it was delicious so no complaints. Changed my diet so have to eat differently!
